Lena made a snotty face and grumbled under face, just wanting Darien to hurry up. She was having this feeling she didn't belong here and she snorted. She was here first. Rebekah was on the counter, keeping an close eye on Lena. Lena bared her teeth and growled lowly at the cat so Ash wouldn't hear her, but enough for the kitten. Lena cursed Ash for letting Darien keep that feline.
The kitten hissed, glaring at Lena.
Darien door opened and he came out in grey sweat pant and a black t-shirt. Today he was going to the his first MMA meeting and Mr. Beckett had warned him wear work out closed cause their going to want to see how good he is. And Ash was driving the both to it cause he wants to see how good his cousin is.
He walked over to them, "I see you two were in control while I was gone.", he said as he picked Rebelah up and she purred, rubbing her neck against his and Lena was tempted to grab her and throw her out the window. She was tempting her!
Lena glared and leaned towards the feline, "Just remember this, I'm still his favorite girl.".
The kitten just glared at her as Darien scratched the top of her head.
Darien through his arm over Lena's shoulder and pulled her into his chest, "You both are my favorite, I just can't make out with cat.".
Darien phone then ranged and he took it out of his back pocket, reading the text. "Time to go, don't burn down the apartment, Rebekah.", he said as he set the cat down on the floor and even tried to follow them out. Lena was the last to go out and she smirked and waved by to Rebekah before closing the door on the angry cat.

Lena face turned into an 'ouch' kind of look when a guy around Darien age slammed Darien right into the blue mat and held him in a position that looked painful while Ash was beside her, chuckling. When Darien didn't fight back or gave the sign he surrenders, the guy got off him and helped Darien up a he rubbed his neck, "Damnit.".
"Your good for a newbie.", the guy said. "But don't think you can beat me any time soon, I've been doing this for three years.".
"Yeah, sure.", Darien said before walking over back to Lena and Ash.
"Wanna try something else?", Lena asked, hoping he'll agree. She didn't like watching him get beat up. "I hear yoga also a good way to relieve stress.".
"Are you kidding?", he asked. "I'm loving it here, the adrenaline is amazing."
Not what she wanted to hear, but she continued to smile and patted his back, "Okay.".
After getting a drink of water, Darien went back to over one of the instructor and showed him some moves he could do. Darien then practiced with one of the boys who was new and he was no match compared to Darien since Darien was bigger and stronger.
After an hour of Darien first day, Lena could tell Darien loved MMA cause he had a smile she only ever seen when she does something, but she could tell he has real big passion-even if it's fighting and if made him happy, it makes her happy.
His instructor who was name Chris had his arm over Darien shoulder and pointed as they walked over where Darien stuff was, "I like you, Darien, I can see real potential in you. You'll need to work out at five times a week, eat lots of proteins, I'll teach you everything you need to know. It all be on the form I'll give you, but I'll warn you first, if this effect your grades, you'll have to stop until you pull them up. Understand?".
"Yeah.", Darien said. "Don't worry, with her, she'll forced me to do my work until my eyes bleed.", he said, chuckling as he pointed at Lena who glared back at him.
"Well good.", he said. "I want you back here tomorrow at five and we'll work for two hours, we'll start in the weights room and with some boxing moves. And no offence to your girlfriend, but keep her away, she's distracting you.".
Darien put an arm around Lena and she tried to get out of his grasp since he was sweaty and smelled a little, but he kept a good grip on her, "Hey, can you help me? She's cute.", he said, cupping her chin and shook it a little.
She scuffed and took his hand away, "Don't make me back flip you, cause you know I can do it.", she said told him, giving him a warning look.
"Right.", Chris said, not believing her from his tone of voice. "I'll give you that paper and you can go. Remember, be here at five.".
Darien nodded, "I will."
After Chris left, Ash patted his cousin shoulder, "Proud of you, man. Who knows, you might even become a star athlete.".
Darien chuckled, "I got a long away before that dream would ever come true.".
Lena smiled, "So someone does have a dream.", she said. "I know you can do it, Darien. I believe in you.". He kissed her forehead before she pushed him away, "I love you, but you smell. Put on extra deodorant next time.".

Two days later..
Lena was rubbing Abigail's stomach since Jaycee was kicking inside when the doorbell ranged and Lena excitedly gotten up and went over to the door, letting Darien and Ash in. Ash was in front and he held a bag that said 'Happy Birthday' on it, "From me.", he said.
She took the bag with a smile, "Thanks, Ash, but you didn't have to get me anything.".
He shrugged and they hugged before he stepped aside to let Darien in.
She smiled brightly and kissed him. He reached in his jacket pack and pulled out small wrapped box, "Sorry it's small, but it was sure damn expensive.".
She smiled and took the box, "I would have been fine with just flower-"
"Oh okay, I can take it back.", he said chuckling, snatching the box away from her and she took it back.
"Oh no!", she said. "I'm very sure I'm going to love it Darien. Thank you.".
They joined the small little party, most of it was her family, and some friends from school. Ash joined her brother Skyler and the twins, catching up on things. Abigail and the girls were all giggling about something and Jamie and Scott were throwing chips at each other to see if they could catch it each other mouths.
Lena and Darien were talking with some friends, one of them being Char since he was at the table while Lena was talking about it and just invited himself.
After eating and everything, they all gather around the dinning room table and they sang happy birthday and Lena sat there, smiling awkwardly. Being singed happy birthday wasn't something she didn't liked about birthdays.
"Okay, Lena, stick you're face in the cake.", her dad said after they sang and she blew out the candles. Lena did it every birthday, stick her head in the cake, that's the part she loved about birthdays. Her and the boys always did it cause it just fun and who wouldn't want cake on their face and take a bite chunk of cake? But Lena was hesitate now, didn't want to face full of cake and Darien laugh at her who was looking confused at her with a grin on his face.
Everyone waited for her to do it and she blushed real hard. She bit her lower lip as she lowered her head towards the cake, wondering if she should just do it or back out-
Suddenly Darien hand went on the back of her head and her face slammed right into the chocolate icing and cake. She gasped as she stuck her face up from the cake and wiped icing off from around her eyes as everyone around began laughing like crazy from the surprised. Her head snapped to Darien and before she could stopped herself, she grabbed a big handful of the cake and slammed it front in his face since he was so busy himself laughing to pay attention, he fell backwards into the ground and Lena joined the laughter.
Lena wiped her face as Darien got up from the floor and surprising him again, she kissed his cheek, rubbing her face against his cheek.
"Totally not fair.", he said, chuckling. "Not my birthday.".
"Oh, I'll think of something.", she said, coming up with a balloon cake.

Lena took the tissue paper out from on top of Ash's gift and was surprised to see a bunch of girly stuff like shampoo, lotion, body spare, and a few other stuff and she looked at Ash a little confused.
"I should have mention my girlfriend picked out that stuff.", he said. "But hey, I did pick the bag out!".
She smiled, "Okay, fair enough. Thanks you so much.".
She mostly got the same thing from everyone; birthday cards, some money, CDs, gift cards, girly stuff like makeup and perfume, cloths from her parents. She saved Darien gift for last and she was excited as she ripped the wrapping paper off. She opened the black box and she found a gold necklace that said "Lena' in cursive with a rose one side and a heart on another with a what looked like a dove on the bottom.
People around went behind her to see what was in the box and they all said 'awe' to see the gift. Lena was expecting maybe just a necklace with a heart, but she didn't expect a necklace that said her name. She thought it was so sweet.
She turned to Darien and hugged him tightly, "I love it. Thank you so much", she said and then put the necklace on.
"Aww.", Lena friends said.
"Why can't I have what you have?", one of them asked and they all agreed.
Lena chuckled and blushed, laying against Darien chest, "Just gotta find the right one and be yourself.".

When it was around two in the morning, Lena snuck out of bed and opened her window, waving at Darien. He waved his hand in a way telling her to hurry up and she nodded. Lena moved to sitting on the ledge of the her window and she jumped off, landing on all floors.
"Oh yeah, that's normal.", Darien whispered to her. "Jumping out windows without breaking any parts of your body. Must be nice to be a werewolf.".
She shrugged, "I guess, but stuck having to keep this huge secret from mostly everyone at school sucks.", she said. "Now come on cause my brothers do have great hearing sense hearing and catch us.", she said as she took his hand and went into the forest
After thirty minutes of walking, they got to the cliff where the lake was twenty feet below. Lena looked at Darien who kind of looked uncomfortable.
"What's wrong?", she asked.
His head snapped to her, "What? Oh nothing, but are you sure this is a smart idea? It's like fifty five degrees out and you want to jump into freezing cold water.".
"And my body over a hundred degress warms, you'll be fine. Just a little bit cold for a few seconds.", she said. She then teased him, "What? Scared of heights?".
He 'pssh' and rolled his eyes, "No.".
She knew he was lying since he does that when he lies and she gasped, "You are! Ohmigod, big bad Darien is afraid of something!", she chuckled and he rolled his eyes again.
"Of course not.", he said, scuffing.
She chuckled and hugged his waist, "Come on, it'll be fun.".
"Why do you want to do this anyways?", he asked. "It's ridiculous and crazy.".
"To you, it is. To me, it's normal. And well, it's kind of a tradition. I would do it with my brothers, but it'll be more fun to do it with my mate.", she said, leaning up and kissed him. "It's only about sixteen feet, it's nothing. Gotta face your fears at some point.".
"I don't know, Lena.", he said.
She sighed and stepped back, taking her socks off, "Fine, I'll just do it alone.".
When she was about to jump into the lake, he stopped her, "Wait, okay, I'll do it.".
She smiled and he took his jacket and shoes off. She took his hand and his hand tighten in hers. She looked up at him and he looked down at her, "On three. One...two...three!".
They then jumped into the air and dove into the water. At first, it was even cold to Lena but her body heat picked up as they raised to the top, still hand to hand.
"Ho-holy sh-shit!", Darien said as his teeth chattered. "That w-was mor-re then cra-crazy! It was i-insane!".
She chuckled and kept her body close to his as they same over towards landed. His teeth were chattering loudly as he laid down on his back and she wrapped her body around his, hugging him also. His chest was moving up and down quickly and Lena listened to his heart. He put his hand on her skin and in a few moments, his chattering teeth soon slowed down and his chest slow down it's quick heart beating.
Darien's handed moved from her arms to her lower back which was sticking up a little and moved his inside her white black t-shirt, "Your so warm, I never noticed how much until now.", he said. "I'm never doing that again.".
"Okay.", she said. The cold water that was on them was now warm water and Darien body soon turned back to his normal temperature, but they were still both wet. They just laid there and Lena couldn't help but think this was one of the best birthday's she had. Sure, when she was little, her mother would go all out on her and the boys birthday, but this year was perfect.
She lifted her head up and she kissed him. One of his hands went up behind her necks as he kissed her hard. She moved one of her hands under his t-shirt and ran her hand along the scars around his abdomen and they proved Darien was a survivor. They just laid there, kissing.
Until they heard someone coughing and they both froze, slowly looking up to find all her brothers standing in a line, arms crossed over their chest, and looking all 'business'.
Lena smiled innocently, "Hey guys."
