𝑰 𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒔 𝑰 𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒑𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒚 𝒇𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒓, 𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒔𝒍𝒆𝒑𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕, 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒕 𝒐𝒏 𝒎𝒚 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝑰 𝒔𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒕 𝒐𝒇𝒇.

My hair was in a low ponytail as I wore a Star Wars tank top, ripped black jeans and heeled black boots as I wiped my eyes before my phone went off for the million time in a row.

I groaned, putting the broom on my desk walking to my phone which was on my bed as I looked at it and saw it was Stefanie.

I sighed throwing it back to my pillow which had been replaced with new ones as I was about to pick up the broom again when my phone went off again.

I gave a frustrated huffed before I picked it up and said "What Stefanie ? I don't feel like talking right now" my voice raising at the end, when I heard her groaning I asked "Stefanie are you ok ?"

She said with a small amount of strength "M-My car crashed, and my healing is slow" as I said getting my jacket on.

"Ok ok, where are you I'm on my way, hang tight ok." as I stayed on the phone with her just to make sure she didn't pass out, I knew Stefanie was a vampire and she couldn't die since she was immortal but I was still concerned.

"Do you want me to call your parents, or somebody." as I started my truck and pulled outside the driver way and started driving.

"N-No, I just need you to hurry I'm stuck." as I could hear her sniffling. "Stefanie, why where you driving in the middle of the night ?"

"Because I needed to clear my head that's all." as I sighed "I know clearing my head equals Josie's problems, we can talk about it when I get you."

Hours later, I drove my car the fog blocking most of my view once I saw Stefanie.

I parked my car immediately as I ran towards her. "Stef ! Stefanie !" as I saw her blood filled inside her mouth and her arm bone stuck out.

"How are you doing ?" I asked her, her eyes went in and out as she said "Mackenzie ? Is that you ?"

"Y-Yeah Stef, it's me."

I told her "Yeah your stuck." as she felt her seat belt around her waist and said "My seat belt is stuck, I can't get it and I can't feel my legs." as I said "It's ok, It's ok. Let me get you out ok."

I remember a trick my dad taught me.

I turned back to Stefanie before saying "Ok, put your hands on on the roof. Just like that," as she gently placed her hands on the roof. "

You ready? 1, 2, 3." as I  ejected her seat belt helping her out. "Got ya." I told her as I picked her up.

"Are you ok ? Can you stand ? Is something broken ?" as she muttered "Uh huh."

I put her down, she could barely stand as I catch her before she fell. "Stef stay with me."

"My car."  I looked over to see the car it was in alot of damage.

"Ok, ok don't worry we'll get it, I'll make sure my dad will take care of it, but you need to get back to the school your hurt."

She sighed holding her head, "Ok." as I said "Ok." as I helped her to my truck..

I looked to see Josie coming out of her room, her curled and uniform on as she locked her and Lizzie's door.

"Jo." I said to her as she turned to me. "Hope, hi." she said as we walked next to one another, her books in hand.

"I can see something is on your mind, not wanting to come off as you know stalking in all, but you seem upset."

"I'm fine Hope, don't worry." as I added "You know just with the whole Stefanie, thing I just thought you would want to talk about-"

She snapped her head towards me before saying voice raised "I'm fine !" 

Some of the light bulb burst before Josie took a breathe and looked down realizing she had grabbed my hand siphoning from me. Her eyes rose to me and her's to me before she let go.

"I'm sorry." she said as I rubbed my arm saying "Josie, I think your brewing, your upset about Stefanie."

"I'm not upset about Stefanie, me and her are just really strangers now." as she folded her arms until she huffed saying "I gave her a note, It said do you want to continue to be in a relationship with me yes or no ?"

"Simple." I joked to her as she huffed, "Sorry I didn't have enough space to write down every single thing I feel."

"Then don't. Talk to her." as she sighed and said "It's not the easy Hope, Stefanie can be very close minded when she's done something bad plus stubborn as h*ll."

"Ok, well I also know that Stefanie's family host a family get tonight ever year, maybe you should ask Stefanie if you should come, and hopefully get back to talking."

"Really ? You think her parents would be ok with it ?"

"I mean they should they are the cool ones." I said as Josie turned to me saying, "Thank you Hope." as I nodded to her sipping my drink "I got you girl." as we hugged.

She went inside to her classroom as I said "I got you girl ?" as I put my hand over my forehead walking to my class...

"Good morning." I said to him stroking his chest as he told me "Morning Sleepy Wolf."

"Last night," I said to him as he asked "Yeah what about it ?"

I rose up alittle saying "I just um wanting to say that it was really amazing Raf, I had no idea you where into that stuff but I'm glad I found out."

He held my hand saying "I like the sound of "us." I grinned fully before giving him a little peck on the lips.

I then said "We should probably go to class, we are very much late." as I rose up grabbing the extra cover wrapping it around myself as he added "We could make a excuse saying we turned."

"Yeah about that, it would only work for me because only I know how to turn on will, and not you." I said bopping his nose his forehead against mine.

I then slipped my clothes on and Rafael slipped his on to as I picked up my diamond headband.

"Come on Wolf Boy, where late." as me and Rafael rushed back to the school, we made it inside.

I gently closed the door flipping my hair holding the chest of my dress as Rafael nodded to me which mean't we where in the clear as he grabbed my hand before we heard "And where were you to ?"

We jolted seeing Dr. Saltzman. I stuttered as he crossed his arms. "From what both of your teachers told me, they didn't see you guys in class. Now at first I wanted to play it off, but then I thought about it and how both of you are horny teenagers."

Our eyes feel as he rubbed his temples before asking "Did you both use protection ?"

"Yes-" I was about to say before Raf turned to me saying "We did ?" before I nudge him clearing my throat turning to Dr. Saltzman and saying

"I was turning, I need to wolf out and got lost in thought, and Raf joined me." as we made eye contact with a awkward grin to one another.

Dr. Saltzman said "Get to class and take a shower, you both smell like perfume, cologne and oak trees." as he walked away from us.

I looked at Rafael and said "It could have been worse." as he nodded "Yeah." as he asked "Wanna shower together."

I smirked saying "Sure BF." as he laughed as we locked hands walking to his and Landon's dorm...

She was sleeping next to me, or I thought she was sleeping. I noticed she had little flying raven tattoo on her shoulder, I never noticed it before.

After a small moment, I sighed standing up as I grabbed my fallen bra putting it on sliding my underwear on aswell, I winced swore from last night.

I looked seeing my dress or what remained left of it most of it destroyed, the back zipper broken.

I then saw Taylor's bustier putting it on as a replacement bra when I heard "Going somewhere Char, Char ?" as I jumped turning to see Taylor awake leaning on my headboard, the blanket covering body.

 Her hair all over her head she looked much like me, she looked at me up and down almost happy seeing my wearing her bustier, I chuckled at that as Taylor narrowed her eyes.

"I thought you where sleep." I said detangling my hair with my fingers as she chuckled saying "I could have been, but when you first shifted in the bed, woke up."

I nodded as I added "Your breathe smells like donuts which let's me know, you went downstairs-"

"Naked." she assured me with a smirk  as my eyes went wide before she said "Clam down I could hear your mother sleeping away."

I titled my head as I finished "And got into my mom's donuts"

"I couldn't, they filled my nose when she pulled them out of the oven at 4 AM, plus she had maple bacon, can't pass up on a maple bacon donuts, if you do your insane." she said to me

Her head rested on her arm going through one of my magazine's, she said "Ooh Taylor Swift has the body of a goddess." as she ran her finger onto the page of the celebrity.

"Smoking hot." she mumbled as I pulled down a yellow square neck ruffle hem shirt with shorts and shoes.

I asked "Is this going to be our new normal, hooking up once in a while and then talking as if where friends ?"

"I thought we where friends ?" as I said "Somewhat friends, let's go with I can stand you."

"Awe now that's the sweetest thing you've said to me all day, while aside from last night." as I rolled my eyes as I straightening my hair.

Taylor asked "What where the donuts for ?"

I put my earring in before saying "It's the annual Salvatore Family BBQ Party. Stefanie's mom carried the tradition after her Aunt Jenna died. They invent all of their closet friends in order to down booze and grill steaks." 

"I could go for steaks, we should go" as I stopped putting the flatiron down before saying "To the party ?"

"Well of course as friends if you want, or is this our little us now." as she crossed her fingers.

"Not even." as I slipped my sandals on saying "Fine, but only if you behave."

"Don't worry, I won't rip someone's head off for touching the baked beans." as I rolled my eyes while she grinned as I went to make my bed up but Taylor sat on it hands crossed on her waist.

"Get up." I said to her as she got up naked of course. I looked her up and down as she saw my arm seeing my birthmark.

"I've seen this birthmark before." as she took my hand, the heat underneath her fingers set chills between my body.

I grimaced pulling my arm back before I added "Put some clothes on, I can't focus with all of that."

She chuckled went into my closet before heading to the shower to clean up.

When she came out she was wearing black pants, black booties, a rolled up sleeve denim shirt and a leather jacket,  her hair in a neat low bun.

"Again don't even." as her daylight ringed sat on her finger before she told me, "Also a blood bag would be nice, make it warm."

I rolled my eyes saying "Not your maid." about to close the door when she butted in saying "Last night tells otherwise before you did whatever I told you."

I coughed a bit as my wounds healed slowly. I could have healed faster but if I had human blood but I wasn't going to take my chances with it.

I rubbed my stomach before I heard the door open as I sat up before seeing it was Mackenzie. She folded her arms holding a water bottle in her hand.

"You look dead." she joked as I chuckled lightly. "Thanks." as she walked towards me handing me the water as I winced leaning back on her headboard.

"Are you ok ?" she asked me as I sighed saying, "There isn't much else I can do, but wait it out, I mean my wounds heal slower without human blood."

"I just thought blood was blood and you know could help either way guess I was wrong." she said arms in lap before adding "Do you feel ok enough to go to your mom's BBQ Party ?"

I meet eyes with her before saying, "I guess, I can't say no, we do it every year." as she told me, "I feel you should rest but I'm no doctor so."

She asked "By the way do you think by a slim chance that Charlotte has feelings for Taylor ?" I looked at her, "Wow, why do you ask, I mean you are the lovable virgin out of all four of us."

Her cheeks bloomed red before saying, "I'm just saying Stefanie, we both know how dangerous she is and the fact that literally is going to sacrifice you in what four days ?"

"Don't remind me." I told her taking in small sips of water as I rose up as Mackenzie rose from the bad and paced, "I mean it still doesn't make sense why out of all people she chose you."

"Because she needs my blood, I am a Petrova Doppelganger, my blood and myself is the key to breaking her curse."

"Hmm, but your a vampire and the doppelganger needs to be a human ?"

"Because Taylor is a vampire aswell, my blood's effect stays the same."

Mackenzie turned her back biting on her nails huffing, "Ugh and the fact Char has the nerve to even give her the time of day is insulting."

I rose a brow as I sat up all the way asking, "You know since we've been talking, all you talked about was Charlotte, are you sure it's Taylor who your worried about ? Or Char being with Taylor ?"

She turned to me saying "Ew, no, for god snake it's not like I'm still mad at the fact she invited her."

"I bet you she's been calling and texting you since yesterday that is how Charlotte is, all have you to do is listen."

Mackenzie sighed putting her hair behind her ear.

I went towards her as she folded her arms before I put my hand on her shoulder saying,"Hey it's ok, even if you don't wanna talk about it now, You and Charlotte have been close since the first time you guys played on the see-saws don't let this break you guys friendship."

Mackenzie chuckled at the memory and said "I remember Char was missing a tooth, and she wore a yellow dress and her nails where painted with polka dots and I was a nerd who liked star gazing and had a lisp." I smiled to

"Thanks Stef, I'm really glad to have you." Mackenzie said turning to me as I added "Hey what are best friends for ?"

I smiled flopping on her bed saying "Yep talk to the girl with relationship problems herself."

She chuckled lightly before I turned saying "I've have your uniform, plus I called Raf and me and him are going to fix your car for you."

"You have no idea how happy I am to hear that." as I got up as Mackenzie handed me the clothes as I went to her bathroom.

Mackenzie asked "How are you and Jo by the way ?"

I ran the water saying, "Um where.... not in the best place right now, she thinks I'm scared of telling her how I feel when I'm really scared of hurting her."

I got undressed running the water through my hair washing it along with myself.

"Trust me Stef you just need to come clean and be honest with her, how you feel." as I sighed saying "It's not the easy."

She told me, "I know it isn't but it won't hurt to try."

Which is when I came out, hair wavy wearing a black top with the Salvatore School logo on it along with wrap red, blue and yellow shirt with a black head band and black thigh high boots with my mom's vervain necklace and my ring.

"Wow you look great." she said with a smile as I added "Thanks Kenz, you know you don't have to drive me to school and to the party later."

"It's the least I could do for you, your car is damage pretty badly." as I got out my blood bag drinking out of it as she said "Come on plus I have school myself."

She wore a crop top with a plaid shirt and light washed rolled up jeans with sneakers her hair in a crown braid as ate her cheese, bacon and egg biscuit

She grabbed her bag saying "Let's go." as I nodded grabbing my bag with my lesbian pin on it as we both went outside as I tossed her her keys...

I was right across from Charlotte who was talking to some of the cheerleaders laughing in the back giggling aswell as Mackenzie sat in the front raising her hand answering question.

Our teacher caught Charlotte's laughter took his glasses off saying, "Miss Forbes Pearl Harbor ?"

Charlotte turned putting her hair behind her ear as she said "Oh well, Pearl Harbor it was very very dangerous." she started off as the class started to snicker behind her as Charlotte chuckled a bit until Mackenzie piped in saying "December 7, 1941."

My car was ready for my mini trip back to New Orleans the city where my family thrived. I then turned to see Taylor standing by the doorway. I jolted spitting up my drink.

I wiped my hands off on my shorts when I heard "Stefanie sweetie come help me with the prep." as I went to the other room to see my mother.

She wore a denim dress with brown heels, her hair in a tight up do as she chopped up onions.

Even now at the age she was, I could never find my mother old. She was still beautiful in every way just with some wrinkles though she used serum to hide them.

Heck my mother couldn't cook at first but had to learn when she found out she was pregnant with me and when she found out how much of a picky eater I was.

I sighed as I went over to her. "Yeah mom what do you need me to do ?" as she put the onions in a bowl and said "Get the peppers chopped please sweetie and then you can help your father cook the food."

I nodded as I cleaned the cutting board and got out red peppers and began to cut them into slices.

"So how is school going ? Tomorrow I'm going to get an update on you."

I chopped my first pepper and had a minute of silence and said "Um...Nice I guess, I mean um my grades are normal."

My mother then asked "Do I need to check them at all, because thanks to Rick I'm able to check them on my own command."

I huffed rolling my eyes as I said "I have two B, one A, and one C in Math." as my mom said "Stef honey there's nothing wrong with your grades then."

I turned with a half smirk as my mom gave one back to me, before turning back to chopping as I put them in the counter.

My mom was now making the coleslaw as she said "Stef honey come try this." as she grabbed a spoonful of coleslaw.

I went over and tried some as I chewed as my mom cleaned the side's of my mouth with the spoon a habit she had been doing since I was a newborn, my dad did it sometimes to, man they like to baby me.

"It's good, could use some more salt though." as my mom said "Right salt, I have to make a better coleslaw than your dad anyway."

I gave a small chuckle saying, "Mom is this because Uncle Jeremy like Dad's better than your's last time ?" as my mother turned pointing the spoon at me saying "We don't talk about that."

I smiled at my mom as she smiled back at me. My relationship with my mom was good, but it wasn't as strong as the one I have with my dad. My mother and me where close at first very close.

To the point she would do the regular such as make me my lunch, do my hair and teach me all about boys.

Much to want my father wanted since he said I couldn't have a boyfriend till fifty six and me since I never really liked boys in the first place, but once she found about about my sexuality she of course taught me how to take care of a woman.

But like any relationship we fell out, when I first became a vampire my dad was very supported and taught me the basic things like feasting, not to compel anyone and not to expose myself.

My mom on the other was more scare for me, fearing for the worst of what I could do not being in control and due to that I started to rebel. Of course now I kinda regret rebelling.

I rebelled in ways such as not doing my homework, I skipped cheer practice and school mostly to make out with Saige in the back of my car which got us both in trouble even more when me and Saige had sex for the first time in the back of the bus during Saige's soccer game.

Plus I skipped curfew multiply times in order to go to party, had very bad mood swings which is when I was in my phase of throwing plates and screaming at the top of the lungs at my mom.

Yeah I wasn't the best fifteen year old, so much so that my mother and me had to go to family therapy to work out our issues.

It didn't work at first for the few couple of weeks but I started to become more mature my relationship with my mom became...better.

We started to understand each other more and instead of arguing we let one another cool down before apologize.

Of course I stuck to old habits like missing curfew, drinking, swearing {though I did it not in front of my parents.

I sighed sitting on the counter as my mom said "Stef are you ok ?"

I rose my eyes at her saying "Yeah I'm fine." which is when my mom said "No your not, I know that look anyway, what's wrong." as she put the slices buns on the tray next to her.

I huffed before saying "Relationship problems." as my mom said "With Josie Saltzman right ?" as I rose my eyes as my mom who was taste testing the fruit said "Your dad tells me everything."

I gave a slit chuckle saying "Um yeah, I um feed on her accidentally." as my mom lowered her knife as I took in a deep breathe saying "And now I um don't know what to do."

My mom sighed saying "Stefanie." as she went over to me wiping her hands off, wedding ring sitting on her finger perfectly on her finger.

My eyes dropped before my mom placed her hand on my cheek saying "You are my daughter Stefanie. Me and Damon's. You have a mix of our strengths, our weakness, our demons and our angels. but you are the legacy of our family, and I know you won't let us down."

I sighed as she added "Plus I know you and Josie are deep in love, when are you going to tell her she means the world to you ?"

"Probably when the world stop giving me challenges." she smirked with a small laugh.

I gave a smirk before she said "Go give theses to your father so he can start grilling before everyone comes here." as she handed me the pan of marinated meats, vegetables and fruits.

I nodded as I jumped down grabbed the pan of food before my mom said "Um where is my good mother pep talk reward ?"

I gave a playful eye roll and went back to her kissing her cheek as she wrapped her arms around my shoulder giving me a raspberry kiss so I wouldn't pull away, knowing I hate it when she kisses me on my cheek.

"Mom !" I whined as I tried to pull away as she let me go and fixed my hair with a smile as I narrowed my eyes going outside to see my dad fixing the grill as he saw me.

"Hey Stef." he said with as slit smile as he had his apron on that read "Caution. Hot Dad." which made me roll my eyes.

"Hey Dad." I said skipping over to him. He had a side cup of Bourbon right next to him. My dad even in his 30's showed no sign of old age yet either, I mean he could still pick me up.

"Here's all the meat." as he put his gloves on before dealing with the meat as he started with the ribs and then a few seconds grabbed the sausages.

My mom sat down on the porch drinking lemonade reading a book as her and my dad used their eyebrows, whistling to flirt with each other, blowing kiss as my dad acted like he tried to grab it as he flipped the so called kiss in his hand and placed it on his lips as my mom giggled.

I gagged at the action.

I then got out my cheesy potatoes, my dad turned to me giving me a look as I said "Please." in a baby voice, I really did have him wrapped around my finger.

So I put two and two together, magic made Grace's mother a vampire but she was born a witch and a doppelganger while Grace's father was a witch {well a untapped one} and magic made him a original vampire.

I understood how Grace's the doppelganger b*tch was born. I sighed which is when I heard "Saige." as I looked up to see Josie. She wore a solid gray shirt with rhinestones on it and a denim ruffle skirt with gold sandals her hair was in a top knot.

"Hey Jo." I said giving her a hug as she gave me one back her chin resting on my shoulder for a while before pulling away. "How are you ?" she asked me as I said "Great." with a short smile adding "I mean, I'm in a relationship with a guy I like and I'm happy." as Josie's eyes dropped.

"Oh my god, Josie I'm sorry I brought up my relationship given the fact that-"

"Mine is falling apart ?" as I gave a simple nod. "I know Stefanie, and I know when she goes all scary ripper she likes to isolate, trust me it almost broke our friendship and relationship when we where younger."

"I bet it did." as I squeezed my eyes regretting saying that to, "Sorry I shouldn't be bringing up my relationship with your girlfriend."

"It's fine." she said softly as I said "Well Josie, try talking to Stefanie-"

"I hate when people keep telling me that." as I stopped myself again as she said "Sorry, it's just, talking to Stefanie doesn't work, because she doesn't talk back." her hand placed on the table as she started to siphon magic.

With that I noticed the walls of the school start to shake and with that books fell off the shelf's some catching on fire.

The nearby students rose as I flick my finger saying "Adiuuatur !" as Josie turned to me her eyes dropping.

I looked at her saying "Josie ? Do you need to release or something ?" as she shook her head saying "No no I'm fine." as I said "Josie you are far from fine, this is usually Lizzie's thing I'm shocked this is coming from you."

"Yeah because people think I'm as sweet as sugar, which I am it's just Stef makes me emotions goes off the rails, she can be so self-destructive."

"Josie that's just because Stefanie can have anger issues, believe it comes from her dad, but that doesn't mean she doesn't miss you to."

Josie sighed before I said "Hey, let's do something together to get your mid of Stefanie and to release whatever anger is boiling inside of you."

"Ok." as I nodded holding her hand and said "Decides we can have some cousin bonding."

She then said "It won't take us long to get to New Orleans, with some small pit stops will be there in no time."

I nodded to her as I asked "What are you going to when Taylor is daggered ?"

She turned to me as I said "I mean are you going to stay in Mystic Falls, Are you going to move ? What exactly is your life outside of being Taylor's right hand ?"

She sighed saying, "I don't have one."

She squeezed her lips together before adding "All my life I've been with Taylor, I've never had a life outside of her, sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I didn't bump into her in our village."

She then turned to me saying "Maybe when I do dagger Taylor, I'll start a new life with a husband or wife, Who love me, who would take care of me and worship me."

For once I could see things from Grace's side and really I felt sorry for her.

To have your whole life revolve around a sycophantic Salvatore never being able to find happiness of your own.

"What about you Ezra ? As soon as you do the ritual you don't own Taylor anything."

I sighed while taking a sip of water as I said "Well, I want to finish school get into a great collage and I want to become travel the world live you know have fun, I mean what's the point of living if your not going to live."

I smirked watching her go outside on her phone to her truck. I narrowed my eyes.

She looked up at me.

I walked over to her we where face to face as I said "Now, as I can clearly see you have been talking to Ezra lately and due to the fact that I know for sure you hate her, I know something is off."

I then took the nice little dagger that was inside her bag and pressed it to her neck.

I added "So either you tell me what the h*ll is going on or I can simply poke this nice little dagger inside you throat and have you flow out like a water fountain."

Mackenzie looked me up and down and said "I don't know anything ok ? If I did know something I surely wouldn't tell you anything."

"Still stubborn I see." she told me which is when she opened the door to her truck as I asked "So where are you going ?"

"Nowhere." she told me which is when I walked away to my car saying "Okay. See you at Elena's Barbecue."

She turned to me and asked "How do you know about Miss Gilbert's Barbecue ?"

"Well duh who do you think told me ?" as Mackenzie blew her cheeks out saying "Charlotte of course."

I sighed which is when Saige aimed her bo staff at me swinging as I did my best to catch up with her.

She then by accident hit me in the face. I feel down on the ground as Saige said "Jo, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to aim that at you."

I huffed my chest falling up and down as I slammed the bo down yelling "Ascendo !" with that Saige went flying back as she landed on her back with a thud with a small groan.

"Saige !" I yelled to her rushing over to see if she was ok as she held her side rubbing it. "Are you ok ?" I asked her.

She said "I'm fine, It's just sore." as I helped her up. "Seems like fighting isn't going to help your anger, I'm sorry Jo." as I said "It's ok Saige, really you've been a big help for trying."

"I still wanna help but maybe just focusing on yourself is the best for you."

"I wonder if that really is the best thing," I took her hand again saying "Let's get to the party, I think I understand what me and Stefanie need now thanks to you."

Saige smiled saying "Wow, I feel special." she said as I smirked with a laugh as we saw Rafael.

Ezra had her bag over her shoulder before saying, "I can sense another witch, come on." as she lead the way, I gave a slit eye roll before we went inside a local bar called "Rousseau's"

Ezra walked in first and I followed next, the food smelled amazing it filled my nose. I loved New Orleans food, the spice mixed with a hit of soul was divine in every way.

"Are you sure I can be in here ?" Ezra asked me as I said "What scared your not over eighteen ?"

Ezra and me walked to the front bar. I sat down as I moved my hair from my face as the bartender asked "What can I get you ?"

I said "Bloody Mary please, lot's of it and for my friend over here, she'll take Lemonade, she's simply first time drinking."

"Going to have to see some ID from your friend over there." as Ezra rose her head from her bag as I said "Ok, look here." as she started to compel him

"Now your going to be a nice bartender and serve me and my guest do I make myself clear ?" the bartender nodded and with that fixed Ezra some Lemonade and myself a Bloody Mary.

I grinned thanking him as Ezra asked "Did you have to use compulsion ?"

"Clam down Ezra, compulsion is a simply mind trick that vampires have been using in this town before you where born."

"You know it shocks me how you knew this much about this town ?"

She said "Because my father along with my uncles and aunt's help build this city, I'm kind of a big deal around here myself."

Ezra sipped her lemonade saying, "And if you where a big deal that only means Taylor was a big deal aswell."

I said "Taylor was a big deal everywhere, but New Orleans was more my town that it was her's." as I sipped my bloody Mary before looking over to see the same girl from the photo I had printed off.

She had cocoa brown eyes, a round face with dark eyebrows, a cute button nose and clear smooth cinnamon skin though she had a hint of red blush to her cheeks which I found very much attractive, she also had shoulder length bouncy chocolate brown hair.

Her glossily lips made everything else on her shin even more.

She wore a New Orleans necklace that was in the shape of a map with hoop earrings and light pink skinny denim jeans and a black lace top with black knee high boots.

She was sitting at the farthest bar table smiling and talking into the camera she had set up in front of her.

She talked loud to which I found annoying she was vlogging the dessert she was having which was the brand new peach cobbler that had a topping of creamy whip cream on it and vanilla ice cream.

"Wow, just wow, Rousseau's is the place to be my Nola Family, the taste of the cobbler is warm and soft and leaves you wanting more."

"I give Rousseau's a huge ten out of ten, they have officially been given the Nia Stamp of approval, till next time my Nola Family, where we go to on the streets of The Art Distract to witness the many art and cultures, love you all turn in next week !"

With that Nia stopped recording as her waiter came over, she smiled to him shaking his hand before he gave her her bill.

He gave her a to go bag and box as she put her camera in her bed before going out the door.

Ezra looked up her and down and said "That's Nia right ?" I said "Yes, and as of right now where going to pay Nia a visit"

"Grace we shouldn't just pop up on her like that, she'll get scared and god know what she'll do when she finds out your a vampire and I'm a Bennett Witch."

I paid for the drink getting up out of my seat only for Ezra to grab my hand.

I turned to her took my hand back and said "We have four days until the Ritual and you bet that I'm not going to waste any time."

"I brought you here to help me Ezra and you surprisingly where on full board for my plan, if you choose to back out, I hope you know you will be walking back to Mystic Falls."

Ezra held her tongue before saying "Fine, we'll go with your risk plan." as I smirked "Good thinking, keep up." as me and Grace both left the bar....

Grace saw this and looked back, "Well from what I know that is the fatherly thing to do, check up on your child when you haven't seen them in a very long period of time."

Grace gave a short chuckle saying, "It took you centuries to come and find me, yet you didn't bother leaving my mother to take care of me by herself all along."

Grace interrupted once more adding, "Well you did, and you never turn back so this so called father daughter relationship you wanna build is far gone."

On my plate I had a handful of coleslaw, a burger, my cheesy potatoes and my mom's hand made lemonade.

I wasn't just in a party mode, but this mean't alot to my parents so I acted friendly.

My mom was know for being one of the best doctors at Mystic Falls Hospital, everyone wanted Dr. Salvatore to be their family doctor, so my mom was know as the classic american housewife.

My dad on the other hand was know for being a good father and guy, he even made promises to my mom to make more friends and to make better friends with her co workers, so he to was know as their classic american father.

Then there was me. Their perfect 18 year old daughter, who had good grades, was on the cheer leading team, well aside from the fact I was a vampire and our family was full of supernatural beings.

My mom also loved to brag at the fact, I wanted to become a doctor like her, which I did but I wasn't that big on it, sure I knew what collage I wanted to go to always.

I sighed as I bite into the last part of my burger before swallowing getting up leaving a message to Saige who hadn't come yet as I went to go get a rib before bumping into Charlotte.

She munched on potato chips which where inside my mom's very new vintage bowl. She also had some of my dad's corn on the cob and fish skewers.

"Char." I said to her as Charlotte smiled saying "Stef !" as she gave me a hug. I couldn't lie, I was so glad Charlotte was here.

Aside from that fact I was still close to Saige, I hadn't talked to her all day, since she started hanging out with her new boyfriend Rafael and the fact that Mackenzie and me have been close to.

I smiled before hugging her back.

She pulled away saying, "Was that Saige ?" as we walked together, kids ran around me and Charlotte playing with water guns and my mom's co worker Amy hosting a sack race .

She ate on her chip as I said "Yeah she hasn't come yet, she's driving with Rafael and Josie."

"I'm sure Saige is fine." as she munched on her chips again saying "God! I cannot stop eating. You and MG did say it's a great way to sublimate the cravings. It's hard just fighting the urge for blood every minute of every day."

"I know I hate that part of myself." as I rubbed my arm grabbing two more ribs and sausages.

"Yeah and you hates that Josie a constant temptation." as I turned to her asking "I said that ?"

She ate one more chip before putting down the bowl and grabbing a plate fixing herself some cornbread and a salad.

"I mean don't you have that desire to rip out her heart everyday, trust me I feel it all the time when I'm with Wyatt, it's ridiculous."

My breathes started to go up the plate in my hand shaking. "Hey, Hey. Clam down." as she put her hand on my shoulder about to say something when Wyatt popped up.

"Hey Char, got us a table and some drinks wanna come with ?" as Charlotte giggled saying "Duh." as I bit my lip looking at the ground.

Wyatt looked at me saying "Nice party your parents are doing Salvatore." as I gave a fake smile saying "Hmm how nice of you to come you and your mother."

"I mean our moms are competition to be the best doctor, my mom's going to come out on top."

My eye twitched as my fingers went to the nearest skewer as Charlotte saw as I gave her the look "Get him."

"Ok um Wyatt let's just go huh." as Charlotte hook her hands to her boyfriends before going off to the nearest table mouthing to me "sorry." as I gave a grin.

I then huffed getting ready to go upstairs before Taylor was behind me. She the shock on my face and gave me a hand wave as she ate some chopped up grilled chicken bites.

"Taylor." I said which is when Taylor saw "Awe did you miss your big cousin." as I said "Could never, how did you find out about this-" she stopped me within mid sentence and pointed to Charlotte who was next to Wyatt.

I sighed "Of course." as Taylor added "Char's so useful for me, body of a Aphrodite and looks that can kill."

"Why are you here." as she grabbed some corn adding, "Because it's the Salvatore family Barbecue."

"And due to Uncle Stefan, your a Salvatore." as Taylor said "Wouldn't it be nice if Aunt Elena and Uncle Damon knew their niece don't you agree." as she grabbed my lemonade drinking it.

It was a pretty apartment with nice place, it felt cozy and comfortable, small enough for anyone to live in.

With that Nia stood froze in place shocked at what I was doing.

"I'm so sorry." I told her which is when I let myself in and with that waved my hand saying "Louvir !" as she was pushed back into the wall. She fell down on it with force as she groaned.

I then heard "Great Job Ezra." as I turned to see Grace she was standing by the door as I added "All we need is her blood." as Grace said "I'm aware of what we need her for Ezra."

Nia groaned as she coughed before picking herself up to now see Grace, "Who are the h*ll are you people !"

Stefanie eyes scanned me before she blew her cheeks out saying, "When I was in Mystic Falls Middle School, I was a real jerk and I was a newly turned vampire so I didn't have my emotion under control."

"Saige and me been broke up for the six time, I was being me and acted like I wasn't heart broken but I was, and I started flirting with some other cheerleaders who weren't even gay."

"And Saige had started to go out with this douche bag name Jake Fell, Wyatt other douche cousin and there had been rumors going around that Saige had actually cheated on me with him."

At this point Stefanie and me where still waking side by side, I was glad she was telling me more about her she added "I was so mad. I was fuming with anger when I saw them, all happy."

"After school, I even ask Saige about the rumor during her soccer game and she wouldn't even admit to it or deny it which made me know it was true, so when Saige was done with her game I got into a fight with her and Wyatt I went full on angry Stefanie and I um-"

I looked at her when she didn't finish, we had stopped at this point, her hand started to clench into the fist before, my fingers slipped into her hand. She saw this action as I added "Stefanie you can tell me."

"I lose my temper and I kill him, I feasted on him." as my eyes went a bit wide, Stefanie could see that I was scared and a little shocked."

"I-I didn't mean to, I was scared about everything, when my parents found out about all of this, they knew they had to get away and get me away, so I stayed in New York for a year until coming back years later in Mystic Falls."

"So that way's I was so mad at Saige, just because I was mad at myself, and I-I was a monster back then."

"Hey, no your not a monster Stefanie, you are person with struggles, your a vampire with struggles like anyone else."

"I struggle with stuff, I'm not perfect and your not perfect either." as my hand was now on her cheek.

"MYSTIC FALLS,  18 Years Ago"

The sound of the whistle blowing filled the ears of the students of Mystic Fall Middle School.

They all cheered and clapped, popcorn falling outside their red and white striped bags and their slushie going side to side in their cups.

It was a Friday Night and everyone was thrilled and excited. It was the middle game of the season for The Mystic Falls Timber Wolves and their head rivals the Lions of Central Middle School.

Next to the side of the field where the cheerleaders cheering their team on, there head captain being Stefanie's best friend Charlotte Forbes.

She wore her two piece crop red, black and white uniform as she cheered her hair tied into a high ponytail.

She rose up from her front split and did a high v shape with her arms.

Stefanie was suppose to be out on the field but she was suspended for 2 week for getting caught drinking on campus, but she didn't really care.

Stefanie rolled her eyes at the whole sight of the game as she put her black hair which was down and flat ironed behind her ear.

She wore black ripped knee jeans with black wedge sneakers , a plaid red shirt behind tied around her waist with a denim crop top.

The whistle blew which mean't it was almost the end of the game.

"Snow cone ?" she heard as she turned to her side to see her best friend Mackenzie Donovan.

She smiled holding a green one that was Sour Green Apple and another one was Watermelon.

She wore a white v neck t-shirt with a jacket over neath a jeans and sneakers along with a arm cast since she broke her arm helping set up for Carer Day which was why she was not cheering.

Mackenzie and Stefanie had been best friends since they where babies. They lived across the street from each other and had sleep over's on a day to day bases. But Mackenzie didn't know that Stefanie was a vampire and neither was Charlotte.

Stefanie turned back in front of her saying "Not hungry."

Mackenzie said "Now I know that's a lie you haven't eaten all day, well instead of drinking Bourbon." as Stefanie pulled out her flask and took a sip of the left over alcohol she had in there.

"Stefanie your going to be drunk when you get home." as Mackenzie used her good arm to hand the young newly turned vampire the snow cone and put the flask in her pocket.

Stefanie said "It's better than watching this boring game."

Mackenzie leaned on the railing right next to Stefanie saying, "It's the final game for the Timber Wolves Soccer Team you should be supporting them." as she licked her snow cone.

"I don't care about them." as she looked down as Mackenzie noticed saying "Really, or you just don't care about Saige."

Stefanie's eyes twitched as she looked to see Saige she was kicking the ball running fast down the field pushing girls aggressively down until she was kicked the ball and scored.

"Come on, I know you guys broke it a couple of days ago, but were all best friends and you guys fighting makes it weird to hang out."

Stefanie licked her snow cone as her mom called her phone but she hung up sending it to voice mail saying "Blame Saige not me." which is when the whistle blew off meaning the game was over.

Everyone cheered knowing the whole team won, the Timber Wolves came together hugging and clapping as Stefanie looked to see Saige with her medal on ruining to her boyfriend Jake.

He hugged her spinning her around before kissing her. Mackenzie threw her snow cone away saying "What me to give you a ride your to wasted to be driving."

"I'll be fine, I'll get my dad to take me home." as Mackenzie said "Ok, see you Monday."

She hugged Stefanie before going down the field to see her father in his truck he gave her a side hug once they got into the car as he saw Stefanie and gave her a short wave.

Stefanie waved back to be nice.

A couple of minutes later everyone was gone by this point, there parents starting to pick them up, Stefanie leaned on the wall checking her phone to see if her father was on the way.

Saige smiled to Jake who was holding a big cone of cotton candy for her. She bite into it as his's football jacket was over his shoulder.

Stefanie turned to see the two. She scoffed wanting to ignore them but she decided to say something. She smirked as she then clapped her hands.

Saige and Jake look up to see the Salvatore. Stefanie smiled at that. "Well, Well isn't this lovely Saige wins the game for the Timber Wolves, "rah, rah, go team, yeah!"

Saige sighed, "Hey Stef." as Stefanie waved saying "Hi Saigey, Jake." as she looked him up and down.

Jake saw the tense between us and said "I'll leave you guys to talk." as she nodded to him with a fake smile as Saige fixed her medal asking "What do you want Stef ?"

Stefanie said "Nothing, just checking on you, I mean we haven't talk in 2 weeks." as Saige added "I mean, when you've been acting out all day it's kinda of annoying to be by you."

"Oh, so me being annoying is the reason you haven't talk to me, or it is because of the fact your trying to avoid my question."

She blew her cheeks out saying, "Is this really how you wanna act right now, have a nice night Stefanie."

With that I speed in front of her and pushed her to the ground. She slid a few feet down as she rose up to see me.

I didn't mean to push her, but I held my ground, everyone was gone at this point. "Tell me."

"Stefanie, I don't wanna fight you, your drunk and angry, so let me leave."

"No, because I want to know did you cheat !" "Why does that even matter now ?!" as she gave a a laugh at the problem.

"I swear to god, you are acting like self destructive monster !" Stefanie eyes fell, out of everyone Saige was never one to call her a monster.

Jake came out as we both turned to him, Stefanie guess he overheard the yelling "Hey Babe is everything ok !"

Her eye twitch as Stefanie said "Ok then, If I am so much as a monster, then let me commit my first crime." as Stefanie eye twitch and with that she speed over to Jake and began to feast on him.

Saige yelled hands over mouth as Jake said "Aah!" in pain trying to pull Stefanie off.

Stefanie's eyes where now there vampire ones, her angry had clouded over her and she let it out on Saige's love one.

Once his blood was all over her, she moaned at the taste before dropping him his neck cracking on the ground confirming his death.

Saige cried as she went over to his body. Stefanie stood above her which is when she snapped out of it. She saw what she had done.

"Omg." Stefanie said wiping her mouth as she saw the blood on her hands. Saige looked up at her with tears in eyes.

Stefanie was sobbing to she didn't want to lose control. That's when a Cherokee Black Jeep pulled out Stefanie and Saige turned to see Stefanie's mom.

She had a short brown bob and wore a Garnet red coat with black pants and some red gloves with brown heels and a long sleeve shirt.

Her husband and Stefanie's father Damon wore a leather jacket with a solid black shirt with black jeans and boots.

They saw there daughter, and the body. They rushed over, "Stefanie !" as they held her as Stefanie's dad saw the body.

"Stefanie what did you do ?!" Stefanie's mom shouted to her daughter, as Stefanie said "Mom I didn't mean to, I swear."

Stefanie's dad saw the body and groaned this was what he feared his daughter losing control of her emotions and feeding.

Stefanie then saw Saige, who back up. Stefanie went over and with that began to compel Saige.

She gave a little gasp. "Your going to forget everything you saw, Jake died from a animal attack and there was nothing you could do about it."

Stefanie gave a little sob before adding, "And I'm going to leave Mystic Falls, me and my parents, your going to tell Charlotte and Mackenzie that I got expelled, and that I'm going to finish my eighth grade year in-" as she turned to my parents before Elena mouthed "New York."

Stefanie whined to her mother "New York, mom !" as Stefanie's mom shook her head, that was her finally answer.

Stefanie was going to deal with that later as she bite her lip from saying anything else as Stefanie's dad said "Listen to your mother."

Stefanie took in a breathe finishing the compulsion, "Live your life Saige, promise me you will." as Saige said like a zombie "I will." before Stefanie leaned in to give Saige one more kiss on her lips.

Stefanie pulled away saying "Goodbye Saige." as Stefanie went to her parents as her mom said "Come on." as they went inside their car and drove off.

Saige blinked looking around before she saw Jake dead in a pool of his own blood. She yelled "Help Help !" which is when the police pulled up.

Saige sobbed next to her father who was holding her to his side, people saw the scene crowding around as the new's station pulled up to.

"Mr Lockwood, what are you going to do about this recent animal attack." as Tyler went to try and pull his daughter into the limo as one new's reporter asked "Miss Saige Lockwood, tell us everything about your experience toni-"

"LEAVE ME ALONE !" she yelled with alot of aggression before their driver came to back off the reporters and close the door as he got inside the car and drove away...

"Witch?" I said as Nia's eyes went wide as Ezra said "Yeah we know Nia." as I curled my hair around my finger adding, "Please I could smell the witch on you." as Nia gave a short chuckle.

"Now let me in." as Nia backed up. I started to get upset as I grabbed my massacre brush from my purse showing it to her.

I said "Ins't it lovely, nice and pointy the edges."and with that Grace thew the massacre at Nia, it pierced her stomach as she held it falling down onto the floor.

"Grace !" Ezra yelled to me, I smirked saying "Clam down, she'll be fine, but she will bleed out onto her tile floor because only I can heal you, so last chance invite me, cause I'm happy to just watch you die here."

Nia who was holding her stomach saw bloody hand and with that she said "Fine, your invited in." and with that I walked in, I smiled knowing my plan was going perfectly together.

"Good thinking." as Nia rolled her eyes before I bite my wrist and being to feed her my blood, she took tiny sips almost as if she didn't trust me which made me smirk.

I pulled away as she wiped her mouth and looked down to see herself start to heal. "I told you I wouldn't lie to you." as she brought herself back up before asking "What do you want Grace ?" hands on hips.

I mocked that and said "I need you to come with me with Mystic Falls," as she said "Um why would I go to Mystic Falls with you ?"

"Because sweetie, I need you for a spell." as she asked "Why do you need me, let miss witch over there make it for you."

"Because my other partner in crime is using Ezra in her ritual so I have to use you for myself." as Nia asked "So you think I will just follow you at your hand and foot like Ezra does."

"Yeah and because your a witch, see my partner in crime is Taylor Salvatore, she's the all powerful hybrid vampire-witch, and I want her dead."

Nia's eyes went wide before folding her arms, "You want Taylor dead, wow I'm shocked."

I smirked "I want her dead, and I want to make sure she stays that way, and you are the key to that, Taylor's surrogate was apart of your family, you being a powerful New Orleans witch, shouldn't be a problem."

"I don't even like the witch side of me." as I said "Come on." going into her cabinet getting her wine out as I poured myself some.

"So If I help you out, you'll leave me alone because I do not want to be bother in your chasing Taylor business."

"Deal." as I walked towards her before she said "I also know you have a doppelganger Stefanie Salvatore."

"Yes yes Stefanie, my crybaby of a doppelganger, other than the fact I have a gallon of her blood inside my room."

"I need Stefanie because one she is related to Taylor but also because her mother has the Gilbert Journal." as I added "I need that Journal." as Ezra asked "Why ?"

I said "Because, Johnathan Gilbert was a mad man, crazy inventor right, he was alive when most of the vampires were, what else is there to know about this town."

Nia and Ezra shared looks as I sipped my drink finishing it, "Help me, end Taylor, put her down and I'll let you go and you'll be out of my debut for good."

Nia nodded as I said "Start packing." as I threw her a bag to pack in and walked out of the apartment.

Ezra looked back to Nia who sighed as Ezra added "Hey, look I'm sorry for lying, believe me I don't wanna be in the middle either."

"Whenever there's a group of vampires, werewolves and hybrids there's always a witch following them around." as Nia gave a slit smile to Ezra before going into her room to pack...

I grabbed the wrapped up plate that was covered with tin foil which held a big rib, beans and brisket with a can of Root Beer to the side with Stefanie's signature strawberry cupcakes.

Since we where kids she would use the same recipe to win our school's bake sale, my vanilla bean brownies never stood a change against her famous cupcakes.

"Well yeah till her when she's not getting busy-" as we both looked to see Taylor she was playing Pictionary with Mr Salvatore and Mrs. Salvatore

Taylor was drawing on the big piece of paper as she had the marker in her mouth as she tried to get the Salvatore's to guess her drawing's.

"Dress! Ballerina!" Mrs Salvatore told her her husband arm wrapped around her.

Taylor smiled as Charlotte who was next to Sagie said "Bat ! Bat with a tutu!"

Taylor pointed saying "Close, Close !" as Charlotte huffed saying "Darn it." as Mr Salvatore said "A bat! Hound-bat!" which is when Stefanie said from the back "Vampire." as everyone turned to Stefanie.

Charlotte's eyes fell a bit and Saige shifted herself on the couch before Taylor put the cap on the marker saying "Good job mini Salvatore." as Stefanie gave a slit grin.

Taylor then came over towards Stefanie, I rolled my eyes and put up a plate.

"Aunt Elena is getting tipsy." as Stefanie said "It would help if you weren't plying her with alcohol?" as Stefanie watched her mother drink her second cup of champagne.

"I want my aunt to like me Stefanie, were bestie's now."

She went to the blackberry cake that Saige had brought over with cream cheese frosting as she use the cake knife to get herself a slice before digging in.

"Mmm Lockwolf can bake." as I said "Secret talent of her's." as Taylor licked the frosting off the fork which is when Stefanie's mom came over.

She wore a navy blue t-shirt with black jeans and heels as she swayed but caught herself on the table saying "This so much fun! Isn't it girls ?" as "Yes it is, so happy Charlotte told me about it."

Stefanie's mom smiled at her as she said "Taylor, I'm so glad you've moved here, and given the fact about all the stuff you've been through I would think I would have bump into you snorer."

"Awe that's sweet of you." which is when Stefanie's mom asked "So Taylor anyone you got eyes's on in your life." as Taylor grabbed the cake knife and gave her a slice of the cake saying "I was married."

"Awe male or female." as Taylor said "Well a male, his name was Chadwick, where I was from dating a female or better yet marrying one was consider a sin."

"Those people don't understand." as me and Stefanie went to the couch right next to Josie, Saige and Charlotte listening in on Stefanie's mom and Taylor's conversation.

Taylor gave a slit grin pouring herself some whine adding "My husband was abuses, hated him, but he wouldn't let me go, he died, so I was set free."

"I'm so sorry you went't through that, I'm glad this Chadwick didn't meet me because I would have shown him a true beat down."

Taylor chuckled sipping her whine before Stefanie's mom said "I don't know what it is about you Taylor, but I feel like we have a connect and like it's so easy to talk to you."

"Interesting." Taylor said as Stefanie's mom gave a short chuckle.

Taylor eating the rest of her cake adding "My ex boyfriend and brother in law Stefan Salvatore was the person I could talk to on a daily bases, he passed away a while ago and it's tough without him."

Taylor eyes's dropping saying, "I bet it is, grief is a hard emotion to tackle would be nice to just flip the switch on emotions ." as Taylor made contact with Stefanie smirking as Stefanie gave her a look.

"Trust me I know, but you are just like him, kind, caring. I mean you have his straight curly dark blonde hair and even his forest green eyes with a small hint of blue which is so adorable."

Taylor laugh as Stefanie's mom grew some tears in eyes thinking about her late brother in law made her upset. "I'm sorry, I'm a crybaby." as Taylor said "It's ok, I understand Elena."

"Come here, I just wanna hug you." Stefanie's mom said as she pulled Taylor into a hug.

That shocked Taylor she didn't like being hugged by people, not even by Grace, but when she hugged Stefanie's mom she got that feeling of warmth and care, she smelled of warm cookies and most of...love

Taylor hugged back, resting her chin on Stefanie's mom shoulder.

She got that feeling of being hugged by your mother after a long hard day, a feeling she had lost previous times from her own mother failing spend time with her with her father Stefan not being in the picture it made it ten times worse.

Stefanie's mom pulled away.

"What the h*ll just happened ?" I asked Stefanie who said "I think, Taylor just got a hint of humanity." as we all turned to Stefanie who's eyes fixed on Taylor.

I ate one from the bag and made my way to my car before I heard a whoosh as I put the wine inside my car long with the cookies adding "Come to fight with me my dearest cousin."

I turned to see Stefanie, she folded her arms at me. "No, just to talk." as I said "Ah, so talk away."

"Whatever game your trying to pull with my family it won't work." as I said "I can't help with that fact that our family like me."

I closed my car door as I looked at Stefanie, she stood her ground.

"I really really hope that that wasn't a threat Stefanie because what I can do is kill your mom and your dad and leave you as a orphan left to live alone for yourself."

Stefanie said going inside "Stay away from my family and my friends or we'll have a real issue." as she went inside and closed the door locking it.

I bit my lip before I narrowed my eyes getting my phone out to call Grace. I was driving back home at this point

When it was just ringing, I said on the voice mail "Grace, It has officially been 24 hours since you've come back home, do not make me search the whole world for you because I will." I said voice risen at the end.

I took in a deep breathe to clam myself during my angry attack as I said with a small voice crack, "I cannot defeat my enemies without you by my side, so please for the love of god call me back."

I hanged up and put my phone to the other side of the seat as I collected my breathes before pulling up to the mansion.

I sighed as I closed the door behind me as I put my hair behind my ear before I got the feeling to look behind me.

I then turning to see nothing, but that suspicious didn't go away, it had been a feeling that I've had been getting for weeks but I've playing it off.

I made it inside as I locked the door behind me before and got into the shower and began to take a bath.

Once I got out, I pulled out my favorite blood bag which was B- as my hair was tied into a bun as I wrote down into my journal about today, that weird feeling of bonding that I had with Elena.

I then rose my eyes, the straw from the blood bag falling down a bit when she heard "Finally back from your get away." as she drew a small sketch of a barbecue on a table.

Grace walked through the door of my room. She had on her shades as she placed her leather jacket on my bed along with some shopping bags.

"I had a great time in New Orleans, turns out people missed their princess." as Grace turned to me before adding, "How was the little family BBQ ?"

"Fun, I guess. Though it would have been better if you where there." as she turned to me meeting my eyes.

"I couldn't be there Taylor, and I apologize but I swear to you I'll be there when you become the all powerful hybrid." as I smirked before she smiled back.

Grace removed my hands saying "She's a friend, to help us if Ezra decides she want's to tap out." as Ezra rolled her eyes.

"Oh, well she can stay in the other guest room, use to be Hope's mom room." as Ezra nodded to Grace who nodded back as she went into the other room.

Taylor then added "Grace, we had plans ahead of us, the ritual is upon us and of course Stefanie is going to have a plan to avoid it, she did threaten me."

I smiled at least Saige was happy, I made my way to Alaric's office.

I knocked on the door before I heard "Right now is not a good time." as I opened the door as he saw me.

I smiled at him asking "Not even for Mr. Salvatore famous ribs ?" as he closed the book he was reading saying "Well, I guess." as I walked towards him.

I placed my bag at the seat right across from me as I placed the ribs down. "How was the barbecue ?"

"Great, I mean I had fun, but I feel like something's missing." as he played in his beans adding "What's wrong ?"

I sighed saying, "I guess with my dad being the original hybrid and Kenzie's mad at me, I've been all over the place."

I sighed before rising my eyes at Alaric asking "A-Am I being a good daughter and better yet person ?"

Alaric placed down his fork saying "Charlotte now of course you know I wasn't the biggest fan of your father, but I know he would be proud of you."

"But that's the problem, I don't feel like I've been. I been friends with Taylor she's playing on sacrifice my best friend and I'm having feelings for her, what kind of friend does that make me ?"

Alaric sighed before I wiped tears out of my eyes. I stood up grabbing my bag saying "What am I doing, you have better thing to do then worry with me, have a nice night Uncle Alaric."

He then stopped me as I turned to him, "Try coming early tomorrow Char, we can talk and maybe if you want you can have a session with our school's guide council."

I smiled "Thank you." as I went back him giving him a hug as he gave me a hug back as I pulled away before going outside his office.

I walked down the stairs before I heard "Charlotte ?" as I turned to see Mackenzie. I had no idea how she was even here.

Her hair was tied into a bun as she wore a workout outfit that was a blush pink shirt with some heart earrings a water bottle in her hand, some pink Nike shoes and some black tights.

"Kenzie, your here." as she said "Yeah I am, I stopped to run on the trend mil and I saw your car pulled up in the drive thru."

"Oh so you where stalking me." as she chuckled a bit saying "Yeah I was, plus trying to up come up with a apologize." as I meet her eyes.

"I acted like a real b*tch to you Char, true be told Ezra was right, I was jealous." as I crossed my arms asking "You where jealous of Ezra ?"

Mackenzie said "No no, never, I just was jealous of you being with Taylor twenty four seven."

She chuckled recalling the memory as she said "I did cry alot as a baby, I also remember Stef and Saige would always want to cuddle with each other and it so hard for Mr. Lockwood and Mr. Salvatore to pull them apart."

"But I bet they where cute and hot." as Mackenzie blushed as I asked "Why you ask ?"

My dad was upstairs getting some bills paid while my mom was cleaning a knife that she used to cut the cake early.

I ate some peanuts aswell as I bite down on one before writing them the rest of my essay.

With that I looked over to see my mother talking to someone on the phone, I didn't think to use my hearing to overhear her call.

"Ok, I understand thank you." as she went to me saying "It's for you sweetie."

I thought it was Josie at first or Hope. I put down my peanut before asking "Who is it ?" my mother simply walked back to the kitchen shrugging.

I placed the phone to my ear saying "Hello ?" doing the rest of my work when I heard "Hello my dearest doppelganger."

I looked over to my mom and towards upstairs to where my dad was, "Grace I swear to god if you hurt them."

She shushed me adding "Please don't threaten me, that's what got you in this situation already."

She added "Your mom has been such a amazing little spy for me giving me all the details to your little scheme's and may I say you where adorable baby."

I rolled my eyes saying "So you have no idea it was just to tell your mom how nice it would be to just-" as I looked behind to see my mom holding the knife in her air to her stomach.

"Mom no !" as she dropped the phone which is when she stabbed herself hard in the stomach before falling to the ground.

"Dad ! Dad !" I yelled which caused the windows in the house to explode.

My dad rushed downstairs as he saw my mom in a pool of her own blood as he yelled "Elena !" as I cried as I didn't know whether to take the knife out our leave it in.

My dad said "Call 911." as he supported my mother's head as I rushed to the house phone...

Tears stained my eyes as I wiped them away. My dad then came out of the room.

He sighed as he fiddled with his ring telling me "The doctors told me that she got very lucky and if we hadn't called sooner she would have died. She's gonna make it. She's gonna be okay."

That brought me some relief as I asked "Does she remember what happened?"as he told me "No she doesn't."

"It's all a part of Grace's mind compulsion." I mutter as he asked "What you say ?" as I rose my eyes wiping my face adding, "Nothing." as I tried to sob.

"Hey, hey." as he hugged me again as I wiped my face trying to stop the tears but I couldn't.

But then I stopped sniffling as my eyes went dark no emotion shining in them as I said "It's ok dad, It's all going to be ok, because I'm going to make whoever had this happen pay, brutally." as my eyes flashed to my vampire ones.
