After a long, brutal summer of fighting the evil forces, the Dragonets of Destiny, the Jade Winglet, the Pantala Squad, and all of their friends face their biggest challenge yet: going back to school. In this humorous tale of chronicling the adventures of school, all of your favorite Wings of Fire characters make friendships, lovers, and a nice sense of community. But something evil, much darker than the challenges they have all faced combined, lurks, waiting. What will happen to them? What will they learn? And most importantly, will they all survive? All characters belong to Tui T. Sutherland.

*This takes place after the end of the third arc* Everyone has gone their separate ways. The Jade Winglet has long since been abandoned, but there's someone stirring in the shadows who doesn't seem to think so. After all, you can't just forget a bond like that so quickly. And Vulture seems to agree that they still care about each other enough for him to make a move. As in, capturing Turtle, Tamarin, Swordtail, Cricket, and Willow. It's their second year back at Jade Mountain Academy for Moon, Peril, Turtle, Kinkajou, Qibli and Winter. Moon is looking forwards to seeing her boyfriend Qibli again, Peril can't wait to see Clay, the cute Care of Magical Creatures and gamekeeper again, Turtle is looking forward to a year without any prophecies or giant super dragons rising out of the mountains, Kinkajou really wants to see her friends again, especially Turtle, her boyfriend; Qibli wants to see Moon again, and Winter hopes to find some love. Meanwhile, it's Cricket, Blue, Luna, Sundew and Willow's first year. Cricket hopes to find some big scientific discoveries, Luna is excited to go to the same school as Swordtail, Blue hopes for a quiet school year, Sundew totally did not want to go, especially with her mother Belladonna as a teacher there, and Willow wants to make some new friends. When two groups of famous dragonets meet, and evil appears, the school year turns out anything but peaceful. I do not own Wings of Fire or Harry Potter. The cover is just a random picture I found on Canva.

So, apparently Pyrrhian dragons and Pantalan dragons aren't so different. They decide to play the same game (as if they didn't already have enough torture with that prophecy). So, you ask/dare us. And we do it. These characters belong to Tui T Sutherland.

This is a crossover fic with Upside-Down Magic, but if you don't read the series, you can just pretend this is a magical AU. Here I have each of the WoF characters as a Fluxer, a Fuzzy, a Flicker, a Flare or a Flyer. Fluxers can turn into animals. Fuzzies can communicate with animals. Flickers can turn themselves or others invisible. Flares can shoot fire from their fingertips. And Flyers can, well, fly. But not all magic fits under the five Fs perfectly. I was bored and had this idea of were wings or fire ships like winterwatcher or glorybringer are dragons! For example, imagine a nightwing rainwing hyrid named glorybringer!

Growing up in the hives, Cricket has always had a million questions. Why are trees forbidden, even in art? Why do her parents seem to hate her? And the biggest, most dangerous and secret question of all: why is Cricket immune to Queen Wasp's powers? Whenever the queen takes control of all the HiveWings, speaking through their mouths and seeing through their eyes, Cricket has to hide, terrified of being discovered. Now she's hiding again, wanted for stealing the Book of Clearsight along with her new SilkWing friends, Blue and Swordtail, and the fierce LeafWing, Sundew. The fugitives need answers, and fast, in order to prevent a LeafWing attack. But Cricket has more questions than ever. How can she stay hidden and discover the queen's deadliest secret? And if she does succeed - can a powerless dragonet really do anything to topple a regime and stop a war?
