I woke up and of course groaned, another day in hell. Come on Jt, at least our bestfriend on the whole wide world is coming back today! Ah yes! Onyx, the baddest bitch. This has been my bestfriend since 5th grade, we've had many arguments but always bounced back.

I parked my car beside Michael's and got out, I threw my trash in the garbage on the way in before looking for Michael. I checked the library and he wasn't there, but Mr. Whitehead told me he saw Michael with a blonde and brown haired girl at the office. Bitch, he cheating. How can he cheat if we aren't together, dumbass. Oh you right, carry on.
Most definitely getting checked into therapy soon, I left the library and went to the office, soon finding Mike and the strawberry blonde girl. The were engaged in a deep conversation, I'm not jealous they might be cousins.
"Oh, Butterfly hey, this is Rebecca Owens or rebeowens. She asked about me on that post, remember." Michael smiles brightly, I saw a little twinkle in his eye, the hell.
I clenched my jaw and put on my best fake smile, "Hey, I'm Jayden nice to meet you." I held my hand out for her to shake. She smiled at me and shook my hand- her hand on mine made my blood boil, I forced myself not to break her shit, "Rebecca Owens, likewise." I quickly take my hand from hers and turn to Michael
"Here's your food, I'll see you in class." I said as I gave him his food before walking away, I can't be jealous. I won't be jealous.
As I walked down the halls, I passed by Deniece and Frank ignoring them like the baddie I am! I noticed some purple hair from the crowd and instantly squealed (she's wearing a wig 💕)
"Onyx Louise!" I screamed, catching her attention, she screams and runs at me full force. Once close enough she hugs me tight, she knew better than to jump💀
"Jayden Janelle! I missed you so much!" She squeals, "I missed you too girl! How was the trip? Werent you supposed to be back like a week ago?" I ask as we pull away and start walking again
"Yes! My dad was having too much fun so he let us stay another week, I brought you a surprise too! You can only find them back in Japan." She smiles softly, "Crazy cause I just ordered us some new shoes, those Jordans you wanted?" I nodded
"Oo, bet! I couldn't find those no fucking where, Egg!" She claps softly as we enter Science class, she sat beside me, "Its all good, Pizza, I bought me some too though." We grin
A silence fell over before she smirked, "Whats been going on with you? I'm surprised you haven't been with Frank and Deniece, you finally got off their leash?" She teases causing me to laugh, "Bitch I was never on their leash, I let them go because they're toxic as fuck and I didn't need that energy. Besides, they're annoying and unsupportive of my decisions." She nods, "Elaborate."
"You know Michael right? Michael Jackson?" I ask, "Smart quiet kid they call weird?", "He isn't weird, they just don't know him but yea. We been talking and thats why Deniece, Frank and I aren't cool anymore. Bestfriend, its a new girl names Rebecca and yesterday I posted Michael on my page, so she decided to comment under my post and ask if Michael was single- asking for a friend. So today, they were at the office talking real deep and Michael had a little twinkle in his eye, I never seen the twinkle before. I'm so confused right now." I shook my head
"You like him dont you?" Ne asks, "I don't know, I think so but now I feel he doesn't. Like he's quiet in school but around me he's so active and alive, we fucking sang Oo Baby Baby by Smokey Robinson to each other yesterday. He *whispers* he layed his head on my fat ma and said she smell like candy, i mean of course and she taste like it too but still!" I explain causing her to burst out in hysterics, "Not on your fat ma, bitch! So wait, this Rebecca girl has you confused on whether Michael still likes you or not? You think he likes her?" I nod my head
"Just watch his energy around both you and around her. If the energy is off- confront him, if not don't think too much on it you'll hurt yourself." Ne advices, "Thanks boo, I needed that. I just really wanna be with him but I'm scared to put my heart and trust into a nigga- this is the reason why."
"I understand, lets take your mind off it and take a picture." She smiles, I nodded my head and posed for her picture and she posed for mine

I didn't even notice Michael and Rebecca walk in until they passed by us giggling, Onyx looked at me as I looked at her. "Calm down, love." She says, rubbing my hand
As the teacher taught class, I felt a tap on my shoulder it was Keith, "I don't understand this science bull so you think you can tutor me after school sometimes?" He smiles and whew chile that was a pretty ass smile!
I blushed softly and nodded, out the corner of my eye I saw Michael staring at me, "Let me get your number then, ma." He smirks softly before passing me his phone
I grinned and put my number in, I felt Onyx elbow me as I texted myself and giving his phone back

"Ight, I'mma text you ma." He smirks a bit before turning back to the teacher
I look over at Onyx to see she's smirks hard as hell at me, "Michael's gone kill you, bitch." I just roll my eyes, "Fuck Michael right now, he's having fun with Ms. Rebecca." I shrug, "I mean it aint like I'm gone give the pussy to Keith, I'm just tutoring him."
I continued to ignore Michael, him and Rebecca were having too much fun anyway. Onyx and I continued to joke around before the teacher decided we'd do the rest of our assignment in groups.
"Guess we can start tutoring early?" Keith asks, moving his desk to Onyx and I's, "Yall got room for one more?" Nathan asks causing Ne to blush, "For sure, sit by me."
Michael and Rebecca paired together of course, just having the time of their lives back there. Keith was trynna be all sweet and lay on my shoulder but I was like "move I don't know you like that" the first couple times in a joking way until I just ignored it. We all joked and did our work, deciding we would link up and sit beside each other in the rest of the classes
"Fix my desk and you're dismissed." The teacher says, we all did as told before leaving out
"Jayden, can I talk to you?" I hear Michael behind me, the friends turn towards me
"Come on you guys, meet us by the lockers." Ne smiles before pulling Ke and Nathan away
"Yo?" I look towards Michael, "Are you mad at me?" Tell his ass you are! I shook my head no, "Nah, why?" I lie, "You've been distant and you gave your number to Keith."
"I mean, you and Rebecca have been pretty busy and my bestfriend just came, Keith has my number because I'm tutoring him now. Oh, tell Rebecca she can have my seats where we sit by each other, Keith, Onyx, Nathan and I decided to sit by each other for the rest of the classes. See ya." I smile before walking off to the lockers
"You good babygirl?" Ne asks, Keith slings his arm around my shoukder, "Boy you too comfortable, and yea I'm good boo. Lets go I wanna get a snack before next period. When's Volleyball practice anyway?"
"After this period, I gotta come see one of your games too, I got basketball." Keith answers, "I'll have to see one of your games too." I smile as we walk off
I decided I'm gonna have a good rest of my day, fuck all the negative energy.
