" Thanks mama you didn't have to do all this" I looked around at my surroundings. My mommy rented out a club. To be honest it was nice i'm glad she did all this for me.
" Bitch you finally out of school it's time for us to turn da fuck up" Taylor yelled out. One thing about her is her mouth is so loud. And she always some where drinking.
" Damn bae you looking good as hell" I felt a slap to my butt I blushed already knowing who did it.

" Ya shit fat as hell for one! And i'm proud of you i'm glad to see my baby happy" Quan licked his lips, i went on my tippy toes to give him a kiss. Once our lips touched. Our mouths started going at it. While we were kissing he grabbed my neck.
" Oh hell naw get yo black ass off my daughter!" My dad quickly moved me from him. Quan smirked wiping the lip gloss off his mouth.
" Aw baby chill they are young leave them damn kids alone" my mom defended us.
" Not if his tongue was damn near down ha throat ion like dat shit" My dad mugged quan.
" Dad it's my graduation party stop tripping and let's have fun" I whined. He shot me a look.
" Naw ima kill dat quez nigga i feel like he a opp and if he hurt my daughter I'm getting otf on his ass hell i might kill his ass myself" My dad snapped. My mom quickly grabbed my dad arm.

" Louis leave them damn children alone" My mom groaned. He sucked his teeth.
" Baby I'm sorry about my dad he's always tripping" I said, quan grabbed my hand chuckling.
"Bae you straight he just being a father ian tripping off dat" Quan smiled, my eyes widened because he's always getting angry at my dad. Might a fact I'm so surprised. " Anyways do a lil twirl for me shawty"
I did a 360 spin. Everybody was saying i look good all i have on is a basic nude dress and of course my dad is the first to complain about it.

" Alright y'all it's time to get seated!" My mama called out. She actually went all out. The decorations were fire and i like how the table is set up. It's also a seating chart.
" No von i specifically told you ion want no damn purple that shit is too basic!" Kamari shouted, she wobbled to the table. My cousin is getting bigger time has flew by and she is pregnant by dayvon. He obviously has a girlfriend i think her name is Asia or something.
" Girl you better lower yo fucking tone" Von attention went to Kamari, she groaned rolling her eyes.
" Can y'all not" Kayla sighed rubbing her temples.
" These niggas argue every damn day"
" Lauren where you seated at?" Quan asked me, i looked down on the fancy card that was on the table it read my name and i also looked at the card that was next to me.

Once Quan glanced at durk card he scrunched up his face.
" Excuse me Jaquan who is durk?" I asked him confused. Quan shrugged his shoulders.
"Whoever made this seating chart messy as hell they moved me over here by India" Montrell said laughing.
" Durkio! Smurkio!" My dad yelled out. Everybody started yelling what was the hype about?
" Wassup twin nem" Durk said smiling. He was good looking fasho.
Once durk greeted everybody, he sat in the seat that was next to me. He looks so familiar. I have feeling and it feels like i know him i just can't put my finger on it.
" Congratulations lil shawty" He sat 3 stacks of money in front of me.
"Thank you but this is unnecessary" i nervously said.
" Just take it i'm proud of you" He said. I looked at him confused. I never seen him before.
" Youn remember me?"
I shook my head. " No i never seen you and i sure don't remember you" i said, he chuckled.
" Damn you just forget about a nigga i'm hurt"
" I'm sorry" i said feeling guilty. I probably hurt his feelings.
"I'm just fucking with you" He said laughing. Why is he so cute?
" Ion understand how you can forget me" Durk said looking down at the menu.
" I'm sorry but i forgot about a lot of people. I mean if we knew each other can you tell me how?"I asked him.
"We used to be best friends but our friendship ended cause of dat nigga over there" He looked over at quan. Wait something isn't adding up. How come i don't remember durk.
" I'm sorry-"
" Listen youn gotta keep apologizing i understand we all make dumb ass mistakes it really ain't ya fault" Durk looked at me, What is he talking about?
"Dese folks really got ha brainwashed" Durk mumbled to his self.

Just as i was about to say something else durk sat his hand on my thigh which made me tense up a little.
" Damn calm down lil folks ian gone hurt you" Durk chuckled. I took a deep breath before looking back at my menu. Silence had took over for us. All you could hear was my family conversations.
His hand went up my inner thigh. See he doing too much we literally just met and he touching all on me. Instead of stopping him i let him touch on me.
"Aye stinka i know you heard me bitch!"Kamari yelled from across the table.
" What did you say?" I sighed as my attention went to her.
" Code Blue" She mouthed. That's when i told durk i got to use the restroom. Kamari and i made it to the bathroom.
" What girl you interrupted me- i mean i was ordering my food" i had lied quickly so she wouldn't think of something.
" No bitch what were you and durk doing i was sitting there watching y'all!" she exclaimed. See she weird for watching me.
" Mari i think was about to do some nasty to me right in-front of quan he is bold as hell"
" Get dat dick sis" Kamari gassed up. I shook my head. I wasn't finna cheat on quan like that. Plus cheating is a sin.
" So what's going on Mari?"
" Girl i been wanting to tell you this forever... you and durk used to be best friend's. Y'all were locked in. Not until you met Jaquan. Listen Stinka quan isn't who you think he is. That nigga drugged you up he made you forget all about durk and your own family. I telling you this for yo own safety please get away from him." Kamari said. I let out a chuckle.
" Y'all really hate him that much. Jaquan isn't a bad person. Y'all barely even know him. He hasn't did anything bad to me. All he does is love me. And Kamari you're supposed to be on my side. Turns out you're just like everybody else " i said crying softly. I stepped out of the bathroom leaving her behind.
" Aye Lauren what's wrong witchu" Durk trailed behind me. Why is he messing with me? I barely even know him.
" What? Are you going to tell me to leave quan to?"
"Naw but c'mere why you crying man?" Durk questioned, his face softened.
" Because people keep bringing up this nonsense. Jaquan did not drug me so i can forget about my family. It's all a lie" i told him. Durk sighed, wiping my tears away with his thumbs.
" Lauren look at me man" Durk let out a breath. I looked at him. We both stared in each other eyes. I noticed how durk has some beautiful eyes.
" Ian gone even lie to you but it's true dat nigga did drug you. Your family wouldn't lie to you hell i wouldn't either. Everyday i regret that shit for letting you walk away. I chose somebody over you nun of dis shit would've never happened if i just chose you. All dis shit i caused it's my fault for letting that nigga drug you up. Please forgive me man it go by a day where ion think about chu" Durk told me truthfully. I sighed pecking his lips.
I don't know if he's serious not but i kind of believe him.
" I forgive you Durk but how can i believe you?"
" Stinka on my kids, might a fact on everything i love ian gone sit here and make up sum shit. It's true" Durk said. I huffed finally believing him. Even though he could be lying i still believe him.
"C'mon youn wanna miss out on ya party" Durk held my hand, i smiled kissing his cheek.
" Aye lauren what da fuck you doing? Why are you walking wit dis opp nigga" i heard behind me. I stopped in my tracks already knowing who it was. It was Jaquan. I quickly let go of durk hand. Durk clenched his jaws looking at Jaquan. Durk looked like he wanted to kill Jaquan right then and now. And Jaquan glared at me.
" On nuski nigga you da whole opp i been wanting to split yo body. Wassup watchu wanna do nigga?" Durk pulled out his gun aiming it at Jaquan. My eyes widened once i seen both of them pointing their guns at each other.
"Can y'all stop and put the guns away" i said on the verge of bursting into tears. I don't like guns at all. Everyday it's a lot of people that dies to guns. And at the age of 10 i seen my own aunt get shot. Durk face softened once he seen me crying. He even tucked his gun back into his pants.
" You ain't safe nigga" Durk mouthed to Jaquan. Quan scoffed walking away.
" Are you going to kill him?" I looked at durk. He shook his head.
" Nah ian gone kill em" Durk lied avoiding eye contact with me. I just kept my thoughts to myself cause he is lying.
" Can we just go back to the table I'm pretty sure my mom is asking where i'm at" I softly said. Durk nodded. He walked behind me for some reason. I hope he wasn't looking at my behind.
" Damn what took y'all so long? Ight twin get you sum" Von smirked. I covered my mouth gasping.
"Chill twin we wasn't onnat we just had a lil talk" Durk chuckled. Von eyed us then he started laughing. He need to worry about Mari, Asian, and them 3 kids he got. Speaking of Mari i need to apologize to her.
" Dayvon what-" I cut Kamari off by pulling her to the side.
" Look Kamari i'm sorry for snapping on you like that. I was just angry and frustrated at the time. I know you were looking out for me thanks for letting me know about Jaquan" I sighed playing with my fingers.
" Stink i understand i got to make sure you don't get caught up in no shit. I love you so much cousin i just don't want to see you hurt" Kamari smiled. " Now let's go eat i'm ready to pop this baby out"
Durk and i made eye contact. He licked his lips looking me up and down. I blushed winking at him.
" Wait Kamari i got something i want to tell you" I cleared my throat.
" Please don't tell me you're pregnant to too!" She dramatically said. Ew no i just graduated college why would i want a baby right now plus i'm a virgin.
" No silly i like durk" I said smiling. She let out a squeal jumping up and down like a little kid.
" Bitch ooouuu let me go sit down all i can tell you is to get that dick!" She skipped her pregnant self to her seat. I shook my head sitting in my chair. Durk looked up from his phone at me.
" Jesus i know i'm ugly but you don't have to look at me every damn second" i joked.
" You got jokes huh?"Durk said laughing.I nodded my head. I sat my hand on his lap. He tensed up i ain't even doing nothing.
" Damn calm down lil folks ian gone hurt you" I mocked him. He let out laugh. Removing my hand from his lap.
" I'm not even finna play witchu guh"
" I mean wasn't you about to do it earlier?" I tilted my head to the side.
"Yea i sholl was not until Kamari loud mouth ass interrupted me" He huffed looking over at Kamari. Von and Mari were going back n forth like usual. They are so toxic.
" Hey that's my cousin you gone have to hop off of her" i mugged him.
" Fuck allat i want chu to hop on me" Durk whispered in my ear. His cold breath sent shivers down my spine. I'ma tell him i like him. You do only live once.
" I like you" I blurted out only for him to hear.
" Forreal?"
" Yes i'm serious" i chuckled at him.
"C'mere lemme tell you sum real quick" He said. I hesitated at first. Cause he probably had something up his sleeve.
Durk looked at me for second then his lips crashed into mine. We started having a whole make out session.
" Awww They back at it again" My mom cooed.
" Man my child need to keep ha damn lips to her self" my dad pouted, crossing his arms.
" Fuck all dis he bout to die" Jaquan stood up pointing his gun at durk. My family gasped. Everybody looked at Jaquan shocked.
" Nigga i got my shit too" Durk chuckled. He cocked his gun aiming it at Jaquan's forehead.
" Hell naw" Von pulled out 2 guns. See i knew this was going to happen. I had a feeling.
" Damn put ya'll guns down if y'all just put em up we don't have to worry about anybody getting popped" My dad tried to reason with them.
" Y'all just don't get it Von and Durk killed my 2 lil cousins mane. Since y'all took something from me ima take sum from y'all" Jaquan said. Next thing i know i heard gunshots. Everybody got down. Durk snatched me down but it was to late. Jaquan ran out with a few other guys.
" Everybody straight good thing they ain't hit nobody" My dad blew out a sigh of relief. I groaned feeling something burning on my side and my stomach. Please don't tell me i got shot.
" Oh shit Lauren what da fuck man!" Durk hollered dropping his gun running up to me. My parents ran up to me.
"Not my daughter man we need to get you to the hospital" My dad cried out.
" Noooo not my lil cousin" Kamari cried falling on the floor she is so dramatic.
"See Durk it's yo fault only if you ain't come here"
" Ian did shit don't blame me da nigga had a gun pointing at me. He started da shit" Durk sucked his teeth.
" Welp i guess dis means war" Von crazy self said. He is so crazy.
" My lil cousin gone die all because of you niggas"
" Damn can y'all shut the fuck up" I spoke up crying. What if i do die? I looked down at the gunshot wounds. This shit burn and i'm hot. Durk picked me up bridal style. He carried me all the way to his car.
" Ima see y'all at the hospital" He told everybody. My eyes begin to get heavy.
" Fuck no open yo eyes lauren" Durk slapped me. Ouch! That shit stung. Fuck he do that for I was just playing.
"Oh my god this shit hurts" I cried out holding my side and stomach.
" Man we almost at da hospital Lauren just stay awake i don't want to lose you" Durk said.
" Since we used to be best friends Can you share a memory about us?"
" Yea i gotchu. When you were about 15 you expressed your feelings to me. At that time i was in the streets hustling and hoeing around. All i wanted was our relationship to be friend wise but instead i chose to listen to these hoes and my homeboys i did have feelings for you i just ain't want to admit em. I That day you was mad as hell especially when you caught me with my third babymama, say yo crazy ass stop fucking wit me fa a long time. I really did hurt ya feelings but after dem long ass 2 months without talking i finally realized it was time for me to stop playing games and be a man-" Durk stopped telling the story once my eyes begin to shut.
" Stinka wake yo ass up we almost their" Durk semi yelled.
" I don't think i can stay up durk" i mumbled. my vision begin to get blurry.
" I'm going to die, oh my god durk please tell my parents i love them"
" No you gone do it now stay yo ass awake i can't risk losing anybody else" I heard him say. Next thing i know i blacked out.
