Sherman awakens to the rising sun and stretches rubs the sleep out his eyes.
Sherman: "What a night."
He feels something wet on his arm.
Sherman: "Oh, yuck! Seriously, Angel."
He sees her still holding onto his arm.
Sherman: "Just a little more and yes!"
Sherman whispers quietly to himself and goes to the bathroom.
Sherman: "Just one towel for her nasty drool. There. Out sight and out of mind."
He scrubs his furred arm clean and then rubs the drool off of his little sister's face.
Angel yawns and opens her eyes with curiosity.
Sherman: "Hey, Angel. How did you sleep? Huh?"
Angel: (coos)
Sherman: "Yeah, I slept well too."
Sherman: "You, however, are very sticky."
Angel: "Ahh." (coos)
Sherman then tickles her left paw.
Angel: (giggles)
Sherman: "Oh, you think that's funny, huh?"
Angel laughs again.
Sherman: "Okay, well how about this?"
He tickles her right paw, which makes her giggle again.
Sherman: "Hehe. Maybe you aren't so bad to have around."
Angel then grabs his paw and pulls it closer to her.
Sherman: "Yeah, I love you too."
Angel: (coos)
Sherman: "I guess you are going to want baby food. Right?"
Angel's stomach was growling.
Sherman: "Alright, I will get you something from the kitchen in a moment."
Sherman brushes his teeth and combs his fur-like hairdo.
Sherman: "Time to go eat."
He picks her up and carries her down to the kitchen.
Sherman: "Let's see... baby formula. Where is that stuff at? Aha! Bingo!"
Sherman: "Bon appétit."
Angel: (coos)
Sherman: "It's food. Come on little sis."
He tries feeding her the apple flavored formula, but she wasn't opening her mouth.
Sherman: "Come on, eat up."
Angel then opens her mouth and giggles after eating her first spoonful.
Sherman: "Huh... you like this?"
Angel: (giggles)
Sherman: "Okay, okay, you can eat. Big deal."
He then leaves the bowl with the spoon inside for her.
Angel: (whines)
Sherman: "What is it?"
She looks at him with hopeful eyes.
Sherman: "I am guessing you want me to stay close and feed you. Right?"
Angel nods as way of saying yes.
Sherman: "Fine, but after this... it is my turn to get something to eat."
Angel: (happily coos)
......Five minutes later......
Sherman: "Full now?"
Angel: (burps)
Sherman: "Yeesh, I will take that as a yes."
Sherman: "Now then... where are those ham slices?"
......In The Master Bedroom......
The alarm goes off and wakes Jackson.
Jackson: "Another day... another department to lead."
Taciana: (yawns)
Taciana: "Good morning, hot stuff."
Jackson: "Morning to you too."
Taciana: "Where are you going, hun?"
Jackson: "Grabbing a quick breakfast before I head off to work."
Taciana: "Jackson, can we talk?"
Jackson: "Yes, of course. Why?"
Taciana: "Well, it seems like you have been stressed lately."
Jackson: "What? No. I am not stressed."
Jackson: "Trust me beautiful, I am good."
Taciana: "Babe, your forehead is sweating a lot. Come on, it's okay to tell me."
Jackson: "Alright, maybe I am little on edge now because my marketing team is waiting on R&D to complete more solar fusion reactors by the end of this week."
Taciana: "What is the problem there?"
Jackson: "The Board wants my marketing team to put the advertisements before next Monday and it has been crazy trying to handle this on my own."
He groans tiredly.
Taciana: "Shh... Jacky, it is okay to want to relax every once in a while."
The both were silent for a moment until Taciana comes up with possible solution.
Taciana: "I know something that could help make you feel better."
Jackson: "Like what?"
Taciana: "How about a trip? We can go wherever you want."
Jackson: "I have always wanted to go to the Kingsgeo River."
Taciana: "Kingsgeo River? It's a little far babe."
Jackson: "We can make it by driving that new camper vehicle."
Taciana: "You mean the RS-CamperPro you brought last year?"
Jackson: "Yeah, why not?"
Taciana: "Hun, who's going to watch our little babies?"
Jackson: "We can take them with us."
Taciana: "Yeah, but the kids and babies in the same van?"
Jackson: "I got an idea for that too. We can stay at a hotel. There's a small town nearby."
Taciana wonders for a minute.
Taciana: "I think it sounds splendid, honey."
Jackson: "Thanks, beautiful."
Taciana: "Not a problem, my beloved dhole."
Suddenly, the sound of laughter gets their attention.
Jackson: "I guess you were right about Sherman bonding with Angel."
Taciana: "See... she was fussy until we let Sherman hold her. Besides, it is normal for baby furries to get attached to the oldest child."
Jackson: "Interesting. I will recollect that detail for later."
Taciana: "Are you hungry?"
Jackson: "Definitely."
Taciana: "Don't worry about making it babe. I'll cook this time, since you've been such a darling for handling it last time."
Jackson: "Don't forget the seven months I had breakfast set up."
Taciana: "Yes, that too baby. Come on, it's my treat."
The pair walk downstairs seeing Sherman finally eating some toast, sausage links, and cereal.
Sherman: "Oh, hey."
He says while chewing his cereal.
Angel claps and laughs at the way Sherman sounds.
Taciana: "Hehehe. Shermie, do not talk with your mouth full. You are setting a bad example."
Sherman: "Mom, prefer to be called a role model for her. Besides, I am teaching her how to burp. Haha!"
Angel: (giggles)
Taciana: "Yeah I know, but she is a little lady, and I wouldn't want her acting like that."
Sherman: "Angel watch this."
Angel watches him with wonder.
Sherman: "Where am I?"
He covers his eyes with his left paw, causing Angel to look around and sniffle.
Sherman: "Boom! Here I am."
Angel claps and laughs at his antics.
Taciana: "Aww... are you having fun with Shermie?"
Angel nods up and down.
Taciana: "Hehe. Isn't she precious Jacky?"
Jackson: "Yeah, she is a real crack up."
Then shortly afterwards, they are joined by Jackson Junior, Mallory, Zaino, and Aziza.
Jackson Junior: "Morning parental units! What is on the menu?"
Taciana: "What would you like, JJ?"
Jackson Junior: "A ham and cheese omelet."
Taciana: "You got it kiddo."
Mallory: "I want one too!"
Zaino: "Me too!"
Aziza: "Can I have pancakes?"
Taciana writes down her children's request.
Taciana: "Babe? What would you like?"
Jackson: "Ham, a protein shake, and your famous grits."
Taciana: "Okay, my famous grits it is."
Jackson: "Famous on my market."
Taciana: (smiles)
Taciana: "You'll get something later, if you check on those other babies."
Jackson: "Mmmwwah. Copy that, Tacia."
Taciana's furred cheeks turn red.
Taciana smiles at her husband as he goes into the nursery room.
Jackson notices that Zakari, Cecelia, Eliza, Joseph, and Jaronte are awake with curious eyes.
Jackson: "Hey there."
Zakari looks Jackson and innocently smiles.
Jackson: "You sleep good? Huh?"
Jackson: "Hehehe, yeah. You certainly did. You got more rest than me. Huh?"
He watches the sunrise.
Jackson: "You see that view, buddy? Someday you will be doing the same thing when you grow big and strong, just like me."
Zakari adorably coos.
......Ten minutes later......
Taciana: "Jackson, your food is ready!"
Jackson: "On my way!"
Jackson: "Back you go little guy."
Zakari: (giggles)
Jackson then joins his wife and children at the table and to eat his fill.
......Fifteen minutes later......
Jackson: "Gotta roll babe! I will see ya later after work!"
Taciana: "Drive safely sweetie!"
Jackson: "Can do!"
Jackson winks at her before leaving for work.
Taciana: (smirks)
The house phone goes off showing a familiar phone number.
Taciana: "Hello?"
Kate: "Taciana?"
Taciana: "Oh hi, Kate. How are you?"
Kate: "I am doing good. Thanks for asking. Also... congratulations! Those pictures you posted on Furbook are so adorable."
Taciana: "Thank you Kate. My six little darlings are in the nursery room napping."
Kate: "Aww! Well, tell the kids I said hi."
Taciana: "Certainly."
Kate: "So girl, when are you coming back to work?"
Taciana: "I'll be back at the office in two months."
Kate: "Oh, alright. At least, you got a long break. The new executive manager is a total diva!"
Taciana: "A new one already? What happened to Mark Silvers?"
Kate: "He retired last month and now we have his annoying daughter Pauline as the boss. Ugh! Just having her in the building has been a nightmare."
Taciana: "That bad, huh?"
Kate: "Believe me, Taciana. Take your time coming back because things are getting out of control here."
Taciana: "Hang in there, Kate. Maybe Pauline is going through something that we don't know about."
Kate: "Maybe...maybe not. We will see."
Kate: "Catch ya later!"
Taciana: "Bye."
She hangs up the phone.
Taciana: "Hehe, it's always something."
The sound of a large engine echoes from outside the mansion.
Taciana: "Ooh, kids. The bus is here. Finish up and grab your book bags, okay."
Sherman: "Sure thing, Mom."
Jackson Junior: "Got it!"
Mallory: "Already have my bag!"
Zaino: "Yes, Momma."
Aziza: "Okay, Mommy."
The kids finish their breakfast and ride the bus to school.
After everyone else left, Taciana eats her food and makes warm milk for her three-day old infants.
Taciana: "Here we go Angel. Back in comfy bed."
Angel cutely laughs.
Taciana: "I know, you are such a goofy little girl. Hehehe."
She nuzzles her and tucks her in under her small blanket.
Taciana: "Might as well clean up and pack before we leave on our trip to Kingsgeo."
......Meanwhile Tontione Enterprises......
Jackson works diligently in his office.
Jackson: "So much work left to do. At least the city is peaceful today."
Kaboom~Boom~Boom~Kaboom!
An explosion ignites a fire near the Fernside Shopping Plaza.
Jackson: "Oh dang it!"
Jackson: "Nappine!"
Nappine: "Yes, Mr. Tontione?"
Jackson: "Alert security and get everyone to safety at the ground floor!"
Nappine: "What's going on, sir?"
Jackson: "An explosion just occurred from across the street!"
Nappine: "My gosh! What is happening?"
Jackson: "I am not sure, but you need to get moving and warn the others! Something is rotten."
Nappine: "Hold on! What about you?"
Jackson: "I will be right behind you! Now go!"
Nappine heads down the vast staircase as fast as she to warn and help other employees out the building.
Jackson: "Looks like I'm wearing the suit after all."
He swiftly changes into his Shadow Dhole outfit and opens the window behind his desk.
Jackson: "Activate voice modulator!"
Suit's AI Voice: "Suit modulator activated."
He makes a daring leap out the window and uses his spirit energy levitate towards the site of the explosion.
Shadow Dhole: "Oh no."
He sees an furry assailant running away from the scene.
The Shadow Dhole flies after the saboteur and uses his energy grapple ability to hold her in place.
Assailant: "Ahh! What the heck! Aaah! Let me down!"
She struggles rapidly in his grip.
Shadow Dhole: "Who sent you to do this?"
He questions her with conviction in his voice.
Assailant: "You want information? Get it from somewhere else!"
Shadow Dhole: "That's not the answer I am looking for."
He levitates her even higher in the air.
Assailant: "I won't break."
Shadow Dhole: "Talk now! Or I drop you from a higher elevation!"
Assailant: "Go ahead! The news watching now! Go on and show them your true colors!"
The Shadow Dhole then raises her much higher.
Assailant: "Wait... what? What are you doing?"
He drops her and lets her plummet towards the ground.
Assailant: "Ahhh! My Gaahhh! Okay! Alright, I will talk! I will talk! Just don't let me die!"
Then right as she was inches from the ground, the Shadow Dhole uses his energy grapple to save her.
The furry assailant breathes heavily as she is incapacitated by his power.
Shadow Dhole: "Now let us try this again."
Shadow Dhole: "Who sent you to plant a bomb at the Fernside Shopping Plaza?"
Assailant: "It was Santo and Vakatarus. Santo made the bomb, but Vakatarus gave the order."
Shadow Dhole: "The dark spirit?"
Assailant: "Yeah, he wants to see the world collapse beneath your feet."
Her response causes Jackson to think about what Vakatarus is planning next.
Shadow Dhole: "What else is he planning?"
Assailant: "His next plan is to...."
A suppressed bullet nails her in the stomach. Hegna fell to the concrete ground and coughs up some blood.
Shadow Dhole: "Everyone get down!"
He notices a jackal furry holding a sniper rifle, smoking from a nearby rooftop as innocent furries scramble in panic.
The Coastal City Task Force survey the scene and locate the sniper's position thanks to Jackson's vision enhancer.
Shadow Dhole: "Commissoner! The building over there! A sniper! He is trying to escape!"
Commissioner Talvenger: "Operatives! Find the sniper and apprehend him! Me and Lieutenant Kamara will help the wounded."
Task Force Operative: "Yes sir! You heard him! Let's move out!"
Task Force Operative 2: "Advance on that building!"
......Meanwhile......
Jackson then places his paws above the assailant's mortal wound. They begin to glow as the bullet hole turned from critical to a healed scar.
Shadow Dhole: "That should do. No more blood is etching out."
Assailant: (coughs)
Assailant: "Why? Why did you save me? Why couldn't you just let me die?"
Shadow Dhole: "You need face the right form of justice. Besides, If I had let you die, I wouldn't be a hero at all."
Assailant: "It doesn't matter. I am dead anyways since I snitched on Vakatarus and his army. I will be hunted by them."
Shadow Dhole: "What is your name? The task force would want to know who you are so they can place you in protective custody."
Assailant: "My name is Hegna. Hegna Addington."
Shadow Dhole: "Alright Hegna, until the task force takes you in, you are with me."
Hegna: "Um... so where are we going, hero?"
Shadow Dhole: "You are going to help me to help the task force in case they haven't found sniper yet."
Hegna: "Okay but look... here's the thing. I'm a bomber for the Golden Jackals okay. I don't save other furries. I just look out for number one. Me."
Shadow Dhole: "That's what the gang life taught you, but if you try changing it for something else and fight for what is right, then you will understand the value in protecting others."
Hegna: "Whatever, just take me wherever."
The Shadow Dhole levitates into the air while holding Hegna in his arms.
Shadow Dhole: "Hold tight."
......At the Tontione household......
Taciana was finished packing and watches the news on television.
Cecelia, Joseph, Zakari, Angel, Eliza, and Jaronte were fussing for attention.
Taciana: "Shush, shh, shh, shh, shh. Settle now. That's it."
Jimmy Findello: "This is Jimmy Findello, your favorite leopard reporting live on the scene, where the vigilante Shadow Dhole has captured the culprit behind the recent bombing of Fernside Shopping Plaza. So far it seems like he and the task force are now after a shooter who attempted an assassination of the bomber. We will update you soon on how things go after we go to commercial."
A clothing commercial comes on and Taciana wonders if her husband will come back.
Taciana: "Jacky... please be okay."
Cecelia and Joseph coo out for more milk.
Taciana: "Shh... shh... don't fuss. There is plenty for all of you."
......At Tontione Enterprises......
Nappine: "Is everyone outside? Is everyone okay?"
Edwin: "Yeah, everyone made it out. What do we do now?"
Nappine: "I'll call Mr. Tontione. Let's see what he thinks."
She looks up her contact list and presses on her boss's number.
Nappine: "Hello? Mr. Tontione?"
......At the building's rooftop......
Shadow Dhole: "Excuse me. Give me a moment, Hegna."
Hegna: "Sure I will go look over there."
Jackson deactivates his voice moves out of ear shot.
Jackson: "Nappine, is everyone alright?"
Nappine: "Yes! Edwin and I are outside with everyone else. What's next?"
Jackson: "Alright, listen. The task force called me earlier and they said they are recommending that everyone may return to their usual business."
Nappine: "Oh great. Thanks for letting us know sir."
Jackson: "No problem, Nappine. Stay safe now."
Nappine: "Wait, where are you?"
Jackson: "Don't worry about me. I am on the roof. You and everyone else can return to work."
Nappine: "Oh okay. Yes, sir."
Edwin: "What did he say, Nappine?"
Nappine: "He said it's okay to back inside and to stay safe."
Edwin: "Great! Come on furries let's get back work!"
......Meanwhile......
Jackson: "Reactivate voice modulator now."
AI Voice: "Reactivated."
Shadow Dhole: "Now to find that sniper."
Shadow Dhole: "Hegna?"
Hegna: "Huh, what?"
Shadow Dhole: "You find something?"
Hegna: "I found an imprint of where he fired the rifle."
Shadow Dhole: "Hmm... if he believes his mission was a success then that means the gangs will come back looking for a body."
Hegna: "It means I still have a target on my back."
Shadow Dhole: "That's why I am leaving you with Commissioner Talvenger, seeing as how the sniper got away."
Hegna: "Did you forget what Vakatarus did with the help of my former gang and the Blackjaw Hyenas? He had half of that prison destroyed!"
Shadow Dhole: "I have not forgotten. The guards I saved said that a friend of mine, Jackson Tontione donated $500,000 dollars to fund the reconstruction of Coastal City Prison."
Hegna: "That is the furry he dreams of killing every time he is in his dormant state."
Shadow Dhole: "That won't happen."
Hegna: "How are you so sure?"
Shadow Dhole: "I just know."
He levitates himself and Hegna down to street. He then hands Hegna over to Commissioner Talvenger and his task force.
Shadow Dhole: "She is all your's commissioner."
Commissioner Talvenger: "Thank the stars for you, Shadow Dhole."
Him and his task force drive off back to headquarters.
Shadow Dhole: "Phew! I know still have a lot of holographic reports to complete. First, it is time to pay a visit to the Grand Garden Hospital."
He levitates all the way to the hospital and makes a humble request to the clerks.
Shadow Dhole: "I need a list of all the bomb victims who checked in here."
Ox Furry: "I am sorry, but that information is confidential."
Shadow Dhole: "Listen, I am the Shadow Dhole and I can heal their wounds."
Ox Furry: "Okay, but don't let anyone else know I gave you this."
She hands out a sheet of the recent check-ins for severe burns and injuries.
Shadow Dhole: "Of course."
......Two hours later......
Every furry who was injured during the explosion thanks him for his kind act.
Shadow Dhole: "You are all very welcome."
Then he finally returns to his company and finishes his shift.
......Much later on......
Taciana: "Where is that man of a dhole at?"
The bus stops near the sidewalk and Sherman, JJ, Mallory, Zaino, and Aziza walk into the mansion with their book bags.
Sherman: "Hey Mom! Are you as excited for the trip as I am?"
Taciana: "Hehe yes, I sure am kiddo!"
Sherman: "Mom, can all of our friends come with us? Please?"
Taciana: "We will see. Now go with your siblings and get packed up. Okay?"
Sherman does as she says. Then him and siblings run upstairs.
......At 10:30pm......
Jackson returns home and locks his car. Suddenly, as he opens the front doors, Taciana hugs him so tightly.
Jackson: "Well... hello to you too."
Taciana: "Jackson, baby! Thank the Vitaea, you are okay!"
She plants a few kisses on his lips.
Taciana: "I was so worried about you."
Jackson: "About what?"
Taciana: "There was a bombing at the shopping center."
She sheds several worrisome tears.
Jackson: "Hey, it was nothing I couldn't handle. Besides there is good news."
He plants a kiss on her forehead.
Jackson: "I saved a lot of lives today, including the victims from the bombing incident."
Taciana: "Yeah, at there is that. I was so proud of you that it made my heart melt."
Jackson: "Thank you, Tacci."
Taciana: "My great aunt Thalia was one of the patients you healed."
Jackson: "Oooh, so that's why she told me to send her regards to you."
Taciana: "Hehe, yes. She called me after you left the Grand Garden Hospital."
Jackson: "I even stopped the furry who caused the explosion."
Taciana: "Did you catch him?"
Jackson: "It wasn't a he, it was a she. She was shot in the stomach after I questioned her."
Taciana: "Did she..."
Jackson: "No, I healed her with my powers and she survived."
Taciana: "Oh thank goodness."
Jackson: "Sometimes I often wonder if saving the enemy is the right thing to do."
Taciana holds his both paws.
Taciana: "Honey, showing mercy is always the right thing to do, no matter how bad the individual is or otherwise. That's what makes a good hero."
Jackson: "Yeah, all right."
Taciana: "Plus, being married to a hero does have its perks."
She giggles and swoons.
Jackson: "Mmmm... keep talking."
Taciana: "I get to touch your buff physique."
Jackson: "What do I get to do, bunny bae?"
Taciana whispers in his ear.
Taciana: "You get to see all of me."
Jackson: "Maybe next time I will book a trip and treat you to something."
Taciana: "Oh really?"
Jackson: "Yeah."
Taciana: "Tell me more about it in our sleeping chambers, sugar dhole."
The pair go to the master bedroom and spice up the night with their love.
