Struggling to cope with paying for college, Daniela James reluctantly decides to spend the summer in the Hill Estate, the lonely old mansion she inherited from her grandfather. The estate has lain empty since the alleged murders of its previous owners, over a century ago and is believed, by the few who know of its existence, to be haunted. The exception is Daniela who, after some rough patches in her childhood, has given up on superstition and gut reactions. During her stay however, Daniela will come to realize that some superstitions are not unfounded, and that the house's reputation is not all that is fearsome about it.
My attempt at a classic ghost story. This is an homage to Susan Hill's The Woman in Black, but is by no means a copy of that work. All Rights Reserved
