Today was the day we all joined the 104th training corps
We had to stand in a line
Multiple lines
I was in a different line to eren mikasa and armin
I just stood there standing tall in the uniform I was given.
The guy was asking for everyone's Names and the reason they were there but I only really listened to the names
"ANNIE LEONHART"
"CONNIE SPRINGER"
"REINER BRAUN"
"JEAN KIRSTEIN" this guy kinda looks like a horse
"KRISTA LENSS"
"ARMIN ARLERT"
"MIKASA ACKERMAN"
"EREN JEAGER"
"And you" I heard
He looked at me
"The names Levi" I mumbled
Everyone looked at me shocked
"WHAT WAS THAT CADET" the man shouted
I stayed quite.
The man shoved me to the ground
"You better speak up cadet or do you want me to just call you mute" he said
Shadis was his name
Keith shadis
Everyone looked at me.
I didn't say anything
Then he looked away
He looked towards this girl
Who was eating a potato
Shadis was even angrier at her than he was me
I didn't listen to there conversation I just heard her name
Well I think it was her name it was either
"SASHA BRAUSS"
Or potato girl I really don't know
I dusted myself off and stood up
Soon after everyone was done
We were led to a room with a bunch of different bunk beds
Soon we went outside and stood by the railings
We saw the potato girl run
I guess the guy made her do laps
"Wow I can't believe she ate a potato on the introduction" a bold guy said
"Yeah I can't believe it she must have been hungry" a guy with freckles said
"Anyway we all know where the rest are from but where are you three from" the bold one asked Me eren and mikasa
"Me I'm from the same as armin shiganshina" Eren said
"I'm from a farmland in wall maria but I moved to shiganshina with Levi and eren" mikasa said
"So that's your name mute Levi" a horse looking person said
I stayed silent
"Leave him alone horse face" Eren said
"So you and your sister moved to shiganshina Oi jeager if you and him weren't childhood friends you'd be saying the same thing" the horse face guy said.
I cringed when he said my sister
"Wait a minute if your not siblings where are you from mute oh sorry I mean Levi" He then said
Before I knew it eren punched the horse in the face
"Talk to him like that again and I will do much worse" Eren said
Eren put his hand on My shoulder
At first I felt tense but then I felt comfortable after a second
"Wait if your all from shiganshina you saw what happened that day" the bold one said
We all looked at him at the same time
"So you did" he then said
Everyone surrounded us with questions
At the end of the day while we were eating dinner
Everyone surrounded eren asking him stuff
"I heard the Titan stepped over the wall" someone said
"It's big but not that big it was pure muscle it was like skin but inside out" Eren said
He was showing off now
"To me it was just like a normal Titan there all the same" He then said
"Yeah but what did it feel like" someone said to eren
Eren dropped his spoon and put his hand to his mouth
I went over to him
I put my hand on his arm asking if he was ok
He nodded at me
"It was hard and that day I said to myself I will kill every one of them until there all gone and that's why I'll join the scouts" he said
Everyone gasped
"Your kidding right you suicidal maniac" the horse said
"What do you mean by that" Eren said
"I mean you could join the military police anything but you choose the scouts" he said.
Eren stood up
He went closer to the horse
They were about to be in a one on one fight
I was really scared
I hate when eren gets in fights
Until mikasa came and stopped it
Eren walked back over to me
He saw that he frightened me
"I'm sorry levi I know you don't like it when I get into fights" he said
I shook my head
"It's fine we're all going to be fighting soon I should get used to it" I mumbled
We looked at mikasa
We saw jean eyeing her
"I like your hair" he said
"Thanks" mikasa said expressionless
She walked over to us
"Are you alright did he hurt you" Mikasa said
"I'm fine but you didn't have to do that and also put your hair up cut it or something otherwise it's in the way" Eren said
Mikasa nodded
She then walked over to armin
"Levi are you okay here if you find it hard being a solider then you can back out I wouldn't judge you" Eren asked me
I shook my head
I was fine being a solider
I pointed at both of our chests
And then clapped my hands together
My mum used to do that to me when I thought she didn't want to do something
The horse guy came back
"Looks like you are more than just childhood friends then" he said
What
"HEY EVERYONE MUTE AND JEAGER ARE LOVERS" he shouted
"What the hell jean we're just having a conversation" Eren said
I looked straight forward at him
Soon he walked away
And then two other guys came up to us
One tall guy with brown hair named berthold and a blonde guy named Reiner
"Don't mind him he's just being an ass hole" the Reiner guy said
"Yeah what a jerk I'm berthold by the way and that's Reiner" berthold said
"I'm eren and this is..."
He was waiting for me to say something
"Levi" i mumbled
They looked at me
I looked at the food on my plate
Somehow it doubled
Eren gave me his food
I looked at him annoyed
"Eat if you need it" he said
I nodded
I started eating
Armin and mikasa came over
They saw me eating erens leftovers
Then they looked at Reiner and berthold
They all introduced themselves
"So are you also planning to join the scouts" Reiner said
I nodded
"Yeah we all vowed that we'd stay together so we'll be there no matter what" mikasa said
Reiner looked at me and mikasa
"Sorry if this sounds weird are you two twins" he said
I looked at mikasa
"Umm no but we act as siblings we're cousins my parents took Levi in when we were small and then my parents passed so erens family took us in" mikasa replied
"Wait so did your parents pass too" berthold said
I knew he wasn't trying to be rude
And eren looked frustrated
"I never knew my dad but when I was five my mother passed and then mikasa parents found me" I mumbled very quietly
"Oh sorry about that" they said
I nodded
Eren held my hand under the table because he could see I was sad Talking about the subject
"Me and Reiner have known each other for years there was an attack in our village a few years back and after that we met" berthold said
"That's nice I met eren years ago and we've been best friends since" armin said
They looked at eren
Eren nodded
Soon I finished my meal
And then we were all sent to sleep.
I had dreams that were more like nightmares
Everyone around me died and I was alone waiting to be eaten
But then I woke up
I screamed and panted
I woke up half the cadets
They all looked at me
I hid under my covers
"Hey you okay" I heard eren say
I looked at him and nodded
"I had a nightmare" I mumbled
"Yeah I could see that but just think of happy things and they'll go away like we talked about" he said
I nodded
I laid my head back on the pillow and eren stroked my hair until I fell asleep
