L: no we cant! I tried this morning, but instead of listening to me, you kissed me and then started threatening to tell people that you kissed me. You don't want to talk it out. You wanna get back together- and you don't care how it makes me feel.

She puts her hand on my shoulder.

I walk away and sit in the empty chair in the back.
If your wondering, no I did not just grow a pair. I simply remembered that if she had one more "incident" ( including a photo of her kissing a dude on school grounds) she was expelled. Take that Brittany!
After like 20 minutes, Brittany got up and sat beside me again

Teacher dude ( I forget his name): would you like to share with the class what is so important you have to disrupt my class?

The teacher walks away, clearly pissed. Whatever. Then I realized that everyone is this room still thought Brittany and I were an item and I just added to those stupid rumors that I'm some player/cheater F*ckboy who sleeps around. Damn.
When class ends, I go to hang out with Alex and Reggie before next period and I pass Mary and Brittany talking. *eyeroll*
L: hey alex!

I put my arm round his shoulder and we walk to advisory. When we get there, I sit beside him, but some girl sits between us. God save her.
Girl: hey alex...

Girl: where were you yesterday? I didn't see you in science...

The girl just moves closer to him. Wth?!? Alex looks so uncomfortable

A: what do you mean.....
Girl: do you have a girlfriend?

Girl: ok. Well then... would you wanna go to the homecoming dance with me?

Alex starts to laugh. Its a really nice laugh, so I laugh too.We laugh Until the teacher looks up at us. She's scary.

L: so are we telling people we're a couple?
A: I dunno....
L: but you told that girl to meet you at your locker?
A: oh yeah- I have a lesbian friend that covers for me when gay stuff comes up.
L: why'd i never meet her?
A: well you were always the Brittany and her friends....
L: oh... I'm sorry.
A: its ok. You can meet her tomorrow.

Time skip
A: luke? Meet Liz
Liz: hey
Luke: hi... so-
Liz: when Alex's only reason for rejecting someone is because he likes dick,he says im his over protective girlfriend. Prolly cause im the only girl who knows.

A: no. Liz goes over there and talks about how whoever asked me out should back off her man, then I walk in like nothing happened. The girl tends to run away.
Luke: and you do the same for her? So most of the school just thinks you two are together?
A: pretty much.
L: how did I not know that?
A: you're not a very observant person... besides I never had to lie about that to you
L: oh. Ok
A: its not like you ever asked me out
L: hmmm... youre right. Let's fix that. Alex Mercer, will you go to the homecoming dance with me?
A: I would love to!
I kiss him then pull back. He's so good. I want him. I want him right now. I pull him back but he pushed me off.
A: what if someone sees?

Alex pov
Luke asked me to the dance. There was no way we could go without being beaten up- multiple times. But I said yes. He makes me braver, and I'm not sure its a good thing. But I like the feeling. Then he kissed me. I loved it, and I wanted more, but I pushed him off. What if someone saw?!?
L: Let them see
why did that fill me with short-lived-bravery? ugh I hate him- one more kiss couldn't hurt though....
so I pulled him in for a kiss. I think he mighta been enjoying it a little too much though, and I started to laugh when I felt the bulge in his pants. I was probably blushing, but still.
L: hey what are you laughing at me for? YOU kissed me!
A: *too much laughter*
A: well I have to go inside soon, but the dance- we can't actually go together.
L: as dates? hell yeah we can.
A: Luke, I'm being serious. we'd prolly get beaten up or something
L: I could take 'em
A: luke!
L: Alex, we're playing the dance. we are going together no matter what.
A: oh...
now he was laughing at me.
L: speaking of which, we have practice after school.
A: ok. I'll see you then- and at lunch- and in advisor- y'know what? I'll see you later *awkward finger guns*

when Mary told me about what she saw on Monday, when Alex was supposedly sick, I swear I almost killed the both of them. you mean I was broken up with because Luke wanted to make out with his bandmate?!?! nope. so this morning, when Mary came running at me, with proof that they were dating, ( a picture of their little moment by the cafeteria) I found a NEW way to get my boyfriend back.
B: hey Luke!
L: what do you want Brittaney? say anything, you can't make me mad right now.
B: why? Dont tell me you're still on cloud nine from your little make out Sesh with the drummer.
L: what?!?!
B: I've got pictures too.
L: what do you want?....
B: come back to me, or I expose you and him as fags.
