BEEP BEEP BEEP
I stop the alarm before getting out of bed, I just sit there for a second thinking about how another day was laying before me. With no energy to move on I get out of bed and into the bathroom, another awful day at Beacon was waiting for me.
I used to be a Huntsman in training like all the other students here, that was until an accident which left my body damaged, the most noticeable injury being my now constant limp for which I have a walking cane. I would have been kicked out of Beacon if it wasn't for Goodwich advocating for me to become her assistant, why she did that I'll never know, but I appreciate it.
Life at Beacon would be nice if it wasn't for the students making fun of and bullying me for not being a proper student, it easily made life hell. Now the pestering from the students I could take if it wasn't for three in particular, Weiss, Mercury, and Coco. Those three unlike all the other students go out of their way to seek me out wherever I am and make my life a total hell.
At least Goodwich was nice and I liked helping her, the other teachers treated me kindly even if they somehow didn't see how I was getting treated by the students. While I could just leave Beacon I couldn't do that to Goodwich, not after she made it possible for me to stay, that and I didn't know where else to go and what to do as I couldn't have gone anywhere else...
TIMESKIP
Tired I walk into the dormitories after the school day is over, right as I walk through the doors I get hit in the back of the head making me stumble. Once again it was Weiss, Mercury, and Coco who each had a stack of books on them, they had shit-eating grins as per usual.
Before I could do anything they throw their books at me until I fall over, Mercury kicks my good leg once I'm down. They continue throwing their books at me until they had no more, laughing all the while.
Coco: "Take these books back to the library for us will you?" She said in her usual bitchy tone.
Laughing once again they walk off as if nothing had ever happened.
Once they were out of earshot I get back up and slowly limped my way back to my dorm, the day finally over. On my way I got the usual stares from other students, I just walked into my dorm and locked the door.
I sit down on my bed before feeling around under the mattress, after a few seconds I find what I was looking for, an old blood-soaked rag.
I can't remember a time when this rag wasn't covered with my blood, it was once a bright white. I put the rag on my lap as I get my dagger out from beneath my pillow, since the accident it's been only used for this, not slaying Grimm.
I uncover my arms as all the scarring stares back at me, I make cuts down the entire length of them, reopening wounds that hadn't gotten the time to properly heal. After a few minutes of doing this, I could feel myself grow lightheaded, I cover the cuts as I go into the bathroom, I wring out as much blood out of the rag as I can before putting it back under the mattress.
I pull all my clothes off until I'm just in my underwear before getting into bed, tomorrow is another day...
TIMESKIP - NEXT DAY
Indeed today was another day, an awful day. I was glad that classes were over as I got bullied like always, Goodwich send me on a lot of errands which meant I got to avoid some of it. I got to meet a teacher I had never seen before on one of the errands, a new professor called Peach, she seems really nice.
Now I was in Vale to get a few things from the store, maybe I'll even see a good book on sale. Reading has always been a way for me to try and forget about all of this, it worked sometimes. Weiss and the others have taken some of my books and destroyed them, since then I have only ever read within the comfort of my dorm.
I'm about to get there when I fall down, when I look back I see that Weiss had tripped me. She laughs at me as I see that Mercury and Coco were there as well. I try to get up when Weiss kicks me in the side, I dry heave as all the air is forced out of me.
Weiss: "Didn't think we'll see a worm here in the city."
Coco takes my walking cane and snaps it in two, throwing the bits at my head. Mercury gets out a knife, smirking he gets closer-
The low growl of an engine could be heard as suddenly we were illuminated by the headlights of a purple Charger, a VERY angry-looking Goodwich steps out. She raises her riding crop and with a flick of her wrist sends all of the bullies into a wall, breaking their Auras.
Glynda: "Now either you leave or I'll make you!!" She said with a deadly glare.
The bullies quickly scramble to their feet and run away, Glynda comes over and gently picks me up. She sits with me on the hood and hugs me, making sure not to hurt my bruises.
Y/N: "M-Ms. Goodwitch, w-why...why did you help me? everyone else just doesn't care..."
Glynda: "The way that the majority of students treat you back at Beacon is simply not right, not fair, I wish I could boot all of those students for that...but I can't."
A silence took over for a minute, a comfortable one though as I felt rather safe in her hold.
Glynda: "That isn't the only reason though, to be honest...I...I love you." She explained as she put a hand under my chin.
I looked at her shocked, never did I think she, let alone any woman, could ever love me. She leans in slowly and kisses me, I just let her take over as I enjoy my first kiss.
Glynda: "How was that?" She asks blushing as we separate.
Y/N: "A-Amazing Ms. Goodwich." I reply still shocked.
Glynda: "Call me Glynda."
She helps me into the passenger seat, as we start driving I notice we were going in the opposite direction of Beacon.
Y/N: "Where are we going?"
Glynda: "To my place, you can spend the night with me."
Y/N: "I-I wouldn't want to be a burden."
Glynda: "You're not a burden and never could be." She answered
I watched the cars and houses go by as the drive continued on for several minutes, when it finally came to an end we were parked in front of a small beige house.
Glynda: "Here we are." She announced before getting out.
She walked around the car, I expected her to help me out of the seat but instead, she picked me up.
Inside the house was very cozy with darker warm colors everywhere and somewhat old-timey furnishing. She carried me all the way to the bedroom, I was confused she walked right past the couch...
Glynda: "Make yourself right at home."
Y/N: "I-"
Glynda: "And we're sleeping in the bed together, I'm not having you spend the night on the couch." She says cutting me off.
Before I could say anything she starts undressing, I wanted to look away but couldn't, she is simply stunning. Blushing once again I start undressing as well, once I was only in my boxers I joined her in the bed. She pulled the blanket over us both and pulled me over to her where she hugged me tightly, my head was on her chest, her heartbeat lulling me to sleep...
TIMESKIP - NEXT MORNING
After breakfast Glynda drives with me to Beacon, she even makes a quick stop to get me a new walking cane. I tried to ask her how much it cost so I could pay her back, but she refused to take any money from me no matter what.
When we arrived at Beacon she walked me to my dorm, she left for her office as there still were a few minutes before her class started. She didn't leave before giving me another kiss, making me just stand there again like the blushing idiot I was.
The dorm fell silent now that Glynda is gone, I just stand there in thought. I was still in disbelief at the fact that I had spent the night at her place and that I was now in a relationship with her.
Weiss: "Why are you here asshole? shouldn't you be kicked out of Beacon?"
I turn around and panicked when I heard Weiss's voice, yet when I looked she wasn't there. My breathing starts to grow erratic as I started to hear the voices of the other students, how they hated me, how I wasn't supposed to be here...
Tears started rolling down my cheek as I collapsed to my knees, I cried out for them to stop as I banged my head on the bedframe. I fumble around until I get my dagger from under my pillow, cutting away blindly at my arms, too late had I realized that from my careless cutting I've created a puddle of blood on my carpet.
I quickly rush to wash the dagger and put it away again, with all my strength I desperately try to scrub the blood out of the carpet, there has to be a wa-
My entire body tenses up when I hear knocking on my door, this is the one thing I never wanted to happen.
Glynda: "Y/N?...Y/N?" She calls out in between knocks.
Suddenly the door opens, when Glynda sees me and the blood on the carpet she freezes. She takes a few steps closer, she looks as if the world just shattered.
Glynda: "What...happened?" She asks as she looks at the blood on the carpet.
I didn't know how to answer her, what could I say that would get her out of here quickly?
When she looks at my face she stops suddenly, she steps closer and puts a hand on my cheek.
Glynda: "Oum...why are you so pale all of a sudden?"
I tried to pull away but she kept her hand there, she looked only more concerned with every second.
Glynda: "A-Are you injured?" She asks looking worried.
Y/N: "N-No..."
Glynda: "I'm going to check you all over." She said not sounding convinced.
Y/N: "T-That isn't necessary, it real-"
I stopped when she had pulled my shirt off...revealing my arms, in my rush to get the blood out of the carpet I had only put my sleeves up, not covered them up like I usually would. I only felt worst when Glynda started crying, she hugs me tightly as we both sit down on my bed.
Glynda: "T-This isn't the way Y/N, y-you don't have to do this!" She choked out as I started crying as well.
Y/N: "I'm sorry..." I croak out.
Glynda: "If you ever feel the need to do this again then I want you to come straight to me, no matter where I am, no matter what I'm doing, promise?"
Y/N: "I-I promise."
Glynda: "D-Do you have a first aid kit?" She asked sniffling.
Y/N: "Second drawer of the cabinet..." I replied looking down.
She quickly got the kit and started bandaging my arms, she did it as carefully as possible.
Glynda: "I know you did this because of them, but you mustn't worry anymore, I will take steps against this." She said as she finished up the bandages.
Y/N: "O-Okay."
Glynda: "Now I want you to give me what you use to cut yourself."
I give her the dagger, when she sees that I used my weapon to do it she only grew sadder.
Glynda: "Wait here, I will be back in a few minutes and then we can go to class okay?"
Y/N: "Okay..."
I watch as she leaves, I just look down at my arms. The minutes go by as I sit there in shame, I can't believe I've made Glynda cry, after everything she has done for me.
When Glynda came back she wouldn't tell me what she did, we just walked through the halls to her class.
I nervously follow Glynda as we walk into her class, all the students were already there. I sat off to the side by Glynda's desk, meanwhile, she stood at the front with her usual stern expression.
Glynda: "Today will be a little bit different class, there will be no fighting today." She announced.
Cheering could be heard throughout the whole class, with only a few students staying quiet indifferently.
Glynda: "That's because only Weiss, Mercury, and Coco are gonna be fighting, they also have lots of detention and a trip to Ozpin's office after class." She said making them lose their smiles.
Weiss was about to object when Glynda set her foot down on the fighting stage loudly, her glare falling on the heiress.
Glynda: "Now you three, get on the stage or reap the consequences."
And for the rest of the class, those three had to fight or more like were destroyed by Glynda on stage, meanwhile, she explained what they were doing wrong and how they could be better while the other students took notes.
When class was done those three were limping out of class in massive pain as the rest just left happily, Glynda surprised me from behind, making me almost drop the papers I was sorting for her.
Glynda: "I have a surprise for you."
Y/N: "Y-You don't hav-"
Glynda: "Anything for you." She said cutting me off.
She opened a drawer and gave me an envelope, inside were two tickets to a resort in Mistral. I look at Glynda shocked, she just smiles and kisses me on the forehead.
Glynda: "Starting tomorrow we have a lot of free time, free time we can spend together in Mistral!"
Y/N: "W-What about Ozpin?"
Glynda: "He allowed it, not that I would have given him the chance to object anyway."
She pulled me out of the seat as we left class, I'd never seen her this excited before. When we arrived at her office she showed me several empty bags, they were all new.
Glynda: "I purchased some bags for us since I didn't have any, so now we can go pack up your stuff and then drive to my place to pack mine."
On our way to my dorm, Glynda got us some coffee from the teacher lounge, while we were there all the teachers wished us a happy trip, I couldn't stop blushing knowing that they already knew about me and Glynda.
As we packed my eyes constantly went over to the bloodstains on the carpet, when Glynda noticed she sat me down on the bed.
Glynda: "You won't have to worry about that anymore, those three are not just getting kicked out of Beacon but they are facing permanent repercussions for their actions." She said with her hands on my shoulders.
Y/N: "I know...it's just hard seeing those stains there, the fact that I made you cry is-"
Glynda: "I understand why you did it, you promised me you wouldn't do it again and I believe- no I know that you will keep that promise."
Y/N: "T-Thanks Glynda." I said smiling.
Glynda: "Don't mention it." She replied before giving me a quick peck on the lips.
After that it only took us a couple more minutes to pack my stuff as I didn't have that much, once we were done we got out to load it into the Charger.
TIMESKIP
I was a blushing mess when Glynda said I'll be the one to pack her clothing, I tried to protest but she just said that she would pack her other stuff.
I stopped packing when I noticed that Glynda had stopped, she looked like she was psyching herself up for something.
Glynda: "H-Hey Y/N?" She asked shyly.
Never before had I ever heard Glynda stutter, whatever the reason it must be big. Now I was on edge again, something must be wrong.
Y/N: "Y-Yeah?" I asked as I already braced myself for the worst.
Glynda: "D-Do you maybe want to...m-move in here?" She asked blushing.
I just stood there frozen, internally I was letting out the biggest sigh of relief imaginable.
Y/N: "R-Really...you'll want me here?"
Glynda: "Of course, I love you, and having you live here with me would be amazing." She explained as she intertwined our fingers.
Y/N: "I-I would love to!"
TIMESKIP
It was sunny and warm, people were having fun. I was laying down on a beach chair with my back up, I only had some swim trunks on. Glynda had given me a massage again, she just loves spoiling me.
Right now Glynda was drawing some things on my back with the suncream and I had to guess what it was, it was a pretty fun game to play, even if Glynda was oftentimes better at it than me.
Y/N: "I think that's a heart."
Glynda: "Correct, you're getting better."
She laid down beside me as she pulled me into her hold, making me lay against her.
Glynda: "There we go, much better." She said snuggling into me.
Thanks to her I finally feel whole again...
