Addendum: this story is dead. For something similar but (I'd like to think) better, see my other story of the same name.

In a secure, undisclosed location, an underground compound houses humanity's first and last line of defense: the men and women of the fighter wing, ground squads, think tank, and engineering team. They are pledged to defend humanity against threats unknown. But they will come to know these threats, and they will fight back with all they have, because the only alternative is to die trying.

Metastory Notes: This will be based on a single playthrough; I (the author) will be writing solely in response to the events of the game. The characters, events, and techs will be based on what the Random Number God throws me and my gameplay responses. The interactions of the characters (on which I hope to focus) will, however, be solely my invention. I've only got about a week to work on this, so I hope to be updating relatively frequently. As always, I welcome comments and notes. Firaxis owns this game and IP.

21 parts Complete Mature
I recommend reading the first two parts before this! After only two weeks into the anthro takeover, things have gone right and wrong on both sides. Emma, Cody, Eric, and many more human and engine survivors have fought to escape to a safe haven within the Biltmore estate and village in North Carolina. However, with tension between new and old faces slowly arising, everyone will inevitably have to face the war in order to survive, or at least make it out while staying themselves, physically and mentally. Meanwhile, on the opposite side, June and her friends and family just fighting to stay alive slowly begin to realize they're more important than they think. As not long after, they're forced back into battle to help continue their part in bringing about the end of the human race. However, many don't realize at first that they have more in common than they think. All they know is that many of those they've been acquainted with will likely make it out alive or as themselves. Now it's up to them to partner with their new and old friends and equate one another as allies against powerful forces in order to protect themselves, and all they ever cared about before it's too late. Inspired by the works of: TidmouthThunderbolt/_Frogz Shanks Sodor Fallout Studios Lucat_here ChloeTgTf Truck_of_Tar ThomasProductions2019 Tines Sensathe PATBP The Duffer Brothers (And many more YouTube and Wattpad creators, this list is longer than I remember and I don't want to let it take up the description, please forgive me I ran out of allowed characters) Warning: This story contains mature themes such as swearing, death, themes of war, gore depictions, highly racist actions and symbolism, and more. I recommend you be 13 years or older to read this story. ALSO, DO NOT STEAL ANY OF THE OC CHARACTERS (but I do confess that there are some characters that I don't own and I'd like to apologize to those owners that I didn't credit you all😬). Enjoy the third part of the ROTPOTA series!

105 parts Complete
[Book 1 of the ARC10 Trilogy] **Winner of the 2017 Watty Storysmith award** The President created an underground safe-haven for the survivors of the alien invasion. He built it to save them all from total annihilation. He protects them, feeds them, keeps them under his ever-watchful gaze so they can live. All he asks is that they obey. Captain Janika Lorn doesn't want to obey. Not if it means spreading her legs and contributing to the President's precious eugenics program. As a perfect candidate for the Human Hope Project, she is obligated by law to make more citizens for the dying society. But all she wants is her freedom to fight the Invaders and protect the people who already exist. If the mandated program wasn't bad enough, the worst part is trying to fulfill it with Captain Dean Freyer, her scientifically matched partner and best friend of sixteen years. Just as Captain Lorn is about to succumb to her fate, another opportunity arises. A mysterious commanding officer asks her to lead a human refugee ship--to save humanity by evacuating the destroyed Earth and shuttling the remaining population to a new habitable exoplanet 400 light years away. The mission is perilous. Especially because now, standing between her and her freedom is the hostile alien hosts of her ship, the ARC10, a sister returned from the dead, an array of impossibly confusing alien tech, a rekindled heat between her and Dean, and a sexy militia chief she can't seem to keep her hands off of. ARC10 is a romance-heavy sci-fi with the speculative horror of Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale and the military action of Battle: Los Angeles. Cover art by @FayLane Copyright © 2016 by LL Montez

28 parts Complete

The year is 2043 and the nations of the world find themselves almost powerless against an unknown enemy known as Unknown Entities, or U.N.E.'s. The Worlds best weapon against these hideous creatures from space are the giant Mech's and their pilots who stand on the front lines and fight a never ending stream of U.N.E.'s to protect their lands, nations, and friends from harm. Two young pilots from very different worlds come together at a secret weapons facility as the next generation of Mech's are ready to hit the front line. One is a young British pilot born and raised in combat who is haunted by horrible memories, while the other is an American pilot who has never seen combat but has never found anything or anyone that can best her. Can these two young officers set aside their differences and pride and do what needs to be done? Or will they falter when it matters most?
