My dad used to tell me to own the bridge. To stand tall, be front and center, and pretend you're confident even when you're not. This poetry collection is me owning my bridge. This collection begins with The River, which is about dreams and development throughout life. It focuses on nostalgia and change, how one grows and therefore their dreams change and grow with them. It's about looking back and recognizing things as they were and being happy about them while also welcoming the inevitable ebb and flow of life and letting it take us where it will, the way water does.
