I'm an alien By: Belladonna I was an Alien until he came along, He showed me happiness. He saw me hiding from those bullies, He took my hand, and showed me love. I was an Alien from Space until he loved me. I left Earth many years ago, Bigotry was at an all time high. Being gay meant torture and death, For my lover died at my feet. I left Earth through powers that I had, And now as I hover over this planet; I notice that it looks like Earth, Scanning it reveals that Same-sex love is EQUAL here; I fall to this planet. I arrive on the surface by a falling star, I call myself Belladonna, and I am an Alien. Walking round learned that this place was a counter to my earth, But there were still bullies here. Enrolling in College here, I grew to love my planet; Even though I'm an Alien I have learned a lot and seen a lot One day bullies happen upon me, And I fight, and use my gifts as an alien But they keep coming, until One by one they are all thrown away. And he was standing there in front of me He holds out his hand. And says "Come with me." Together we walk pass the bullies. And we talk and learn that he accepts me being an alien. As we look at the night sky I see the stars that remind me home. But when I look into his eyes, I can see that my home is with him. I was once an Alien, but when he found me, I found my heart and true home.
