My sister, friend and I had planned a road trip around america and Canada in my friends land rover. We had everything planned out to the last detail and were set to leave on Wednesday. We had all just finished college and sixth form and had been planning his trip since the summer we finished year 11. TWO YEARS. Well actually longer if you count all the times we planned at sleepover places we wanted to go and all that. The road trip was essentially planning for the shop we were opening after university in three years or so. That had been in the planning for even longer! Year 9...five years or so.... But all that plan had been blown into ashes by my mother who had decided that she no longer wanted / trusted us on this trip... So shes sent us to meet two guys she apparently trusted on Tuesday at a local café at this place called the spit.
