Genevieve (Evee) had grown up in Ottery St. Catchpole. Living her whole life understanding and learning about the Wizarding world. She would go to work with both of her parents, pretend with her friends about what it would be like when they all got to attend Hogwarts together, and make frequent trips to Diagon Alley to rummage through whatever books she could. . .but only to have her world come crashing down the day she discovered she was a Squib. When her friends started making things happen at the age of 7, Evee could only sit and watch. When four more years had passed and no change came with it, neither did Evee's acceptance letter to Hogwarts, leaving her devastated. Eventually Evee accepted her fate and began to adjust to the world of the non-magic Muggles. She went to school in the village, picked up small jobs from neighbors and the village recreational center, made a new friend, even tried the dating game, and just spent the next few years settling herself completely in her Squib ways...at least as best as she could. . . .But fate decided that maybe Evee would be of good use in the Wizarding world and gave her a chance, bringing her old life back in to play. Will she be able to readjust? Will she throw up the finger and tell fate it can shove it? Will she prove her worth? And what of old friends that come back into her life? Particularly a firecracker of a red-headed jokester?
