•Kageyama pov•
I was looking at the way my new teammates who were all practicing, I could see how much effort they are putting even though it's just practice. I wonder why they put too much effort into a practice..It's just a practice. I got into Volleyball because of my Grandfather he has always taught me when I was little. I just watch the others practice since this is the first day I join. The teammates haven't met me yet since they are practicing.
*10 min later*
The practice had ended and the Coach called them over. I got nervous on how would they react to seeing that I was joining them. I mean I knew I was younger then them all but still I didn't know how to greet them. As coach said "as you guys see a new member is joining us today so be kind and show him around". I walked closer so all of them could see me.
I looked down not daring to look up cause I didn't know how they would feel about this. Until coach spoke up."please introduce yourself kid"
I sighed and spoke to them. "Uhm.. I'm Tobio Kageyama..n-nice to meet you guys.." I looked up at them to see if anyone would say something..that's when someone did.
?: and do we need another member don't we have enough.
I looked over to see who said that just as he was smacked on the head by the boy who was next to him.
??: oi be nice Oikawa
Oikawa: pfft whatever Iwaizumi this team got me what more do we need?
Iwaizumi: Oikawa this is not about you, we work as a team not around you and besides your not giving him a good welcoming.
*Oikawa rolled his eyes*
Iwaizumi: sorry about him, he is full of himself
I just nodded understanding.
Iwaizumi: well I'm Iwaizumi and that is Oikawa
*The others had introduce themselves. And as practice ended Kageyama was picking up balls and putting them away*
I hold onto the balls and look at them, I smiled a bit knowing someday I would get to hit the ball in practice. That's when I felt a tap on my shoulder I turned around to see Iwaizumi.
Iwaizumi: hey there Kageyama right?
I nodded.
Iwaizumi: well how about I will show you around?
"Okay" was all I replied as I put the ball back In the proper place and followed him around.
He showed me the cafe,classes and a few places you could practice.
Iwaizumi: well I am sorry about Oikawa's behavior
Ah no it's alright I get it, I mean you already seem to have enough members It feels like I will be a burden on the team I said.
Iwaizumi: ah your not a burden it's great to have you join the team, I have a question tho?
Hm?
Iwaizumi: what position are you going for in the team?
I was thinking going for a setter but I wasn't sure.
Iwaizumi: go for it, we could use another setter, Oikawa is one of our setter
"Ohh.. The boy who talked first"
Iwaizumi: ah don't worry about him, if you want to be a setter then go for it no one will stop you.
Uhm what if Oikawa stops me?
Iwaizumi: pfft over my dead body, I won't let him stop you okay?
I smiled. "Okay"
Iwaizumi: well let's head to lunch
I nodded as we made way to the cafe. We got our food. I got to sit with Iwaizumi with the rest of the members. I looked up to see Oikawa looking at me with a glare, I looked down as I thought I guess he still doesn't like having a new member.
I got disturbed from my thoughts as someone called my name.
Kunimi: so Kageyama what do you like?
Kageyama: uhm I like milk
Kunimi:milk?
I nodded.
Kunimi:eh? Why?
Kageyama: I just like it, I mostly have it everyday...
Kunimi: hmm alright

As Kageyama looked away he saw a kitty near by in front of him. He stood up confusing the others and watched him as Kageyama walked over to the kitten and picked the kitten up, sat down on the floor and pet the kitten. He checked the kitty gender and saw a girl. His teammates saw him holding the kitten with a smile on his face.
The others found it cute except for Oikawa. Kageyama made little cooed noises to the kitten as he pets the kitten for a few minutes then letting go of the kitten he walked back to the table,sat down and drunk his milk.
He then realized he was getting stared at, he looked up to see they were staring at him.
He put down his milk and asked "uhm what??"
Kindachi: so you like kittens?

As Kindachi ask me that I nodded.
•1 hour later•
Class had ended. So I said my goodbyes to the others and made my way home to greet my grandfather.
Grandfather: how was your first day joining?
It was good I think they like me except for one boy but! He will like me eventually!
Grandfather: now that's the spirit *he smiled*
Kageyama: are you hungry?
Grandfather: does that mean you get to cook for me?
Kageyama: wow you sound like I haven't been cooking for you all this time *pouts*
Grandfather: ah I'm just joking around I can't wait to eat
I smiled as I went to the kitchen and made food while his Grandfather watching TV for awhile. I had always cooked for Grandfather since I knew he wouldn't be able to.
Yes I can cook, I can cook a few dishes and still learning to Make more Grandfather doesn't mind if its the same food the next day I knew he likes it. I lived with Grandfather ever since my parents died. It was hard for a few weeks but Grandfather has been there for me. I'm grateful to have him in my life. As I finish making dinner I set it down on the table and called for him to come eat. He came and we sat down at the table and started eating.
We talked and laughed for awhile.
•2 hours later•
It was getting late so we both went to bed I helped Grandfather to lay on the bed and tucked him in. Good night I told him.
"Goodnight he said" as I closed the door and head to my room, brushed my teeth and went straight to bed.
*morning*
I woke up to my alarm, I set it off, got up and got dressed. I didn't wake my grandfather as I knew he needed a lot of rest. I made breakfast for the both of us and set his food in the microwave and writing a note telling him to heat up the food I made for him when he wakes up. I grabbed my bag and made my way to school.
I saw the vending machine to see they had milk, I smiled as I bought milk. Now this is the way to start off a day with milk.
•Oikawa pov•
I was in the gym setting up the nets, after setting that up I walked out the gym to the vending machine to grab a drink, until I saw that New kid whatever his name was I looked at him drinking his milk "tsk" I see him looking away as he drinks his milk.
I walked in front of him as he was in the way of the vending machine. I did see him focusing on who was infront of him.
"Oh hi..Oikawa.. He said.
I grabbed my drink and stood back up straight to looked at him. "Tsk" was all I said before heading back into the gym.

As I Saw Oikawa walked back to gym I knew he still isn't happy about having a new member. I sighed, threw away my milk that was empty and walked into gym.
Kindachi:Hi Kageyama
Hi Kindachi
Kunimi:ready for your first practiced?
Yes I said excited.
Kunimi:that's great, wanna practice with me and Kindachi?
Sure I said.
Uhm can I set it for you guys?
Kindachi:sure
We got into position and as I looked at the ball in my hand. I smiled that this could be the one to impress them. I have practice a lot with setting up the ball. I told myself I could do this.
I looked at the both of them signiling that I was ready, they nodded in response. I set the ball to Kindachi as he hits the ball on point just as Kageyama was hoping for. Kunimi: that was a good set Kags!
I smiled. Kindachi: let's go for another one
I nodded as I took another ball and set it up for Kindachi just to hit it on point again.
Not knowing someone was watching Kageyama.
Can I set for you Kunimi?
Kunimi:sure
Kindachi and Kunimi switch places and I set the ball for Kunimi twice and both was on point.
I was happy they liked my sets all my practice was worth it. Kunimi: how did you learn how to set like that?
Kageyama told them that he was taught by his grandfather as soon as he said that the other members came over to them even Oikawa. Oikawa was dragged by Iwaizuma over to where Kageyama listening to what he was saying.
Kindachi; oh cool so your grandfather taught you.
"Yeah I learned at a young age..
Kunimi: did your parents taught you as well?
I stopped talking as he mentioned my parents I don't know If I should tell them.. Because at my old school I was bullied because I didn't have parents.
I was afraid they would bully me as well.
Kindachi: hey Kags you alright?
"I.. I don't know I don't want to get bullied by this
The others looked at each other
Oikawa: probably because you deserved it. Iwaizuma smacked the back of Oikawa head.
Oikawa:yah stop that
Iwaizuma: stop being rude, sorry Kags keep going?
My heart felt a pang of hurt from what Oikawa words and then he thought.
Did I deserved it? Was it his fault his parents died that he got bullied by it?
Tears were falling down his cheeks as his memebers started getting worried by Kags was reacting.
Kunimi: I'm sorry if I said something wrong.
I smiled.. A sad smile.. I looked at all of them even at Oikawa then I said.
"I supposed I did deserved it..getting bullied for what.. Was it my fault that my parents died...on my birthday.. I couldn't stop the tears from falling, not like I wanted them to stop. I kept going with what I had to say.
My fault that they wanted to buy me a gift...my fault that they died in a car accident.. Both of them.. Gone.. I felt my knees go weak but I wouldn't let myself to fall down. Iwaizuma smacked Oikawa on the back of the head again and glared at him.
Oikawa:ow!
Iwaizuma:oh shut it.
Kunimi: I'm so sorry I shouldn't have
No no its alright It's not like I can keep it a secret. I'm alright tho
Kindachi: you sure?
I nodded and wiped my tears. Kunimi walked out and came back handing me milk. I smiled as I took it and started drinking the milk from the straw.
Kunimi: I'm sorry for making you cry
Its alright Kunimi you didn't know. I gave him a reassuring smile.
Kunimi: okay
We took a break. I smiled abit that i didn't get bullied like before. They comforted me, I been cared for. He couldn't stop smiling. As someone sits nexts to him. It was Kunimi. Kunimi: I see someone who couldn't stop smiling hm?
Oh uhm aha its nothing.
Kunimi: mm well your sets were good actually for your first day.
I'm glad it was good I sighed in relief.
