Internships and Hero names
The next day at school, we were listening to Mr. Aizawa talking about our performances at the sports festival.
"Also, you will have internships with the pro hero's that chose you from the sports festival. I will show you who has them." He stated
As he said that a small board popped up that showed who were chosen for internships. Kat and Sho had the most while I had around 370.
"I will give you a list to choose from but before that you will need to decide on your hero names. Be careful of what you choose because-"
"You might be stuck with it for a while!" Midnight finished for him.
"Me and Midnight will me judging your hero names, you will have a board and when you're ready, you will present your hero name" Aizawa said
I got the board and started thinking of a name. It was only a few minutes and he was already asking for a people to present. I heard Mina getting rejected which made the class tense. After that, Tsu went up and said "Froppy". Midnight loved ti and that lifted everybody's spirits up so I decided to ignore the noise and try to think of a name.
"Akira, are you ready?"
I jumped at Aizawa's voice and shook my head no. He continued on while I racked my brain for a hero name.
I saw Kat going up to present and I looked up to hear what he was going to say
"King Explosion Murder" he said while holding up the board
While Midnight declined his name, I mentally slapped myself due to his lack of finding a good name and just tried to find a decent name.
And then an idea popped up
"I'm ready!" I said as I walked up to say my name
"My name will be Supernova"
"Why the name if I may ask?" Midnight asled
"Because it's another word for black hole, and it kind of describes a bit of my quirk"
"I approve" Midnight and Aizawa said as I returned to my seat
After everybody finished giving their hero names, Aizawa handed out the papers for the internships, I scanned through the papers and saw some small agencies and a few big ones. There were 5 that caught my eye.
Gunhead, Mt. Lady, Hawks, Death Arms and
Endeavor?
"You have until tomorrow to fill out where you are going." Aizawa said
I started to think of the pros and cons of going to each agency. I overheard Mineta saying that he was going to go to Mt. Lady so that's immediately off the list. Hawks is mainly airbourne so I wouldn't be able to keep up.
So that leaves Gunhead ,Death Arms, and Endeavor.
As the rest of school goes by, I kept thinking about who I was going to intern. I decided to cross out Gunhead but am still caught in between Death Arms and Endeavor.
Death Arms obviously has trained with a lot of core training and Is familiar with close range combat, which is what I mainly do. On the other hand, Endeavor has most likely more experience and could possibly teach me something or at least push me to my limits.
After class is over, I walk up to Sho and tap him on his shoulder. He turns around and lets me speak.
"Who are you going with? I'm stuck between two people" I said
"I'm going with my father, he's the most likely to know how to train me. What about you?"
"Well, i'm stuck between your father and Death arms" I said
"He wants to intern you?" He said sounding suspicious
"Yeah, I mean there are pros and cons for both heroes but I have no idea who to pick."
"Well I think that my father would probably push you to your limit and possibly give you more advice that the other since he has more experience." He said
"True, yeah. I think i'll choose you father" I said
"Well I guess i'll see you there" he said
"Yeah" I said before leaving

I texted Mom and told her that I wouldn't be home for tonight because I wanted to go to my cave. I got an idea and texted Izu to see if he wanted to sleepover or at least visit since he hasn't been there in forever

I started to walk to the forest but Kat decided to stop me and stand in front of me, blocking my way.
"I need to go somewhere" I said trying to go around him just for him to move in front of me again
"And where is that?" he said
"To spend the night with a friend"
"Who and where." He said in a dead tone
"Izu and our hangout spot" I said
He looked at me with a look of annoyance but just said "fine, but we have school tomorrow so don't be late"
"Okay" I said as started to walk past him
After I was out of his sight, I ran to the forest and saw Izu not too far ahead of me. I ran past him yelling "SLOWPOKE" as I ran to the rock. He started to pick up the pace and started to race me. Of course I got there first and I did a mini celebration in my head as I revealed the trapdoor and unlocked it with the key on my neck.
We slid down the rope and put down our things. We sat on the small beanbags and enjoyed the sunlight.
"Izu"
"Yeah?" He responded
"Can you tell me about how you got your quirk from AllMight" I asked
He nodded his head and began to tell me how AllMight came to him after the sludge incident with my brother and said that he was looking for a successor and how he trained Izu for 10 months to prepare him for the exam and to receive his quirk. He even showed me the face that AllMight made witch made me burst out in laughter.

"Sooooo, do you like anyone Aki?" Izu said trying to change the subject
"As friends?" I said trying to sound innocent
He looked at me with sly look and said
"Don't be innocent Aki, we both know you aren't~"
"W-W-well Maybe" I said looking away
He gave me 'the look'
"Don't give me that face!" I yelled at him turning red
"So who is it?" he asked teasingly
"Well-"
"Wait... Is that why Mina shouted code red? Because of this?" he said after putting the pieces together
"Um Yes?" I said looking away
"Give me a hint!" He said excitedly
"Ummm.... He is in our class"
"Uh huh"
"He doesn't like to stand out"
"Okay so that narrows it down"
"And... He has different colored eyes." I said looking away
His eyes widened in shock but then turned into a teasing face. "So it's Todoroki~" he said.
I didn't respond but my actions showed it all. He gave a a teasing look and said "so it is huh". I tried to steer the conversation away by trying to turn this back on him. "Anyone caught your eye?" I shot back.
He tried to hide his face by putting on a serious face but for a split second, his face showed that he did.
"YOU DO!"
"W-W-Wait n-no I don't!"
"Your face says otherwise so spill"
"Well, ummm...I kind of like U-Uraraka-san" he said with the face of a tomato
"Don't worry Izu, I'll be your wingwoman!" I said with confidence
"U-Uh okay" he said shyly
"Enough about this! Let's go swimming!"
"That's why you wanted me to bring extra clothes" He laughed
We went to one of the waterfalls and put our stuff down to go in. Before Izu could get in the water, I picked him up and threw him in. Sadly, he managed to grab my arm sending me with him.
We both went under the water and then came back up laughing. We had swimming races, water fights, jumping off the waterfall, and just joking around.
(Just pretend this is you and Izu and the waterfall. The waterfall is very high but there and like 2 medium sized ones right beside it. The positions from Noya and Tanaka are what you guys did in the water.)
After we finished playing in the water, it was already dark. We laughed and got out of the water and went into the cave. We changed clothes and went to the room of the cave where there were pillows and blankets and snacks for sleepovers. He grabbed his phone and put on a movie while we got in a comfy position.

As we were watching the movie, I got an idea.
"Izu"
"Yeah?" he responded
"What if I let you borrow the cave for a date or hangout with Uraraka?" I said
"Wait what?"
"I mean, this place does have a way of bringing people together, you could let her hang out or go swimming with her!" I said excitedly
"You would do that?"
"Anything to make my ship sail! Plus, what type of wingwoman would I be?" I joked
"He laughed and said "Someday Aki"
As the movie started to finish, I looked over to see that Izu was asleep. I adjusted his pillow and put the blankets over us. But before I went to sleep, I pulled out my phone and took a picture of the sleeping broccoli

I turned off my phone, tucked myself in, and thought about the internship. Was it really going to help? Would I actually learn something? I wonder if i'll fight any villains. Would I work on weapons or physical strength?
And soon enough, my thoughts started to fade away as I fell asleep and closed my eyes.
