--leaks--
from your eyes
not in tears
no, in years
spilling out from a shared
reservoir that we dip
--splash--
through on our way to
knowing each other

the world slows
and my spine slips
into place
slightly skewed
--curved--
toward your frame
toward your flame
perpetually at your right hand
perpetually falling
--leaning--
toward your warmth
