I smirked looking back up to the front of the class and saw light starring out the window too. "Heh, this shall be fun," I said looking to the side "Don't you think so King-San~?" "Fun indeed," he smirks. Just as the bell rings Light leaps out of his seat and out the door, "Come on let's follow him," I pick up my bag and sling it over my shoulder and follow him to the courtyard making sure to stay a few passes behind him. He stops in front of the book and looks to his right than to his left but not behind him, and picks up the book and opens the front cover, where he should uncover the rules if it's the same as mine. I smirk and turn around and start to walk home, "Looks like little light found a new toy."

You the reader have to choose where your loyalties lie. Will you stand by your childhood best friend, who is now on the path to becoming the greatest detective in the world? Or will you side with your new best friend, the super genius mass murderer he is investigating? if you wanted to self insert yourself into the plot of deathnote then I definitely think you should read this. mostly the same plot just following your point of view of getting pulled into the mix of everything. Triggers so far: bad grammer, swearing, A/N: Rewriten chapters 1-5 so expect much better writing,(thanks Grammarly) and better understanding of the story. Also expect those chapters to be much shorter than newer chapters since that was my writing style at the time.

Rewriting this atm ! I do not own the Death note! Also this is my first fanfiction, so it'll probably be cringe, and feel free to correct my grammar mistakes, English is my third language not first after all. Y/n was raised in Wammys orphanage, she was there since she was 6 One day when she was 11 new boy came to the orphanage. They slowly became friends, and get really close, but what will happen when one day the boy (L) disappears? How will they connect in the future? How will she end up in the end? Will she end up with smart detective or charismatic Light? Or no one?

I hate the ending of Death Note (Anime Version) so I want to make it better. Light and I will be together forever.
