It was a peaceful evening in Rahat Villa, where lived Rahat Khan, wife of late Nasir Khan, with her 3 sons and their families. The oldest, Aslam Khan and his wife, Sameena Aslam, parents of 29 years old Azam Aslam, 25 years old Furqaan Aslam and 23 years old Zainab Aslam.

The second oldest, Abbas Khan, and his wife, Ateeqa Abbas, parents of 23 years old Arsalan Abbas, and 20 years old Seher Abbas.

Her third child Zahid Khan and his wife Fareha, parents of 21 years old Junaid Zahid and 18 year old twins, Ayesha and Sana.

The last but not the least, Saba Ahmed, Rahat Khan's youngest child who lived with her husband and Her 24 year old daughter, Samiya Ahmed.

Rahat Villa was always filled with laughter and bickering among Rahat Khan's grandchildren who are not children anymore. All of them are adults now yet they still behave like little kids and there's a never dull moment in the house.

Yet another day and another playful banter among the cousins. Junaid ran around the house while Seher chased him. He ran into the garden and saw Furqaan reading a book, sitting on the bench which was situated in the garden itself.

"Bhai bachaen." Junaid ran and stood behind the bench.

"Junaid ke bacche, idhar aao tum, mai batati hun tumhe." Seher glared at him.

"Tumse pure ek saal bada hu, bhai bola karo mujhe." Junaid retroted.

"Bhai kehlane wali harkatein hain tumhari." She folded her arms against her chest. Furqaan was watching the scene, amused. This wasn't new for him, might as well say, it was entertaining.

"Kya hogaya?" Furqaan asked.

"Dekhein na bhai kaise jungliyon ki tarah meri piche bhaag rahi hai, aisa lag raha hai maar hi dalegi." Junaid said.

"Tum mere haath to ajao, mar hi daalungi tumhe."

"Acha acha itna gussa nahi, Seher" Furqaan chuckled. "Batao kya hua?"

"Dekhein na Furqaan bhai, meri saari chocolates kha li isne." She whined.

"Kyu khayi tumne uski chocolates." Furqaan asked Junaid as he pulled his ear.

"Ow ow. Yrr bhai wo to saamne rakhi thi to maine khali. Chor dein bhai mera kaan alag karengy kya." Junaid whined.

"Isse kahen mujhse sorry bole." Seher said.

"Sorry boldo mai chor dunga."

"Sorry Seher, meri pyaari behen, apne pyare bhai ko maaf kardo." Junaid ranted and Seher laughed.

"Maaf kiya, chor dein bhai." She giggled and Furqaan released Junaid's ear from his hold.

"Lekin ab aisa mat karna warna mai chacha jaan se shikayat karungi tumhari." She warned.

"Yar ab tum hum baccho ke bich me abba jaan ko laogi?" Junaid asked.

"Kon baccha? Tum pure ek saal bade ho mujhse." Seher said making Furqaan laugh and Junaid pout.

"Bohot hi buri ho tum to."

"Tum. Se. Kam." She emphasized on each word. "Ab mera dimag nahi khao maine dadi Jaan ke pas jana hai." With that she left.

She went to Dadi jaan's room and saw her cousins, Ayesha and Sana were already there.

"Kya hogaya, maghrib ke waqt kyu shor machaya hua tha?" Dadi Jaan asked.

"Junaid ne meri chocolates kha li sari." She cutely pouted at her dadi Jaan.

She was dadi jaan's favourite, because she's the most chulbuli granddaughter of hers. Zainab is a little reserved. Ayesha and Sana are quite the new generation kids so they find it hard to communicate among the elders. Seher and dadi jaan have this bond where they share secrets and gossip together. If you're looking for Seher and can't find her in the house, go to dadi jaan's room you'll definitely find her there.

"Uski ye majaal, bulao use main batati hun use." Seher laughed at dadi jaan's sentence.

"Rehne dein dadi Jaan. Inlogo ka to hamesha ka hai." Ayesha laughed.

"Sahi keh Rahi Ho." Sana agreed.

"Haan dadi jaan chorein, waise bhi Furqaan bhai ne daant diya use." Seher laughed.

Soon Sameena entered the room and gasped,

"Ary ladkiyon, tumlog tayyar nahi hui abhi tak?"

"Hume kahin jaana hai tayi ammi?" Sehee asked.

"Offo, humne bazar jana hai, bhul gayin." Sameena said.

"Ary haan, badi tayi hum bas panch minutes me tayyar hokr ate hain." Ayesha and Sana shot up from their seats and left for their room.

"Maine nahi jana tayi ammi." Seher said.

"Kyun?" Dadi jaan asked

"Ammi mujhe apni pasand ke kapde lene hi nahi dengi to mai ja kar kya karun." She laid her head in dadi jaan's lap.

"Tumhari pasand ke kapde bas black se shuru hote hain aur black py khatam." Sameena said with a laugh.

"Haan to main me ghar to pehnti hu na colorful kapde. Special occasions py hi black pehenti hu. Is ghar ki pehli shaadi hai, mai apne Azam bhai ki shadi me bhi apna signature color nahi pehnu?"

"Oho, Seher, tumhara pura cupboard black se bhara hai ladki, Allah se daro." Sameena said.

"Haan to thik hai na, ap log jaen aur mere liye apni pasand se kuch le aaen. Maine nahi jana bazar." Sameena left the room defeated.

"Dadi jaan mai apne room me ja rahi hun." She got up from the bed and walked towards the door, she was about to open the door but the door opened itself.

"Yaa Allah, Furqaan bhai dara diya apne mujhe."

"Oh sorry."

"Ary Furqaan beta, aao mere pas baitho." Dadi jaan called out.

"Ji dadi jaan." He said and walked to where she sat on her bed.

Seher was about to walk out of the room when he called out,

"Ruko." She stopped and turned around.

"Ji bolen?"

"Idhar aao." She sat down next to dadi jaan on the bed.

"Ye lein, apki medicines." He said handing dadi jaan a plastic bag. "Aur ye lo tumhari chocolates." He handed another bag to her.

"Jeete raho beta." Dadi jaan said as she put a hand on his head.

"Wah thank you so much." She copied dadi jaan's actions and said "jeete raho beta."

The three of them laughed at her antics and dadi jaan slapped her arm playfully followed by a "badmash kahin ki."

The moment was interrupted by the arrival of Azam, Sameena tayi and Seher's mom, Ateeqa.

"Ye mai kya sun raha hun?" Azam asked.

"Kya sun liya beta tumne?" Dadi jaan asked.

"Tum nahi chal rahi market humare saath." Azam said.

"Nahi ja rahi." She replied simply now munching on her chocolate.

"Acha hai nahi ja rahi. Adhe se zyada time to iske khaane pine me waste ho jaega." Ateeqa said.

"Kyun? Kya hua?" Furqaan asked confused.

"Meri shadi hai aur meri gudiya apni pasand se shopping bhi nahi karegi?" Azam said.

"To gudiya ko koi karne bhi to de apni pasand se shopping, jab inki marzi se lena hai to mai kyu market jakar thaku?"

"Seher, tumhe jo lena hai lo, bas
Black nahi." Ateeqa said.

"To aap le aaiye na apni pasand se kuch bhi colourful." She replied, emphasizing on the word colourful.

"Chachi jaan jane dein na, bacchi hai." Furqaan said.

"Aur wo sab colors pehnti to hai, bas eid aur shadiyon me hi to black pehenti hai." Azam said.

"Bigad do tum dono ise acche se." Ateeqa said.

"Kuch nahi hota na Ateeqa, choro bhi ab, sahi to keh rahe hain bacchi hi to hai." Tayi ammi said. "Seher tum utho jao tayyar ho aur Ayesha Sana ko bhi lekar aao sath mein."

"Yay bhai you're the best." She said to both of them and walked away smiling teasingly at her mother.

"Pagal hai ye ladki black ke piche." Everyone agreed.
