"LOOK AT ME... you little bitch!" Joshua Uley screamed, his large hand clasping tightly around Anika's tiny chin. "Don't fucking touch her." Aubrey seethed, her sharp nails stabbing into the back of his neck.
He released his grip, pushing the girl her frail body hitting the ground with a violent thud. "I'm sorry, daddy." The child whimpered, her tiny body aching as she moved to sooth her now tend.
"Let go of me, slut." Joshua sneered, moving to his feet Aubrey's nails clawing further down his back. Aubrey stumbled back falling to the ground the momentum of his action shocking the woman.
The man turned his body beginning to shake, stepping closer to the woman. Anika inched away from the man her tiny arms pulling her as far back as fast as they could. They strident sound of bones breaking caused the young girl to wince, the sound only angering Joshua more.
Anika couldn't help but let out an ear piercings cry as her fathers clothing shredded to pieces, a menacing black wolf taking the place of where the man stood. The wolf instantly lunged forward, jaw snapping at the woman.
The small girl watched as her mother rolled on her side, a large white wolf landing in her place.
Aubrey growled, keep her body low to the ground before pouncing at the darker wolfs throat. Joshua moved quickly, using his legs to kick her, sending into a nearby tree.
"Mommy!" Anika cried, the sound of her broken voice causing the wolf to turn towards her. Joshua stalked forward, placing his large paw on the small child's chest pressing down.
"Mommy help!" The girl whimpered as the wolf dragged his claws down his paw pressing harder.Joshua watched as the girl whimpered under his paw, tears seeping down her face small face.
The wolf let out a huff before moving to enclose his jaw around the girls trachea. Anika flinch back feeling his hot breath hit her, crying out his sharp teeth began to pierce russet skin.
Aubrey shook off the pain that ran through her ribs before quickly lunging towards the male wolf.

October:
Charlie quietly ventured into the living room on his way to the kitchen, but he quickly paused at the sight of his youngest daughter on the couch a thin layer of sweat glossing over her honey skin.
"Niki." Charlie whispers, gently rubbing the raven haired girl's shoulder. "Mmm." She groans, her eyebrows scrunching slightly as her eyes flutter open.
"What are you doing down here princess?" Anika looks around at his words taking in that she is indeed not in her bedroom surrounded by her blue silk sheets but instead on the green couch in their living.
"I don't know." She shakes her head, her mind struggling to come up with how she made her way from her bedroom in the night. "I fell asleep in my bed last night." She whispers so lowly that Charlie almost misses it.
"It's okay you probably just slept walked." Charlie soothes. "From the attic?" Her voice more panicked then before. "We'll figure this out sweetie but right now you need breakfast." He quickly changes the subject.
Placing his left arm under the back of her knees, his right wrapping under her shoulders carefully lifting her up, a squeal leaving the russet skinned girls lips.
"I know how to walk dad." She giggles, resting her head against his shoulder. "You did enough walking helping find Bella yesterday." He replies, setting her on a kitchen chair.
He quickly begins taking out ingredients for breakfast, before turning on the stove. "Don't even think about it." He says sternly, as Anika moves to help him.
"Fine." The girl huffs letting her head drop against her arms on the table. Charlie chuckles before going back to making breakfast.
As Charlie began serving the food on three plates Anika stood, walking towards the stairs to wake Bella. Upon opening the girls door she couldn't help but frown at how broken the girl looked even in her sleep.
Although Anika and Bella didn't really get along the girl couldn't help but feel sorry for her "not sister" no one deserved to be left the way she was, in the woods with no protection with all the animal attacks that had been occurring lately.
The girl let out a sad sigh as she moves to sit at the edge of the bed, softly placing her hand on the girls back. "Bella it's time to get up." She whispers, slightly moving her thumb against her back.
A broke whimper left the pale girl's lips causing Anika's heart to clench slightly. "Please Bels dad will worry." She pleaded. Bella quickly turns Anika having no time to move her hand is met with the small lump that is Bella's breast as her back meets the bed.
Anika quickly moves her hand, both girls gasping in shock before their laughter fills the room. "I'm so sorry." Both girls say through laughs. Upon hearing the laughter Charlie makes his way into the room a slight smile overtaking his features at his two girls getting along.
"Oh right breakfast is ready." The tan girl gasps excitedly grasping Bella pulling her towards the kitchen. "I'm going to fall if you don't slow down." Bella chuckles, shocked by the younger girls behavior.
Over the last month the two Swan girls had grown surprisingly close which made Charlie extremely happy.
Bella didn't understand her new found comfort in the girl but she didn't want to let it go. Her heart still ached at the loss of Edward but the girl in front of her somehow made it dull without even trying.
Anika knew Bella needed someone and although they hadn't had much of a relationship before she couldn't help the sudden urge to comfort her. Wether it was so Charlie didn't have to worry so much or she just felt sorry for the girl she didn't know but she wasn't going to dwell on it.
The three began to eat in silence the ache in Bella's heart beginning to hurt more and more with ever second that's passed. She gave into her impulses her hand moving to hold the russet one that was placed carelessly on the table next to her.
Anika's eyes quickly shot towards her father as she felt the pale girls cool hand timidly place itself into her warm one. Charlie turned his eyes toward his oldest who focused her gaze on the food on her plate, before shrugging slightly.
Anika slightly squeezed Bella's hand, the girl looking up with a sad smile which the younger girl returned.
Charlie sat watching the two a large smile breaking out onto his face as he watch his two daughters finally get along.

October 31st
"Alright Isa I've given you the whole month to wallow but it's time to get up and get dressed." Anika burst through Bella's door dressed in costume.
Bella turns in her chair her heart clenching at the sight of her sisters costume. "Not funny Nik." Bella depends.
"Maybe not but it will be once you get yours on." Anika giggles mischievous. "Nope not happening." The pale girl shakes her head tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Oh it's happening." She nods back taking Bella's hand in hers pulling her up with slight force but gently non the less.
Anika quickly gets to work on getting a very reluctant Bella ready the process taking much longer due to the older girls constant protests.
"Funny right?" Anika raises her eyebrow as they both look in the large mirror that was forced on Bella's wall much to her dismay. "Funny." Bella nods biting her lip.
"We are off." Anika announces to Charlie as she pulls Bella towards the door. "Be home by twelve." Charlie says standing in-front of the two earnings pout from his youngest. "Fine you can stay at Billy's just be safe." He sighs placing a kiss on each girls head.
As the two grew closer to the Black residence Bella couldn't help the shaky breathe that left her lips. "Look Isa, I know it hurts but the longer you dwell the worse it gets, so let's have some fun and forget about them just for the night." Anika tells her squeezing her hand slightly in comfort.
"Okay." Bella nods her mood shifting slightly. The two girls quickly stepped out of the car, hurriedly making their way to the house.
"How have you not broken an ankle?" Bella questions in disbelief as Anika rushes her to towards the door, the girl just shrugging in response.
Anika softly places her hand on the doorknob stumbling forward as the handle is yanked from her grasp, her body coming into contact with a much harder; taller one. "Shit." The deep voice curses wrapping his arms around Anikas waist to stop her from falling backwards into the pale girl behind her.
"Hey Sammy." Anika chuckles placing her small hands on his broad russet shoulders to steady her feet on the ground. "Hey Anika." The older man shakes his head attempting to hold in his laughter.
"I'm letting go now." He warns slowly removing his hands from her side making sure she has enough balance to stay up. "Thank you." Anika smiles up at the man letting her hands fall from his shoulders. "Anytime, princess." Sam smiles back, making his way towards his truck.
"Okay what the fuck was that?" Lillian gawks at the door beside her fuming twin. "Nothing." Anika shrugs in response pinching her brows together frowning slightly at her friend's reaction. "That didn't seem like nothing Niki." Jacob says doing his best to keep his temper under control not wanting a repeat of the night Bella went missing.
"Yeah, it looked like you were about to jump his bones and vice versa Ani." Lily nods. "What the hell guys that's disgusting he's become like a brother to me plus he's engaged." Anika shakes her head her body relaxing slightly as she feels Bella grasp her arm.
"Fine whatever let's just go have fun." Lily sighs feeling guilty for her accusation. "Okay." Anika agrees the pressure on her chest leaving at the feeling the tension leaving the air.
The four teens make their way towards the sleek black car both twins arguing over who gets to drive it only for Anika to slap their arms before tossing the keys to Bella who gasps in surprise fumbling to catch the cold metal, her hand smacking them to the ground.
"Sorry." Bella whispers awkwardly bending to pick up the keys. "Don't worry about it, Isa." Anika smiles softly, hopping into the passenger seat. "So uhm where are we going?" Bella asks as she pushes the key into the ignition.
"Just some Halloween party this dude from mine and Lilys school is throwing." Jacob shrugs, earning an eyeroll from Lillian. "She was asking for directions, dumbass." Lily shakes her head, before guiding Bella towards the house party.
Bella gently places the car in park as she arrives at the party her eyes widening at the sight of the number of people. "It's okay Isa." Anika whispers giving the pale girls hand a small squeeze before throwing her door open.
"Lily!" A voice yells excitedly making all four of the teens snap their head into the direction of the sound. "Kimmy!" Lily cheers throwing her arms around the clearly already drunk girl. Letting go of Lillian, Kim clumsily wraps her arms around Anika, almost falling over in the process. "Hello gorgeous." Kim smiles drunkenly. "Hey." Anika giggles slowly guiding her back towards the party.
"Who did you come with pretty girl?" Anika giggles, looking around to see if anyone is trying to locate the taller girl. "I came with Jared, I'm going to go find him." The girl smiles rushing out of Anika's grasp before she can say anything else.
"So who was that." Bella asks chuckling awkwardly. "One of Lily's friends from school I met her a few weeks ago she a sweetheart." Anika answers, before pulling Bella to dance slightly nudging her towards Jacob.
Anika takes Lily's hand pulling the younger girl to dance with her, their body's moving together as they hold each other.
Anika moves her hands around her face and strait into her hair and down her breasts, her hips moving sensual unknowingly catching the attention of a certain hot headed shifter that had been sitting not far from where everyone was dancing.
"Go dance with her Paul." Kim blurts out with a giggle, after following his line of sight. "What?" Paul asks snapping out of his daze to look over at his friends imprint. "Go dance with her." She repeats, placing her hands on his back in an attempt to push him off the chair he resided in.
"She's not going to stop until you go." Jared shakes his head chuckling at his imprint. "Fine I'll try." Paul huff's standing from the chair and walking towards the two girls.
Lillian smirks at the sight of Paul walking towards them slightly stepping away from her friend , giving Paul enough room to take her place as she moves to steal Bella from her brother.
Paul carful begins to bring his hand towards the girl not wanting to startle her, she gasps slightly at the contact feeling thousands of sparks go through her at the warm hand that was now on her shoulder.
She turned her head slightly just enough to see who had touched, before beginning to move her body against him. Anika moved her hands behind wrapping her arms around the tall boys neck effectively pulling him closer.
Paul shifted his grip to her waist turning her to face him. Paul struggled to contain the shock he felt at the sight of her, she looked stunning, her eyes closed, head thrown back as she panted slightly her plump crimson lips in a pout, she was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen .
Anika's eyes fluttered open after a moment her chocolate brown eyes meeting his, her movements stopped as she looked into his eyes she couldn't explain all the emotions that ran through her or how she could see her entire future with the stranger in front of her.
Paul's center of gravity shifted, he could feel every string that once held him to the ground disappear and be replaced with steel rods connecting him to the raven haired girl that stood in front of him no longer moving against him but just staring in his eyes. He couldn't help but worry about if she felt it too.
