"Let's be honest, you're the Devil's daughter. Say hey to your father." History always has a way to repeat itself. At least, that's what Albus Dumbledore thought when he met Desdemona Jones at Wool's Orphanage in 1989. Desdemona, or Dez as she likes to be called, radiated a dark aura of powerful magic. A power that Dumbledore had recognized when he first entered the very same orphanage back in 1938. Dumbledore had to make a decision, and he had to make it quick. He chose what he thought was best for the wizarding world and told Dez that he made a mistake, and left the orphanage, without telling her who she truly was. Dumbledore returns to the orphanage 5 years later, after realizing perhaps the only person who can truly bring down the Dark Lord, is his own flesh and blood. Dez arrives at Hogwarts and struggles to fit in until she meets the Weasley Twins. She eventually develops feelings for Fred Weasley, but once her secret is revealed, she fears he will not want to be with her because of who she is, along with struggling with her own identity and self loathing. Does love truly conquer all? ***I do not own J.K. Rowling's characters, story lines or Hogwarts. This story is a product of my own imagination.
