I just entered the washroom and looked at myself in the mirror.
I was all red.
Damn you Arora!
Why did he even kiss me at the first place?
And I was all in my la la la land when he started asking about if i want to give it a chance or not.
I just washed my face and stepped out of the washroom to see Sarah sitting with an annoyed face on the bed and Sahil and Dhruvv laughing on her.
"Priya thank god you are to my rescue. They won't listen to me." Sarah said looking at me.
"What's wrong?" I asked looking at her.
"I told Sahil that I wanted the glitter kind of theme for the cocktail party. But they are saying that you won't change the theme in such a short time. Now they both are teasing me about it! She said with a sad face.
"Consider it done. Anyways the cocktail party is 3 days later. We still have time. I'll manage." I said smiling.
"Are you serious Priya? 3 days? You'll have to change the whole materials also you know right?" Sahil asked shocked.
"Yess.. i know! But if she wants it then who am i to refuse. It is not everyday that you get married and so she would get everything she wants!" I said and Sarah hugged me tight.
"How much I love you!" Sarah said.
Dhruvv came by my side and pulled me from her embrace "Go with these love confessions to your fiance. Leave my wife for me!" He said scowling.
We all laughed at him.
And then Sarah and Sahil left.
Dhruvv turned towards me and was going to say something but i was too embaressed to face him so before he stops me i said "I think the engagement preparations are not done yet. I'll go check them." With this i literally ran away from there.
I heard him laughing.

Today is Sarah's engagement and so many preparations are to be done.
I checked if everything was fine and then went towards my room to get ready for the engagement.
When I entered i saw Dhruvv getting ready and when I saw him i just turned around and was going to enter the closet when he came and stood before me with hands crossed in front of him.
"What is it with you & ignoring me?" He asked.
Yess.. i've been ignoring him since the yesterday's kiss.
No... not because i didn't like it or i regret it.
I am just embaressed.
One second i was talking about me leaving him and the other second I was kissing him!
Seriously!
And again I blushed remembering about the kiss.
"Ohh... so you are ignoring me because we kissed?" He asked with a smug look.
"Uhh no..!" I said still not meeting his eyes.
He raised my chin up so that i could look at him.
"I meant each and every word which I said after kissing you. I can't imagine even a single day without hearing to your useless talks. I don't want you to leave. I want you. I know i realised late but please give me this chance." He said looking at me with sincerity.
Don't do this to my heart!
"You just called my talks useless." I said glaring at him.
"Oh my god what do I do with you my angry bird!" He said laughing and then pulled me towards him and touched our forheads together "I won't disappoint you." He said looking straight into my eyes with so much emotions.
No! No!
Don't look at me like that!
I just sighed and then hugged him.
In no time he took me in his arms.
"You better not!" I said with my cheek still pressed against his chest.
He kissed the top of my head.
"Go and get ready." I nodded still hugging him.
It is soo comfortable here!
"What if you lose interest in me ultimately?" I asked him. This is my biggest insecurity.
What if i am not enough for him?
Same happened with Sahil too!
"What if I don't?" He asked.
I looked at him and he just smiled at me.
"Don't overthink Priya. Remember I promised you, I won't get away from you. I meant that!" He said caressing my cheek.
"Says the one who told me to leave him." I said rolling my eyes.
"And also owned up my mistakes when I realised them. I am no perfect Priya but want to try for you. Only you!" He said pecking my nose.
My phone rang at the same time and it was
Sarah
"Shit! Your sister must be going crazy over there. I need to get ready. Bye!" I said hurriedly getting away from his arms and running to the closet.
I got ready and was heading down towards the lawn where the engagement was supposed to take place.
I was wearing a blue lehenga and hair were left open.
Priya's outfit.
I was just instructing one of the workers to hang the lights properly. They need 24 hour attention to get the work properly done.
Just then 2 hands wrapped around me and were resting on my bare stomach.
"Dhruvv... Did you check If Sachin is ready?" I asked holding his hands which were on my stomach and trying to remove them.
"The workers over there are eyeing my wife. I need to mark my territory. You know!" Saying this he kissed the side of my head.
"And yes Sachin is ready. Stop fretting will you?" He asked.
He then turned me around and I sighed "It is a big day for Sarah. I want everything like she wants. I don't want to disappoint her." I said playing with the button of his sherwani.
"You look beautiful. And the arrangements are on point. Don't worry." He said and was caressing my waist which was bare.
"Stop doing that. You know we are standing in the middle of the lawn." I said laughing.
"Will you give me this chance when we are alone?" He whispered in my ear.
I swear for a second my heart beat stopped!
I was just looking at him wide eyed.
"Such a flirt!" I said hitting his chest.
"Only for you babe... Only for you!" He said pecking my lips and then walked away.
He was walking backwards still looking at me. And I was busy blushing looking at him.
When did he become this romantic?
The engagement ceremony was going on smoothly.
Sarah was busy blushing and gushing over people's comments. I didn't notice when Dhruvv snaked his hand around my waist from my side and pulled me to him.
I just kept my head on his shoulder and we were just standing there in a comfortable silence.
"I ruined your chance of getting married to the person you love, right? The chance of looking into your fiance's eyes while exchanging rings. The chance of thinking about your to be wife the whole night before getting married. The chance of smiling like a fool when you see her entering the mandap." I asked Dhruvv my eyes still fixed on Sarah.
"There were literally zero percent chances that I was going to fall in love with someone and then get married. For now what matters to me the most is You are my wife. If someone asks me to go and change everything what happened back then, I would still choose to marry you. Because you my dear wife are very precious to me!" He said and I looked at him with teary eyes. Even his eyes were focused on Sarah and Sachin and a small smile playing on his lips.
"And I was not deprived of any chances. I did look into your eyes when we exchanged our rings. I did think about you the whole night before wedding. And I did smile like a fool seeing you entering the mandap." He said looking at me with the same smile.
And and that very moment I fell in love with this man!
