As an Omega, the lowest-rank werewolf in any pack, Claire is confident her smoking hot Alpha can't be her mate. But she's wrong -- not just about him, but also about her place in the werewolf world. ***** Adopted into a family of Omegas, the lowest-ranking werewolves in the Mistwood Valley pack, eighteen-year-old Claire Masters is more concerned with her schoolwork and her adorable little brother than pandering to pack politics. But when Nathanial Groves, the pack's inescapably attractive Alpha, steps into her life, her entire world is thrown into disarray. Because Claire can't help feeling drawn to him -- irresistibly so -- and it's distracting her from the growing danger looming over her town and her family. A mate is the last thing she has time for, but can Nate be ignored? [[word count: 70,000-80,000 words]] - Son of 'Twas Brillig Complete

As part of my book, "Lydia: Lord Lyndsay's Inheritance". Lydia gets a Christmas present of the complete Sonnets by William Shakespeare. So I thought that I'd better read some of them as they might feature later in the story / book. Then I thought "Well, if Shakespeare can write Sonnets, then so can I." Here they are, one by one. I have written them using that old form of Old English speaking. I hope that you like them. Please do comment and if you truly like them, then you can give me a star or follow me. The front cover picture I did myself. I took the photograph whilst on holiday in Austria, Zell am Zee. This photo is the lake above a gorge near the small town of Kaprun, Austria. - A Pocketful Of Poetry Just For You [ON HOLD] Ongoing

Grab a cup of tea or your favorite beverage and enjoy some poetry. Some will be from me, while others are already in existence. I will give credit where credit is due. I may also put some quotes in here, rather than my viewer book. Please enjoy the thing that mostly happens in my brain at night. Other than the dark demons that keep me up that is. - notable Ongoing

*Introduction to Shakespeare's Sonnets* The Sonnets are Shakespeare's most popular works, and a few of them, such as Sonnet 18 (Shall I compare thee to a summer's day), Sonnet 116 (Let me not to the marriage of true minds), and Sonnet 73 (That time of year thou mayst in me behold), have become the most widely-read poems in all of English literature. *Composition Date of the Sonnets* Shakespeare wrote 154 sonnets, likely composed over an extended period from 1592 to 1598, the year in which Francis Meres referred to Shakespeare's "sugred sonnets": The witty soul of Ovid lives in mellifluous & honey-tongued Shakespeare, witness his Venus and Adonis, his Lucrece, his sugared sonnets among his private friends, &c. (Palladis Tamia: Wit's Treasury) In 1609 Thomas Thorpe published Shakespeare's sonnets, no doubt without the author's permission, in quarto format, along with Shakespeare's long poem, The Passionate Pilgrim. The sonnets were dedicated to a W. H., whose identity remains a mystery, although William Herbert, the Earl of Pembroke, is frequently suggested because Shakespeare's First Folio (1623) was also dedicated to him.
