It's been a couple of weeks since encountering Reborn and we went back to our normal lives. Fate continued her training with Xanxus and I occasionally went on missions to get rid of some of my boredom. Today is different though because Timoteo asked for me to come to his office. I was really confused, but shrugged it off and went anyway. When I arrived I opened the door without knocking and came in to see Timoteo sitting at his desk like usual, except there was also someone else standing in front of it. At the sound of the door being opened the mysterious person turned around to reveal a hot woman with the most gorgeous fiery red hair and beautiful golden eyes. She also studied me, seeming to be just as confused as I am on why we're here.
"Oh Alex I want you to meet someone" He said smiling
I nodded my head keeping my eyes on the gorgeous woman in front of me.
"This is Rose or also known as Bestia (Beast) in the underground world" Timoteo said gesturing towards the red head
"Rose this Alex or also known as Scuro Cielo" He continued to introduce us
After that we remained quiet while Rose and I walked up to each other and started circling one another. Eventually we stopped and stared for a solid minute.
*Smirk*
"Names Rosiana, but I prefer Rose" She smirked while giving her hand for a handshake
In return I aslo smirked and retrieved her shake
"Alexandria, but I would have to kill you if you called me that" I warned her lightly
She just laughs off my threat and turns her attention towards Timoteo
"So why'd you call us here boss" Rose asked the question I've been dying to ask
Timoteo looks at us for a minute before nodding his head in satisfying
"I was worried at first that this idea of mine might not work, but seeing you two interact with each other cleared up my doubts" He said smiling
Rose and I looked at him confused
"What idea" I asked this time
"You two are one of the best fighters in Vongola and I've decided to make you guys join up" He announced
I was still for as second before answering
"Like..a team?" I asked making sure what I heard was right
He nods
"Exactly that. I think the two of you together will make one deadly combination. With Alex's speed and strength, and with Rose's stealth and weapon mastery" He explained
Rose was quiet for awhile before walking up to me and slinging an arm over my shoulder
"Well, what do you say partner? Up for a little mission " She asked me
I looked up at her because she towered over me quite a bit. Literally I'm like 5'2" and she's 5'9". I debated how this could work and thought that maybe with Rose I won't be as bored till Murkuro comes to Japan.
"Sure" I nod my head and smile mischievously
In return Rose smirks with a bloodthirsty look in her eyes
"You know what Rose" I said while also slinging an arm over her shoulder
"Hm?" She hummed tilting her head
"I think we're gonna be great friends" I answered with both of us walking out of the office
Her only answer was a boisterous laugh
Timeskip
Rose and I arrived at the mission location. It's an old port with containers everywhere and we were crouching on top of one out of sight. We are supposed to dispose of an information broker who has revealed info to an enemy group. I wanted to take out the leader, but I didn't want to leave Rose all alone facing a bunch of enemies. For some reason it seemed if Rose had sensed my hesitation and grabbed my shoulder. I looked up at her confused.
"I can see the look in your eyes. Go. I can handle these weaklings by myself" Se finished with a predatory smirk
I studied her for a second before sighing
"Rose I really like you right now" I answered with a smile
"I know. Im very loveable" She said with a smirk while flipping her hair over her shoulder
I just chuckled at her actions and leapt from the container and ran into the shadows disappearing. The minions saw me and were about to run after me before Rose intercepted them.
"Now now, boys~. Your opponent is little old me" She singed darkly and unsheathed a katana before charging at them
With Alex
I made it into the base and was immediately stopped by a gun pointed at me.
"Don't move if you don't want to die" He said the typical villain lines
"Seriously" I said annoyed rolling my eyes
He didn't seem to get angry and patiently waited for my decision
'Hm? He's actually smarter than the others. *Sigh* let's get this over with' I thought disappearing from his sights in seconds

He seemed alarmed but kept himself wary and waited for any slight movement. He turned and blocked a punch aimed at his throat. I didnt stop and continued punching him while he kept blocking or dodging. I was waiting for an opportunity and it finally arrived. He tripped over a pole that was on the ground and I immediately kicked him in the gut.
"Arg" He groaned in pain as he was sent flying into the wall and slid down it, leaving a dent in it.
I bent down and picked up a sharp pole and walked towards him. What I didn't expect was him to stare at me blankly and keep himself tense. He didn't show any signs of fear and didn't beg me to spare him.
'Huh. I guess the other guys I killed weren't even close to the real thing. This man seems more like someone in the mafia' I thought impressed with this guy
"Hey, tell me your name before I kill you" I told him
He kept quiet
I sighed and pulled the pole up and brought it down intending to kill him, but before it reached his heart he rolled over and avoided the hit. I stared blankly at the dent in the floor and glanced sideways at the man who was struggling to stand up. I didn't allow him and stomped my foot on his stomach. Before he could do anything else I stabbed the pole into his head.
"That was much more fun than killing weaklings!" I said excited
I looked down at my hands to find them shaking, but not from fear but from excitement.
" I want to fight stronger opponents" I declared to myself happily
I turned around and walked out of the building with a skip in my step and made my way towards Rose. The scene I walked into was dead bodies all around the place with most of their limbs dismembered from their bodies. In the middle was Rose standing while looking at the sky. She was bathed in her enemies blood and was smiling maniacally towards the sky. She seemed to sense me and tilted her head. She smirked playfully.
"You done" She asked walking my way
"Yeah, he was pretty entertaining" I shrugged
"Hm, that's good. On the other hand these guys weren't even a match" Rose pouted
"Really" I drawled
"You seemed to of had fun though~" I teased her and turned to walk away so we can leave
"Maybe" Rose smirked and followed after me
'No wonder she's called a beast' I thought looking ahead
We silently looked at each other and smiled before pumping our fist together
"We're a great team" I said happily
"Yep, we certainly are" Rose smiled

What they don't know is that their friendship will be short lived
