Marty Deeks and Kensi Marie Blye are still part of NCIS:Los Angeles but a lot of things have happened over the last 9 years. Things like a proposal, their marriage, 4 (about to be 5) beautiful children, a few more dogs, and essentially, though the same old partners we know and love.

Everything has a start and DENSI isn't an exception. In this story we will start before they even met, just so we can see how much their life truly changed because of each other. We hope you enjoy this journey with us!

Deeks has a secret. He has a son and a daughter who are 4 year old twins. His wife passed away right before he joined NCIS and nobody knows. What will happen after keeping the secret for 2 years when everyone finally learns why he never joins them after work or for weekend trips. Will they push him away after lying to them or will they look past that and look at his amazing kids.

This may or may not be a oneshot. I haven't decided yet. You see, everyone has three hearts. The first one you show to strangers. The second is reserved for your family, and the person who's meant to walk by your side, your soulmate. The third heart, that's the thing. You don't let anyone see that. There's too much truth. Too much risk.

A weekend camping trip in the mountains two hours north of Ojai, California sounded like a fabulous idea. Days filled with fun and adventure with nights spent next to a roaring campfire telling ghost stories turn into something quite unexpected for the participants.
