I raced to a nearby cafe, sighing as I opened the door. The smell of fresh handmade sandwichs hit my nose. I smiled. This was going to be the best part of my day and I was going to enjoy it. I downloaded some television shows to watch while I waited in line. I bumped into a chisled back as I tried shuffling in the line. He had jet black, slicked back, shoulder length hair, and a tight, black v-neck shirt, black slacks and a wonderful smell that almost made me drop my phone. He turned around. "I'm so sorry. I- I'm such a clutz. I, um-" I muttered, noticing it was the guy who darted in front of traffic this morning when I looked at his face. "That you are." He smiled warmly at me, his eyes were deep brown defined by the most adorable crows feet I've ever seen in my life. When I heard his sharp accent, I got goosebumps. What's coming over me. Oh my Lord! He extended his hand out to me. "I am David Le Carte, the 'dumbass' from earlier." I hesistantly put my hand in his and watched him bring it to his lips. My heart jumped. I didn't know what to say. "I'm sorry-again. I was in a rush." I scrunched my lips awkwardly, pulled my hand away, and moved up in line. "My name is Jennifer Loane."
