I won't go on about how much I love reading and writing, of course I do but that much is obvious.

I'm about to study Biochemistry at university, I write in my spare time and I take inspiration from authors like Jodi Picoult, Cecelia Ahern, Khaled Hossaini... the list goes on.

My current book means something to me because I feel like it addresses real issues in the world, young girls have to suffer abuse at the hands of narrow minded men.

Depressing I know but I feel like my book raises awareness about these issues and that's all I can hope for.

Please read, vote, follow :)

I'd love to hear from anyone who has any questions so feel free to message me!

I hope you enjoy my book and love the characters as much as I do!

First paragraph of my book...

My hands slowly traced the outline and ridges of the barrel of the gun. I gripped it tightly in fear that if I dropped it, it would go off, and then I’d be in serious trouble. I held it up and aimed, even in the darkness of this barn I could imagine myself out hunting with my father, him teaching me how to get the best kill and patting my head admiringly when I did so. I felt exhilarated and didn’t want to put the gun down, how was it that this weapon could make me feel so powerful when I was living in a world where I was powerless. The irony of it made me smile and I put the gun down, this would never be my gun, I would never feel powerful, and my father would most certainly never do anything towards me admiringly. What I did know is that he would do it with spite, hatred, like he wished I wasn’t here…
