~~LEVI~~
I've been living at the jeagers for a week now and I have mostly stayed there
But today eren asked if me and mikasa wanted to meet his friend armin
I nodded in response to that
We all went out and we ran around for a bit
It was nice the fresh air
Being with mikasa and eren at the same time
Really it was nice
Until we got to the wall
I looked at eren wondering what he's thinking
"One day I will see the outside I want to join the scouts and see everything" he said
I whacked him on the head
He looked at me
I shook my head
"You'd never understand you haven't had to live within the walls your entire life" he said
"And living underground is better" I spoke back
Did I really just speak back
I've never really done that
"Fine I get your point... armin" he said
What
I looked behind me to see a blonde boy who's hair looked like a coconut
"Eren" the boy shouted
He came to us
"Armin your finally here these are my friends mikasa and levi" Eren said
I nodded
"Nice to meet you" mikasa said
"Like wise" armin said with a huge smile
I've never seen someone smile so large
We all talked for ages
Well they did I just listened and responded with short answers
Until we finally all had to go home
While we were walking
I realised I had given armin a note to have a quick scan through and he hasn't bring it back
I tugged on mikasa sleeve
I told her
"Go quickly and then straight back" she responded
I nodded
I ran to where we left armin
But what I found was horrific
I saw a bunch of taller boys hurting armin
I didn't know what to do
I have to do something
I went up to all of them
"What do we have here a kid one of your friends armin" one of the guys said
"Levi leave please they'll hurt you" armin said
"Levi is your name huh well why don't you run along now" one of the guys said patting my shoulder
I don't know why but I snapped when he touched me
I kicked him in the stomach then all the other guys
I kicked the repeatedly until armin made me stop
We ran
Until we lost them
"Wow where did you learn to fight like that" armin asked
I didn't learn to fight it just happened
I didn't respond
"Your not very sociable are you" he said
"No" I mumbled
"that's fine I'm not someone who talks much to other people either other than eren I usually just keep my head down and make friends with books" he said
I looked at him confused
"Books are your friends" I mumbled
"Not the actual books I'm friends with the characters in the books do you like to read" he asked
I nodded
He smiled
"What's your favourite book" he asked
"Romance novels I don't have a favourite" I mumbled
"Same but I also love adventure books I'll show you tomorrow if you want I can come round" he said
I nodded
"Do you want to be friends" he said to me
I looked at him
I gave him a small smile and nodded
"I can tell your good friend material because eren really likes you" he said
"I really like him too" I said.
He smiled
Soon armin gave me my notes
And I met back up with mikasa and eren
Eren smiled at me
"So did you find him" he asked
I nodded at him
He held me hand and we walked back home
Eren was much taller than me
So it was comforting
But in a friendly way
We all walked back to the house
"So did you enjoy today" Eren asked me
I nodded
"Yeah it was fun eren armin seems really nice" mikasa said
They looked at me
I was confused and furrowed my eyebrows
"Do you like armin" mikasa asked
I nodded
"We're friends" I mumbled
They both smiled
We got back to the jeager residence
And saw erens mum Carla jeager
"Hi how was your day did you get on well with armin" Carla asked
I nodded
She smiled
"Thats good" she then said
Mikasa then said
"He seems nice and he seems to really like reading"
That's true I like that about him
Eren tapped me
"Now you have a new best friend don't worry I won't get jealous he can be both our best friends" he said
I looked at him with love in my eyes
"But your my best friend eren" I said
He was shocked by this comment but then smiled
"You just said a full sentence no stuttering" he said
I just realised
I just done that
I was so pleased with myself
I smiled smallish
I never say full sentences and when I do speak I usually stutter
"I'm your best friend" he realised what I said
I nodded
"Why didn't you have any other friends in your old home" he then asked.
I shook my head
Many people there were rude to me because of my height and because I don't like speaking much
"Eren he was bullied by the other kids back home" mikasa whispered to him I only just heard it
He looked down and back at me
"Then I'll be honoured to be your best friend if you'll be my second" he said
"Second" I mumbled
"Yeah I can have two best friends you and armin but that doesn't make any difference if your second" he said
I smiled.
It's been awhile since I've full on smiled
It was nice
Eren made me happy
