COMMENCING ROLEPLAY

Girl on Fire. The phrase I came up with to describe the flames that erupted every time she stepped into a room.

Katniss Everdeen. The tribute everyone looked out for in the arena because of her stunning outfits displayed to Capitol audiences and the rest of the world on television.

And me. Cinna. The rookie stylist that made this girl a household name.

I asked for District 12. I knew I would find the promises of a diamond in the dull coal lodes of the Seam. I could make someone huge. When I saw Katniss, I knew there was something in her that could bring a victor to this rundown district for the first time in just under half a century with Peeta. They won the 74th Hunger Games, making history. But that was just the beginning.

Katniss was the face of a new rebellion against the Capitol, and President Snow wanted to snuff out her flame. I would never let that happen. At least, I would do my best to demonstrate the complete and unconditional faith I had in her.

The last outfit I ever made for my Girl on Fire was her wedding dress. When she spun around that day in Caesar Flickerman's interview, it turned into a Mockingjay, the symbol of rebellion. I supported the rebellion 100 percent. Power-hungry Snow was infuriated. He couldn't afford to kill Katniss, but he could kill me. So he did.

Katniss ended up changing everyone's lives forever by succeeding in her mission. The Capitol was overthrown and the Hunger Games were discontinued. I am so proud of her.
