By the time Gulf finished writing the last 15th episode of the series, 20 had passed since the 1st audition, it took him longer since he had to split his time between writing his second book and the scenario, he also had to assist in a 2nd audition for choosing supporting characters.
Every day was full of work but the bright author did his best enjoying what he was doing, for Gulf, this series added more colors to his life introducing him to another type of world he never knew before and he was determined to make the best of this opportunity.
Meanwhile, Mew was busy finishing his current drama and a movie to free his schedule for the upcoming series, he didn't have time at all to visit the writer since the first time they met but he never forgot about him, he even bought the famous book and started reading it during his rests, his manager was surprised seeing Mew so serious about a drama for the first time.
"I've never seen you so focused on a series before" he serving his some food
"it's rare for me to play in a series based on a book, and a real story"
"I do understand that you want to perfect your role but please take a rest and eat well too" the manager said looking worried
"I know, thank you"
"btw, starting this Wednesday, your will be free from 1 pm to 4 pm, do you want me to set you a meeting with the writer?"
"yes, I already told him that I want to meet him" the manager noticed Mew talking coldly about the author
"it seem smth happened between you two" the actor wasn't surprised, his manager was with him for 8 years after all
"yes, but don't worry about it, it won't affect my work, it's just trivial thing"
"alright, if you need anything make sure to tell me" the busy man just smiled nodded and started eating, still holding the book.

"hello" Gulf answered his phone
"I'm Mew Suppasit manager, you are the screenwriter Gulf Kanawut right?"
"yes, I'm"
"I called your editor about the meeting between both of you but he said this meeting is unofficial and a part of your personal life so he gave me your number to contact you"
"yes, I told him to do that, so Mr Suppasit is free?"
"yes, he just finished filming so he is free from 1 pm to 4 pm, will this time work for you?"
"of course, I'm not going anywhere tomorrow so he is welcome to come anytime"
"can you send me your address"
"sure I will message you my exact location"
"thank you and so for bothering you this late"
"it's no bother, you must be tired working until now, take care of your health"
"you are really nice, I hope we meet soon"
"we surely will"
The next day, Gulf was as usual sitting in front of his laptop working, he actually forgot about the actor's visit and kept concentrating on his book until he was disturbed by the doorbell, he jumped remembering Mew
"good afternoon" Mew greeted him as soon as the door was open
"hi! Please come in" he let the man into the living room, the later was little surprised not by the clean place but the half naked man
"sorry for greeting you like this, as you can tell the house is very warm so I usually stay shirtless at home" Gulf explained noticing Mew's stare
"it's fine, it's your house after all" the younger man smiled
"what would you like to drink? Juice? Coffee or Tea?"
"Tea please" Gulf walked into the kitchen preparing a tray while the older was looking around the condo, he was amazed by the hanged photographs around the place
"I took those during my trips, photography is a part of my work and those view always inspired me when writing" the older nodded returning to his place
"I hope I didn't interrupted your work"
"not at all, I can write anytime I want, I'm more worried about you, don't you work after this meeting?" Mew took a sip of the tea slowly tasting it
"yes but it's just a simple commercial about the drama I just finished so it's fine"
"I'm glad, btw, that's Earl grey tea I bought it from china, is the sweetness good for you?"
"yes, thank you, it taste different from the one that is served here in Thailand"
"yes, I noticed that when I was traveling, it also has another taste in England"
"interesting, it seem you traveled a lot" the actor simply said taking another sip
"yes, for writing I needed to have a wider view of the world, every country, city, neighborhood inspired me, making my imagination grow larger, I've been to China, Japan, France, London, Spain, Singapore, Malaysia, New York and my last was Italy"
"wow, you visited many countries, amazing!" Mew said really astonished
"I only stay at each one 4-5 days, Italy was the only exception because of the accident, I had to stay there for about 12 days"
"speaking of Italy, I finished reading your book, it's a very captivating thriller story, I understand why P' Sunan was so determined to make it into a series"
"thank you, let me go bring the pictures and then I will start telling you about what happened there in details" once Mew saw the pictures
"so this is the inspector"
"yes, he was a great man, he saved my life and many others too, he wasn't the strongest neither the smartest but his sense of justice made him do his best even though he felt scarred sometimes" Gulf who was observing Mew saw his glares and anger
"can you tell me why are you this angry?" Mew glanced up blinking
"me? Angry?"
"you see I learned how to read a person's feelings from the look into his eyes and yours shows rage and dislike toward me, I know you were acting nice all this time" the top actor was shocked, no one could even see through him before
"Tsk, you keep getting on my wrong side" the older said leaning back making Gulf taken aback by his sudden change of personality
"wha-what do you mean?"
"first you stated that my acting wasn't complete and now you say you can see through me, I'm the top most skilled actor, having a mere writer criticizing me like that makes me furious not to mention that you are younger"
"woah! Just how much arrogant and prideful you are, there is no perfect person in this world, you are indeed talented and the best actor for this role but certainly not flawless"
"no one has ever talked about my acting or even tried to give me an advice, only you who dared to tell me what I'm missing, just keep focusing on your paper world and stop pointing out on my acting" Gulf became enraged
"look here you cocky actor, I don't care about any of your work, this story is mine and I will keep telling you what you must do, you have to follow my instructions to present the character perfectly!" Gulf's face got a little redder as blood rushed up his head, his glares were like swords that Mew failed to avoid yet he also got so furious
"an elite actor like me will never listen to a stupid beginner screenwriter who knows nothing about this domain, I don't care about your character, I will do what I see fit"
"you are so conceited that makes me regret agreeing to let you take the main role, I thought we can get along when we start filming but it seem we won't, you either listen to me or I will contact the director to cancel our deal and tell him you're the reason" Gulf stated crossing his arms leaning back staring at the older man with confidence and so much seriousness
"are you threatening me right now?"
"yes, whether you like it or not, the director chose me and I will see through this series until the very end, either listening to what I say or be the reason of destroying this whole project, I don't mind if you quit being the main actor, there are many others who would love to take your place" Mew who was offended looked in dismay and hatefulness to the author who was unfazed waiting for his answer
"I won't let a fly like you to destroy my career!" he jumped yelling, Gulf also stood up facing the actor
"and I won't let a pompous smug face like you to do what he wants with MY story" a sudden silence surround the place, the only noise that could be heard was the heavy rain that started pouring some time ago, the strong water drops were hitting the window as if wanting to come inside and stop the men from fighting, accompanied was the loud booming sound of the thunder that was a little far yet roaring loudly as if the sky was angry at them.
However, this bad weather didn't faze the actor and the writer, or better say they didn't even notice it, the two men were at war stabbing each other with daggers look in their eyes, neither of them backing down not even blinking, both were enraged wanting to kick the other with the urge to grab the other by the collar and force the other to listen to him.
Things was on the verge of getting out of control as they both almost snapped, but a phone call is what stopped the battle and saved the day, it was Mew's manager who asked him to hurry and come straight to the commercial acting stage because they changed the time
Without uttering any word or looking to each other, Mew wore his coat and left slamming the door harshly behind him, Gulf fell back on the sofa trying to calm himself, wishing that the actor would quit so they won't have to meet again
'how could no one notice how arrogant he is? How could his manager bear working for him?!' Gulf thought changing his clothes after decided to go out for a walk to clear his head to be able to refocus on his book.

"Mew, how was your meeting with the author?" the manager asked while they were in the dressing room getting ready
"it was exactly as I expected" the other man looked confused noticing Mew's anger
"did you fight?"
"let's not talk about him, I want to concentrate on my work, give me the script" looking worried the manager gave him the papers, he wanted to make Mew tell him everything but he also knew that it's impossible when he is this irritated.
"there is only one reason why you fought" he suddenly said while driving Mew back home
"he must pointed out smth on your acting" he continued
"he dared and said that my acting was missing smth, that stupid writer" Mew said looked out the window
"maybe because he just didn't know you"
"he told me to do exactly what he says when filming, he even threatened me"
"what was he thinking threatening you?! He sounded so nice on the phone"
"he is the worst person I ever met"
"I do understand why you are furious but in a way it's his story that he personally experienced so maybe that's why he wants all the actors to display it like he wanted, just to make the viewers fully understand his story and in respect to the real inspector who saved his life in Italy" hearing the manager made Mew go silent
"besides he obviously knows nothing about you, he only saw you act a couple of scenes in front of him so if you show him your real skills during filming he will back down and won't bother you anymore, just fake acceptance to whatever deal he mentioned during the threat, let him blabber around for the first few scenes and then shut him with your best performance" Mew who kept listening couldn't argue at all with him, he knew that his manager was right and that's the best way to deal with the author
"alright, I will show him what real acting is, threatening me was the biggest mistake he ever did" Mew said making the driver smile
"I can't wait to see you filming the series" the manager kept encouraging Mew not knowing that he unlocked the gate to the romantic world for the actor.
