[ Suki POV ]
Ok so before I moved schools I filled out a piece of paper online which was me selecting what classes I want. I got most of them but instead of AP CalculusI got put in AP Gov which I hate.
The lady in the front office said she'll change my schedule but it would take a while.
But today as I was walking into school the lady from the office found me in the hallway and announced to me that I finally got switched over to AP Calculus and as you can guess I was SUPER excited.
So instead of me walking to AP Gov today, I walked to building C where AP Calculus was. I then found the classroom and took a loud/excited breath before walking in and seeing,
! ZUKO !
Sitting in the chair in the back right corner,
Immediately my stomach was filled with butterflies while my cheeks beamed with a pink blush.
The teacher walked up to me greeting me as well as welcoming me, I greeted him back before he offered to allow me to sit where ever I want.
Of course, I sat next to Zuko still without him noticing me, He was facing the wall narrowing his eyebrows at it as if it was a person. I sat down and placed my bag on the back of my chair before slightly taping his shoulder which surprised him as he shot a mad look at me with little fire daggers coming from his nails.
Though When he Recognize me he dropped the scary look as long as the daggers before he spoke.
Zuko - Oh it you, hey Suki
Suki - Um hey? I guess
Zuko - Why are you here
Suki - Well because I switched classes
Zuko - ......typical......
Zuko look down when he said that and I could tell he was trying to say that quietly as he didn't want me to hear it but I still managed to.
Zuko then began slowly moving his head up straight towards the front of the room where the teacher was about to start teaching. He also started mumbling something which I couldn't understand this time.
" Why is he in a bad mood?"
I thought to myself which I quickly found myself thinking about the whole lesson.
[ Later ]
Teacher - Alright class that's it for today, And don't forget to do the pages 11-23 for homework tonight
Zuko mumbling - This idiot is always giving up stupid homework
Suki - Hey that's not a lot of homework compared to other teachers
Zuko gave me a shocked look after I called him out for what he mumbled, I began to pack up and so did he. While packing up Zuko didn't make the least of small talk and just had an angry look on his face.
Also, I'm not attracted to jerks like that, but right now any time he would make eye contact with me I could just feel the butterfly's moving in my stomachs.
But this whole time I've to know him he's been super nice and helpful but right now it looks like something happened..., Like some just punch him and took all the honor out of him.
[ AN - I'm sorry, I'v been watching season 2 of Avatar and this boy does not shut up about his honor so I had to put it in here ]
Suki - Hey, Zuko?
Zuko - mm
Suki - Are you ok?
Zuko barked - Yeah!
Suki - Gosh, Calm down, Tell me What happened?
Zuko - How did you know something happened?
Suki Shrugs shoulders - Idk
Zuko - Alright fine something did happen
Suki - Oh, so that's why you're being a jerk today, huh?
I tried to say that with a funny teasing voice but he looked up at me with puppy dog eyes and it looked like he was also holding back a...

But he closed his eyes and kept them close for a moment before opening them giving me a mutual look.
Zuko - Look, I'm sorry if I was rude to you today, I've just uhh had a bad day, ok?
Suki - I understand, Here's a plan, Since you're having a bad day and I have some extra free time this afternoon let's meet up somewhere and we can talk. Ok?
Zuko - Uh, yeah, I guess
Suki - Great, 6 o'clock at the 4 nations coffee shop

Suki - Well that's the bell, See you at 6
I rushed the door with a quick sprint before heading to my next class.
"Did I just really ask out Zuko for Coffee?"
I couldn't believe it I just asked out my crush on a date!
Ok it's not a date but still, we're going to get coffee together, Just us two!
[ After school ]
I know I never said it was a date up but I couldn't help myself so I dressed up a bit.
[ Here is Suki outfit ]
I then left my house around 5:42. Once I arrived I didn't see Zuko so I still decided to wait at a table for two saving him a spot.
More and more time went by and now I already drank two cups of coffee as I sat at a table still waiting for Zuko.
I felt like shit to be honest because I got excited for Zuko to come but he never came and I got all dressed up and now I'm a clown 🤡

Finally around 6:25 I got up from my seat and picked up my bag before hearing the bell of the coffee shop door open, I quickly turned my head in hopes of it being Zuko but instead I saw Sokka moving his eyes as if he was looking for something.
Then when he spotted me he closed the door walked towards me and sat down in the chair across from my seat without saying a word. I still stood at the Side of my chair holding my bag in my hand confused about Sokka's presence.
Suki - Um hello?
Sokka - You're probably wondering why I'm here
Suki - Yeah, I am.
Sokka - Well I knew you were at this coffee shop and I need someone to talk to and Zuko said you give good advice
Sokka - So I'm here.....at the coffee shop.........waiting for my good advice.
I slowly placed my bag back on the ground before I sat down, I also wanted to laugh because Sokka was being very serious which never happens but turns out he was being for real.
Sokka - Well?
Suki - I'm going to need some more information before we talk, Why do you need this advice?
Sokka - I uh...Do I have to tell you?
Suki - How else do you think this is going to work?
Sokka - Alright fine, So um Bao, Thoughts on him?
Suki - I don't have a full opinion on him since I don't know him that well, But what I've seen so far he seems to be a nice guy
Sokka - UghThat's what Zuko said
Suki - What's wrong with thinking he's a nice guy?
Sokka - Is just that I like—.. I uhh... Top....but, Bao he is—
Suki - Omg you like Bao!?
Sokka - Eww, what no!
Suki - But you said you like—*Gasps* You like Toph!
Sokka - What I...yeah, your right
Suki - So why don't you tell her
Sokka - Because um hello? Bao.
Suki - What do you mean?
Sokka - Toph is the kind of person who is independent and doesn't need to be talking to someone, she just likes to be by herself
Sokka - Which also means she never makes any new friends like ever.
Suki - Yeah I get that
Sokka - So I think it's kinda weird for her to allow Bao to sit with us 'AKA her only friends'
If he wasn't her friend
Suki - Ok so they're friends, what's wrong with that?
Sokka - You don't get it, I can feel with my man powers that there is something fishy going on with this Bao guy
Suki - Sokka, it's probably nothing
Sokka - That's why I came here, it's because I want to ask out Toph but I feel like she and Bao are a little "thing" but it makes no sense because we kiss—
My eyes widen as Sokka spoke the last word, he quickly slapped his hand over his mouth trying to stop himself from speaking but I heard it
Suki - You kissed Toph!
Sokka - mhm.
Suki - You have to ask her out
Sokka - But what—
Suki - No "what if's"
Suki - if she kissed you that's a "I like you" in girl code, obviously
Sokka - Idk Suki
Suki - You have to do it simp.
Sokka bit down his lip in annoyance from my comment before looking down, By the look on his face I could tell he was thinking cause all of a sudden he looked up back at me with a smug smile
Sokka - And what were you going at the Coffee shop waiting for Zuko?
Suki - How did you know I was going to meet up with Zuko?
Sokka - He told me that you invited him to come but he got busy
Suki - oh.
Sokka - Don't try to change the subject, Was this supposed to be a date?
Suki - What, pffff no way that's crazy talk.
Sokka - Then why are you dressed up
Suki - What do you mean, this is very casual/ comfortable and I wear this stuff all the time
Sokka - Really?
Suki - Yes.
Sokka - Suki,...really?
Suki - Ok maybe not to him it was a date, but to me it was
Sokka - AHA, Looks like someone has a crush on Zuko
Suki - Shut up about it!
Sokka laughing - Don't tell anyone about my crush and I won't tell Zuko, Deal?
Suki - Deal
Sokka - Great, Well I'm going to head home now
Suki - I'm going to leave in a bit
Sokka joking- Haven't you already been here for an hour?
Suki correcting - 40 minutes actually, I just like the calming vibes I get from here
Sokka - Ok
Suki - See you at school tomorrow
Sokka - See ya
Sokka gets up and leave coffee shop
