Me and a few others have decided to open up an All-Flight Discord for Flight Rising. Our decision was based upon the fact that all other active Flight Rising discords that we could find have merely been channels in gaming servers.
There's nothing wrong with this; however, we felt it would be easier for cross-communication between those in separate Flights if there was a common, easy to access discord. Forums are a pain if you aren't familiar with traversing them.
Our discord aims to have an open and welcoming environment where you can make new friends and show off your best dragons. 
We want everyone in our discord to feel included, so we have both channels and roles for various interests. Here are a few examples.
~Dragon Showcase
~Arts and Crafts
~Writers room
~Dragon sales, art sales, lore sales, leveling advertisements 
~Hatchery showcases and Dom channels
And much more!
Though we are starting out small, we are steadily growing day by day and hope to see you there.
