There are a few things about Lakemoore that everyone knows. Number 1, nothing bad ever happens here. I mean, nothing; Lakemoore is a quiet town. A few coffee shops, book stores, 1 Starbucks and a diner called Mama's. Of course, Lakemoore High is here too. Number 2, it's the perfect place to raise kids, mainly because nothing bad ever happens. Number 3, Mama's is open 24/7. Thats why its the main place the teenagers from Lakemoore High hang out. And Mama's is where this story begins. No, it's not my story; this is the story of Lena Michelson and the evening of June 22nd. This date, unbeknown to us all, would become a very important date in all our lives. June 22nd is the date Lena Michelson went missing. At 6.23pm on June 22nd, Lena Michelson arrived at Mama's. She ordered a vanilla milkshake and a plate of onion rings, I know this because I was in the booth behind her. She got out her history book and started going through her notes. She spent an hour and 45 minutes there, occasionally nibbling on an onion ring or taking a sip of her milkshake. When she left, the bell to Mama's rang throughout the diner like an echo. And that, was the last time anyone saw Lena Michelson.
