"I tend to put myself in the mind of a specific character - particularly egos of mine, as I have many. Each poem derives from a specific story, however the reader only gets a glimpse - an excerpt. I like to let my audience interpret my work as they please; what appears on the surface and the true meaning can be something entirely different. Poetry has always been a fascination of mine and a way of release. My tone persists and my voice is loud - I want to be listened to, not just heard."
