(Trig's Pov)
I hated every part of telling Billie to leave. But it's not safe for her to be here, and it's not safe for Enzo to be around her. I just want what's best for my son.
"hello?" I answered Claudia's call
"what the fuck is going on? why is Billie here telling me you kicked her out and are keeping enzo?"
I've never seen Claudia angry before
"because it's true" i sighed "i don't know what's wrong with Billie"
"w-what do you mean"
"she's not looking after enzo s-she's been yelling at the both of us all i have to do is say hi and it sets her off she literally doesn't give a fuck about him" i trembled "and i don't know what to do i don't know what i did wrong she won't even sleep in the same bed as me anymore"
"Trig stop" she said softly "i'm going to take her to a doctor"
"why?" i sniffled
"it's possible she could have postnatal depression, you know what that is right?"
"no"
"it's basically a depression that can happen after birth but it's mainly towards the baby and sometimes the partner too" she whispered
"so it's not my fault?"
"no it's completely normal it's actually quite common"
We spoke for a bit more and ended the call. I decided to go onto google a do a search of what this postnatal depression and once I found shit about it I was surprised with how many things it related to Billie
Maybe her love for me is still there after all
"you want some milk" i cooed to Enzo as he started to cry and fed him the bottle which he happily took
I laughed as Ghost did a bark wanting to lick Enzo's face and that's when I remembered Nitro
Enzo doesn't even know about him, well obviously, I wonder what Nitro would think of him
I carried Enzo in my arms and walked to my office where in the corner was a small table with Nitro's urn and photos
"this is my best friend" i smiled to Enzo and he made a little 'gah'
I held up a photo for him and he began tracing his finger on it before smiling
"when you're old enough i'll tell you all the stories of the adventures me and him had together" i kissed his forehead
