ELLA WAS DESPERATE. She needed a new job, after being laid off. When she seen an ad for a travelling Nanny it was perfect. She contacted the number, and was quickly flying from Italy to Monaco. She didn't mind much as the man had sent her his work schedule, and she would be travelling with him around the world most weekends. Any weekends she wasn't working she had the choice to stay in Monaco or go back to Italy, she hadn't decided yet. Truthfully she hadn't thought it through, she just needed a job. And she got it.
MAX WAS STRUGGLING WITH HIS DAUGHTER. He didn't have as much time for her as he would like, and it wasn't fair for her to stay with her grandmother in the Netherlands. And so, he decided to ask for help, hire a nanny. This allowed Millie to stay in Monaco, and he'd be able to see her after work and during the week. The first applicant he got was perfect, she was open to travelling with him if needed and didn't mind moving from her home in Italy.
ELLA WAS SHOCKED WHEN SHE REALISED HER BOSS WAS MAX VERSTAPPEN. The man her entire family hated. Ella was never a huge fan of F1, but she had heard his name cursed too many times. Her understanding, was Max had flew through the past few seasons unbeatable. And Ella's Italian family didn't like that. She worried that she would subconsciously hate him, but in reality she ends up unwilling falling in love with him.
