Millennia ago, powerful creatures roamed the Earth, before the dawn of time itself. Monsters, demons, cryptids, call them what you will. Mankind feared them, hiding in their caves and praying to whatever god they believed in, praying that they would not be these creatures' next meal. But as time went on, their numbers fell and ours rose. These once-dominant creatures became nothing more than myths and legends, mankind's very real fear of them becoming nothing but a distant memory. Yet, they still walk the Earth in secret, hiding away from those who once feared them. Occasionally they still prey on some unlucky few. The Cryptid Intervention and Response Unit was founded to handle these threats. Working in the shadows, CITRON operates in complete secrecy, waging a secret war against these monsters so that humanity would not have to go back to cowering in fear. Those chosen to become agents are the elite, selected from the best the world has to offer. Military, scientists, even those lucky enough to survive an encounter. When a team dispatched to investigate a suspected murder by a rogue werewolf uncovers a sinister plot, CITRON finds itself trying to prevent a war between werewolves and vampires, with thousands of lives caught in between. With full moon only weeks away, CITRON finds that it is not the only organisation partaking in the conflict.
