Saya dan Hudson memandang sesama sendiri, smiling knowingly at each other…
“Bella replied, she’s arranged for the visitation…” Hudson looked up from his handphone..
“Do I need permission?” saya menaikkan satu kudou…

I just shrugged and tilted an evil smile thinking of Levierre… but my heart beat is still beating twice as fast.. maybe I’m just mad at what Luna Levierre did to Kimmy…

Dalam 20 minit kami sampai sudah IPK… kami masing-masing mendapatkan pass pelawat…
Sebelum masuk ke dalam the interrogation room where Kimmy is still locked up, Hudson menyapa saya…
“Kurt…” saya menoleh and saw a beautiful woman next to him… “this is our lawyer, Bella Robinson..”
“Kurtis… Bestian…” I just gave her a smile, my hands in my pocket…

Saya nampak Kimmy di penjuru bilik…

Kimmy cuba berdiri dengan tangan dia yang bergari, tapi she lost her balance dan hampir jatuh tersungkur kalau saya tidak menyambut dia dengan pantas…

Kimmy cried in my arms… I can feel her tears meresap ke dalam the thin layer of my shirt dan membasahi dada saya…
I cupped her face and looked down at her… the black and bluish bruises on her face and lips… the cut near her left eye… rambut dia yang berjuntaian seakan kena heret dan ditarik berkali-kali…
All that she suffered, saya dapat bayangkan setiap apa yang telah dilakukan oleh Luna Levierre terhadap Kimmy…
And I felt the first drop of my tears on my cheek…
“Don’t move…” suara saya sebak… saya melutut dan mengangkat separuh baju orange yang dipakaikan kepada Kimmy…
Saya terasa dada saya sesak… macam saya perlu bantuan pernafasan… perut Kimmy penuh dengan kesan luka dan lebam… saya menekan lembut tulang rusuk Kimmy…
“sssss… argghh..” Kimmy menahan sakit… saya mengesat air mata saya…
“you… have a broken rib, sorellina…” I whispered… as always, calling her my ‘baby sister’ whenever she doesn’t make me mad…
“sto bene, fratello…” dalam keadaan begini, dia masih boleh cakap she’s okay…
Saya memusingkan tubuh Kimmy… now looking at her back…

Saya berdiri dan merapikan baju dan rambut Kimmy dengan lembut…

Kimmy menggelengkan kepala…

Saya mencium puncak kepala Kimmy dan memeluk dia erat…

i walked out of the room dan memandang tepat ke mata Bella Robinson...
