The world was falling apart around them, everyone was watching their neighbor with greedy eyes and a selfish heart. No one had anything left to give and there was no hope of a brighter day around the bend, they had no  choice but to hand their trust to the one person who promised them a glimse of that light they had seen so long ago. 

All they had to do was help them take down the ones that had snatched it from them in the first place, then it would be smooth sailing! So they did, Finally pushing aside their worrys they handed what little they had left to that glimmer they saw and waited for her to return. 

They had won, the others were no more and the sun would rise again any day now, that was what she had promised after all. 

"It must get worse before it can get better" In every speach, on every bilboard but it never did.

The people of Cambaar split into two sides over the final battle. Lorelei still doesn't believe it will work. As the war rages forward relationships unravel. Sanity is lost. And blood is spilt across the forbidding land. They finally begin to understand what it means when they hear "The price of war isn't just blood". 5- nuclear war (6-17-19)

Those who are immune form The Society and go on the run in hopes to find a hiding place away from the rest of the world. Ghost, an immune, escapes from The Shelters and runs into Frostbite, an infected teenager. Ghost believes that his father, head researcher of the LeVon Institute, was close to finding a cure but is murdered before he does. As the disease continues to spread, a timeline is placed on Frostbite's life. Will they find the cure in time to save people's lives? Or will The Society be the only ones left standing?

I knew I couldn't take the might of SWARM on my own, so I recruited my friends to help me. Given aid by them, along with the Varius, a special gift from my father, we were willing to do just about anything to end SWARM. But before I seem like a hero, it might be worth mentioning that this all started because of a girl - I was only human, after all. She was everything I didn't know I needed. I don't regret that it started this way, but I will forever regret what this fight cost me. She helped me realize that a good portion of the evil I was fighting...was hiding in my own heart.

I am not from this planet. Hell, I am technically not from this galaxy. However, that doesn't change the fact I am here now, and my job is to save what I can on this forsaken planet and what's left of its inhabitants. The problem is that not everyone wants to be saved. I know what you're thinking. You can't save those who don't want to be saved. I bloody well agree. The ones who sent me don't care what you or I think, though. All they care about is numbers. They need a certain success rate to continue to get funding for their "expeditions" and "peacekeeping" efforts. I use both terms loosely here. Once in the facility, Evita is tagged as a test subject and loses all say over what happens to her body. She has to escape. By the time she comes up with a plan there is only one problem. Evita isn't ready to leave.
