This is the first story prologue of Feral and Griffith part of the story Elsewhere. Feral also known as Feral Nio is a being born from light and dark. Griffith also known as Griffith Nen is a being born from life and greater light. The story revolves around how it came to be and how they met before the events and the story of Elsewhere. This is the only first written story to follow up their story and only prologue of it all.

A young Harvin girl, Nio, found herself a travelling bard group that would give her such sanctuary. The bard's leader, Karasu, welcomed her warmly into the group. She couldn't be happier. Feelings of safety and bonds of relationships were formed, blooming into something familiar. Reminiscent of a harmonious life free of worry. They became a family. Yet unbeknownst to her, that very haven was crumbling, bit by bit. There was greed. There was deception. There were lies. But Nio chose to ignore it all. The tunes surrounding her were ever present. Even though they were supposed to be pleasant. Even though they were supposed to make her happy. But she closed her ears, shutting away that once-beloved harmony. She'll hear what she wanted to hear, as long as they could be together.

After Black Class had ended she had been trying to do community college and work at the same time but somewhere along the tracks her family was led into a family crisis with their mother needing much more serious care. Haruki started to become determined to make sure she could get the money. She looked for jobs in the newspapers, did multiple interviews, and even tried to do assassin jobs, all though she quit for a decent amount of time for schooling. After all hope was lost the reunion of the Black Class made her bump into her old roommate. Isuke Inukai. The two didn't have a fairly good relationship,however Haruki felt as if that was her only hope.
