"Everything is going to be alright"

"Yes, she's back"
"Who's back?" I didn't care if they were shocked to see me here but I wanted answers, "Who's back, hyung?" I looked at the three widened eyes but the fourth pair was calm.
"Jungkook, you need to be there with her-," I cut Namoon hyung off.
"Y/N is almost on the death bed and here you are asking me to go back without the answers that you know? She has been saying that she's being hunted by a girl and seems like you know about her, Yoongi hyung," tears started flooding in my eyes as I looked at his ice-cold eyes.
"I know what I'm doing," this one sentence from him made me grab him by the collar.
"Oh my god, Jungkook!," Namjoo hyung and Hoseok hyung tried to stop me.
I know I shouldn't be throwing hands at my girlfriend's brother but he just makes it worse for me. His cold eyes and monotonic voice made me think that he knew that this was going to happen and he didn't make any effort to stop this.
"Why. Just why aren't you doing anything and just standing and watching your sister bleed to death?!" I screamed but he didn't even flinch.
"Jungkook-ssi, this is a hospital. Calm yourself," Dr. Kim warned me before turning to Yoongi hyung, "He deserves to know about that day"
I was really confused as to what they were talking about.
"Please take a seat, Jungkook," Yoongi hyung spoke but the same coldness wasn't there.
Then he told me from the start, how Y/N got her powers and why she had been having these scars on her neck and their meaning behind them. The motive of the ghost girl and how we need to end all of this by giving what she wanted.
"But she wants to kill Y/N," I looked at him with worry-filled eyes.
He shook his head no, "She won't kill her"
I was getting so confused that my mind started swirling with all the new information. I started to connect one thing to another and it all started to make sense.
How she had received those scars and why she was getting scared of living alone so she had asked me to sleep over.
"It all makes sense now," I mumbled as Yoongi hyung nodded.
"And, about her being back, she had shown up in Y/N's hospital room six years ago when she had been unconscious for days," he paused, "She showed up and warned us that she'd be back to take her blood"
"Though I wasn't inside the room, I could hear everything from outside," he finally looked at me with tears in his eyes.
This was the first time I had seen him being this fragile. I kind of felt bad for yelling at him. He knew so much and was holding the pain all inside himself and I just yelled at him like some lovesick maniac, who was trying to save his love.
"Hyung," he didn't let me finish.
"Don't be sorry, it's not your fault anyway," he smiled, "I can see how much you love her. Please keep loving her just like this. I have seen her the happiest whenever she is with you. Please keep on making her happy," he broke down, making me cry too.
"I'm going to go check up on Y/N," Dr. Kim smiled at us and left.
"Hyung, the police and the media is here," Hoseok hyung said, "They want to interrogate about the happenings"
We wiped our tears and got up. Before walking, Yoongi hyung stopped me by placing his hand on my shoulder, "Please make sure that she doesn't know anything about this"
I nodded and assured him with a smile which he returned as we walked inside the hospital building.
The police were waiting outside Y/N's room, ready to interrogate her. But we first walked into the room to see Y/N fully awake.
She looked at us and her eyes met mine as she said, "Jungkook"
Tears filled my eyes as I dashed and hugged her really tight. "What happened? Why are you crying?" she asked while I Just wiped my tears with my sleeve and kissed her forehead, "Just happy to see you, baby"
She smiled and asked the doctor, "I can go home, right? You have already done my bandages"
"Yes, you'll be discharged soon, Y/N. Just some paperwork that needs to be taken care of which you can leave it to me," he said before bowing and walking out of the room.
Someone knocked on the door and it was the police, "Ms. Min Y/N?"
"Yes, come in," Yoongi hyung said as they came in and took a seat beside her bed.
Are they going to interrogate her when she still is on the hospital bed and fully recovered?
"So, Y/N- ssi, do you remember anything about the incident that happened to you before you came here?" one of the men asked.
"Can you please come after some days? I don't feel like answering anything right now," Y/N closed her eyes as she caressed her bandaged neck.
"Oh, sure. We'll come after a week. Sorry for the disturbance," they both stood up, bowed, and left the room as Y/N sighed.
"Are you sure you are alright?" Ji-ah asked Y/N.
"Yes, I am," Y/N smiled, "I want to go home"
She seemed so calm about everything. As if she had become used to all of this. But deep down I knew that she wanted to escape everything.
Now, that I got to know why she's been having these scars and who was the person behind it, I suddenly wanted to protect her, keep her by my side all the time and watch over her.
This all made me question one thing.
Was her power a blessing or a curse to her?
It seemed like she was blessed with a curse.
