Everything is in chaos, people are frantic and in panic. The noise is all over the place. A mixture of the siren sound of an ambulance, the wails of people around, murmurs, even the barks of dogs around the neighborhood. Even in the midst of chaos, nothing makes sense to her, she can't hear any of those, what she hear is a never ending ring inside her head. All she knows is that her body aches, it hurts yet it feels so comfy. Too comfy that it makes her sleepy. She then felt something warm holding her hand. That familiar warmth she was not able to feel for a very long time, the warmth of someone so dear to her. It was then followed by a soothing voice that she really missed. "Nak, andito ako. Andito si mama" The warmth she felt earlier gave her a little squeeze. An assurance, an assurance that someone out there is there waiting for her. Maybe, maybe if she felt that warmth during those times where she is already loosing herself, she might not be in this situation right now. That warmth may have saved her from the depression and sadness that slowly drowned her. It's late, too late to save her.
