I am a sailing instructor in the Caribbean, but really I am a big kid that loves stories - adventure stories with dogs, boats, storms, parrots and badies that lose in the end.  I can't read books where animals get hurt - people, well yeah thats ok I guess.  

I am so lucky to have a young adult novel in print, it's about everything above, the story has no vampires or witches or wizards and well, no swear words either, but that can be okay if theres adventure right?

Here in the Virgin Islands we have fantasy - for real, everyday.  Until I run out of real fantasy I wont need witches, wizards and vampires.
