But what if they were changed? Another pair that takes up the mantle of responsibility and makes a mark on Alagaësia in their own way? What if Eragon had a twin sister and in the Spine, they found a red stone instead? What changes, then, starting from the very beginning?

An Inheritance Cycle fanfiction/rewrite, written in such a way that even those unfamiliar with the series can read without issue! An OC insert at the beginning of the first book where the difference in character, personality, and actions cause this story to diverge from the one we know slowly.

Some of the first chapters are more or less simple edited copies of actual chapters from the books, mainly because there was simply not much to change. But as the story diverges, so will the chapters.

Currently, I plan to rewrite the entirety of the first book, but that is a pretty huge goal, so we'll see.
