All slept but Anika as usual was getting bored so she put on her earpods and tapped any random song.

She took out her laptop and focused on her work.
Next morning. Anika freshened up and went to kitchen. She was preparing breakfast lost in her thoughts when Shivaay came.
Shivaay: Good morning Anika
Anika(coming back): Good morning
Shivaay: let me help you
Anika: okay.
They were preparing breakfast. She again got lost. Shivaay was talking to her while she was just humming absent mindedly.

She stood up to go but Jhanvi stopped her.

After breakfast all left for their respective work/workplace. Here Anika reached her office.

She focused on her work without a break.
At evening everyone were back. All the members were sitting in the hall. While Anika was lost.

All laughed (except Anika) while Rudra made a annoyed face.

Mahir: par bade papa Oberoi office mein toh sab isse jante hai.

All noticed that she was lost.

Anika: ya why not. Kal se aa jana Rudy. But I would like to tell you. Kaam ke mamle mein main bohat strict hun koi bhi galati hui. Toh daant khani padegi.
Rudra: okay di. No problem and main try karunga ke mujhse koi galati na ho.
Anika smiled. All talked for a while. After dinner all retired to bed while Anika continued her work. Shivaay was not getting any sleep so he thought to talk to Anika. He went to her room. She was in some video call meeting.
Shivaay: Anika...
Anika(on call): just a min Mr. Shah.
Mr. Shah: ya off course
Anika(to Shivaay): haan? Kuch kaam tha?
Shivaay: nahi main toh bas aise hi

Shivaay nodded he sat on the bed. After waiting for long he slept there itself. After a while Anika's meeting was over. She shut down the laptop and turned to Shivaay only to find him sleeping. She smiled and caressed his head. Then she made him lay properly.
Anika(whispering): I am sorry. Aap mujhse baat karne aaye the aur main nahi kar pai. Kal subha karlenge.
She pecked his forehead and continued her pending work.
Next morning Shivaay woke up. Rubbing his eyes he realized that he slept in Anika's room itself

It was 7 in the morning. He went to his room to freshen up and went to kitchen. There also he didn't find her. Bhushan was going out. Shivaay stopped him.

Shivaay: Anika kahan hai?
Bhushan: Anika ma'am toh sabke liye nasta bane ke chali gai.

All had their breakfast. While all day Anika was busy so she didn't picked any calls or answered any text.
It was late at night all were having dinner.

Rudra: bhaiyaa aaj di bohat busy thi. Mujhe sikha bhi rahi thi aur ek machine ki tarah kaam kare ja rahi thi. Pata hai Bela bhabhi ne zabarjasati khana khilaya unhe.
Bela: Rudy abhi main tumhari bhabhi bani nahi hun. So call me di or just Bela
Mahir: aree bani nahi hai yoh kya hua? Rudy tu bhabhi hi bula

Om: guys hum yahan Anika di ki baat kar rahe the
Gauri: di na aisi hi hai.
Pinky: par woh ab tak aai kyu nahi?
Bela: aunty jab tak kaam khatam nahi kar leti woh nahi aane wali.

All continued their dinner but Shivaay was still worried.
After dinner it was very late so he called her. She picked after few rings.
Anika: hello. Haan Shivaay. Main aa rahi hun raste mein so abhi baat nahi kar sakti ghar pe aake baat karti hun.

He hunged the call and she appeared after sometime.
Shivaay(sarcastically): bohat jaldi aa gai
Anika: aree aap Mumbai ke traffic ko toh jante hai.
Shivaay: acha okay. Khana khaya?
Anika nodded no.
Shivaay: toh jao fresh ho jao. Main khana lagata hun.

She went to freshen up and came to have the food. Both Shivaay and Anika talked about some random stuffs.
After having dinner she again started her work.

Next morning also she went early and came late at night. This continued for more than a week. She didn't pick any calls. If she does she replies shortly or sometimes only text. From few days she didn't even come to home.

He nodded and called. Phone was picked up by the watchman.

He hunged the call.

After a while Anika came. She came and sat beside Shivaay.
Shivaay and Bela were angrily staring her. While others were also little bit angry.

Shivaay: aaj office thi kal kahan thi?

Shivaay: kya woh woh? Anika itne dinon se tum kya kar rahi ho? Subha jaldi nikal jati ho aur der raat ko aati ho. Aur pichle kuch dinon se ghar bhi nahi aai kahan thi tum?

Main kaam karti hun. Bohat kaam hai aaj kal. Mujhe bhi aap sabke saath time spend karne ka maan hota hai. Par main nahi kar paati. Cause mere business mein issuses hai. Chote mote nahi bohat bada issue hai. Aur jis tarah se aap puch rahe hai na ke main kahan thi raat bhar. Mujhe toh aisa lag raha hai. Aap puch nahi rahe. Shak kar rahe hai mujh pe.
Dadi: haaye rabba nahi Anika. Puttar teri fikar hai hume issiliye puch rahe sab. Tum aisa kuch bhi ulta sidha mat socho.
Anika: nahi sochna chahti dadi. Par mujhe lag toh yeh hi raha hai. Aur mujhe yeh issiliye lag raha hai kyu ke main bohat thak gai hun. Dimag ne kaam karna jaise chhod diya hai. Issiliye main kuch bhi sidhi tarah nahi soch sakti.
Shivaay: Anika look I am sorry. Main tumhein hurt nahi karna chahta tha
Anika: lekin aap ne kiya na? How can you think ke D mera boyfriend hai? Aap jante hai unhe? Nahi na. So please don't get into any conclusions without knowing anything.
Shivaay: okay I am sorry. Maine overreact kar diya. Par tum do teen din se ghar nahi aa rahi thi. Phone nahi utha rahi thi, message ka bhi reply nahi de rahi thi. So we were worried.
Anika: okay I agree but this is not the way to show your worries.
Jhanvi: Anika beta we are sorry. And leave all that. Agar tumhein bura na lage toh please batao. Kahan thi raat ko?
Anika: aunty main D ke ghar hi thi. He is helping me out with this problem. So main wahan jaati hun. Kaam khatam hote hote der ho jati hai issiliye D mujhe nahi jaane dete bahar akele. That's all.
Pinky: bas..... ho gayi sab ki puch tachh? Haan? Bechari bachi kitni thaki hui hai. Chal puttar tu fresh ho ja aur sab khana kha lete hai.

She went inside her room. Shivaay was feeling guilty about his behaviour with Anika so he decided to apologise after dinner.
