(Trig's Pov)
"hi" Claudia dragged out and then pulling me into a hug as she opened the door
"hi" I mocked back and we laughed
"i need to show you something" she squealed
She grabbed my hand and ran to the living room where a small little puppy lay on the sofa
The puppy looked up and waddled towards me
"hey buddy" i said softly kneeling down to pick it up and he licked my face "who's this little guy" i laughed
"we don't know" finneas said coming into the room "we found him in a box on the side of the road"
"poor thing" i pouted "baby you're so cute"
"can't believe someone would abandon him" Claudia said now sitting on the sofa and I joined her
"what's his name" I said as the dog climbed onto my chest and sat down
"that's the thing" she started "we were thinking maybe you could take him i mean i know it's not been long since Nitro passed but we can't look after him we have peaches"
Another dog? I mean he is so fucking cute, he looks like a pitbull but another dog? Am I ready?
"fuck it" i blurted out "how can i say no to this guy" i smiled
"so what are you going to call him" Finneas asked
"Phantom, he looks like a Phantom to me" i smiled "thank you by the way, tho both of you"
So how the fuck did that happen? I know have a dog. His eyes remind me of Nitro's one blue eye. I can already tell that Phantom is going to be trouble but I don't mind. He'll help take things off my mind and that's what I really need, a distraction.
I stayed at their house for a few hours before thanking them again and taking my new buddy home. I say home it's really just Bricker's house as I haven't got my own yet.
"who is this" Kat squealed
"my new friend, Phantom" i said as he ran towards Kat
"is that a dog i hear" Bricker shouted coming down the stairs
"i don't know is it?" I laughed as Phantom barked at him
"oh my god he's cute" Bricker said kneeling down to pet Phantom
"i'm glad you got him, I have a feeling he's going to bring you something" Kat said
