Once we had figured out everything and what are we going to do, we parted, and after I talk with Malia for something related to school I stated walking home.
Gladly Scott didn't follow me, after our talk. I am not happy with all this but I think we should stop and take a breath for a second. There is always a thing that pops up when we try to fix whatever it is that we have.
I arrived home after almost 10 minutes. It was 22:20 my mom was already sleeping so I took a quick bath and went to my room, but before I got in I sensed someone else , I didn't recognize the smell. I got in fast and tagged them on the floor not letting them move.
"Hey, easy there scarf"
"Kira?" I breathed out as I let her go.
"Hey scarf, I missed you man" she said and then hugged me...
"I missed you too foxy" I said while hugging her back. "Come, sit down and tell me, what you are doing here..." she looked at me with her sad eyes, oh no... "It's them isn't it? Why did you tell them where I am; you promised not to" I told her disappointed
"And I didn't" She answered
"Then how come you are ALL here; weren't you supposed to leave the pack?" I asked her still confused
"Listen, I don't know how but they knew I was leaving, they were following me everywhere" she started explaining
"What?" I whispered
"I heard them talk about contacting your mother" she continued and I look at her super worried "Don't worry they don't plan on harming her they just wanted to know where you are" she explained now i looked super confused "They told her that we will come visit you but that we wanted it to be a surprise" she finished
"Great, just great... But why did you come here when they're following you?" I asked heating her head, then I immediately went to the window.
"Chill out scarf I said they WERE following me, they are not any more" she assured me
and I sat down again "Care to explain?"
"Look, when it was Ramiro's turn to follow me I asked from a friend to flirt with him and I got away"
"Smart move"
"Aaand then I made it look like I left but I was hiding so that I could follow them and see what they were up to" she finished
"Wait so you made them think that they are following you here but you were actually following them?" I asked amazed
"Pretty much" she proudly admitted
"How did you pull that off?" I asked jokingly
"I am a fox after all, remember?" she said and we both laughed.
"Do you know why they're here?" i asked her
"They want to force you to go with them, James said that you are weak now, that you are an omega" she told me
"I'm not an omega anymore, but that's a long story that I'll tell you after you have eaten something" I said, caught her hand and dragged her to the kitchen
"Yes, food!" she said while we were getting downstairs.
I made her a dish with rice and omelet; after she ate we washed the dishes.
"The bathroom is right there go take a shower and I will bring you some clothes"... I was waiting in the living room when I heard the doorbell.
I went to open the door...
"Scott? What are you doing here?" I asked surprised, he jumped inside and closed the door
"I know I was the cause to all the problems you talked about but all those problems are gone now, you have nothing to think about, please we just need to talk" he said in one breath
"Look, right now it's really not the time" I told him while pushing him towards the door, he can't find Kira here. "We will talk tomorrow, I promise" He will think she is the enemy
"What is wrong with you?" he asked
"Scott please we will talk tomorrow" i promised still pushing him
"Fine, fine" he started walking towards the door
"Isaac, everything ok?" Kira asked just a second before Scott opened the door, confusion was written all over his face, I looked at him with wide eyes. Kira came out of the bathroom only with a towel around her body, because apparently the clothes are still waiting in the living room. I breathed out frustrated with how lucky I am...
"Is this one of the things I didn't know about you" he asked angry and opened the door to leave I quickly closed the door, not letting him go "You are not going anywhere until you hear me out" I then turned to Kira "and you, go get your clothes that I left in the living room and go get some rest upstairs" she looked at me to make sure everything is ok, Scott rolled his eyes and crossed his arms "its fine just go" I assured her
"So she is also sleeping in the same bed with you...?" Scott asked furious
"I'll take the sofa" I told him coldly.
At that moment Kira was passing by, dressed this time, to go upstairs "Isaac, I think he is jealous" Kira whispered to inform me, not knowing...
"Right..." Scott breathed out, he was so confused and angry but to me he looked very funny and cute that I couldn't stop myself from giggling a little...
"I didn't catch the joke here" he said even more angry than before
"I'm sorry allrigh..." he interrupted me
"Sorry??? Did you and her...?" he asked disappointed
"WHAT? NO!!" I quickly answered his stupid question.
"Then what are you apologizing for?"
"For laughing , I was going to say sorry, but you are way too cute when you get jealous" I walked closer "and from now on you are not allowed to disagree with the fact that you are a little puppy sometimes" I was now inches away from him "I'm sorry" I told him once again just before I leaned in to kiss him, he looked at my lips and closed his eyes but just when our lips were about to touch he backed off
"Who is she, why is she at your house and why WAS SHE NAKED" she was furious
"shhh my mum is sleeping"
"I'm waiting"
I caught his hand, dragged him to the living room and we sat on the couch. "Her name is Kira, she is from my old pack, my only friend from there actually, she is here because they came here looking for me so they can take me back." I explained
"And why was she naked?" he asked raising his eyebrows
"she was taking a shower and I forgot to give her clothes" I answered quick and frustrated "I am telling you the pack that's here is my old pack and that is what you ask about?"
"I don't care about the pack, if they don't understand that you are in our pack and still try to take you back they are doomed, so yes I care to know more about you and that Kira girl"
I just laughed a bit. "I've know her since we were babies. Our mothers are friends. We grew up together but when we were like 15 she went on a trip with her family, a long trip, for a whole year. When she came back she was a fox and after a few months I got bitten, so she joined the pack with me."
"Wow... Okay... So she is a fox like Malia is a coyote?" his fist question was
"Not exactly, she is not half fox half human, she doesn't change. She is a fox as in her spirit is a fox. She doesn't have super hearing or super speed or any of that but she does have some sick skills and she is strong maybe even stronger than wolves and that's why who ever knows what she is, doesn't mess with her." I explained
"So... how did you get bitten?" his second question.
I hesitated a little, I didn't know if I wanted to tell him yet.
"Hey, if you don't want to tell me it's alright" he assured me
"It's not that I don't want to or that I don't trust you, but if I start telling you I have to tell you about everything and I just..."
"It's fine, I get it. No pressure ok?" he said smiling so sweetly.
He moved his hand and put it behind me, I was now in his embrace, resting my head on his chest as he played with my hair.
"Why did you come here though?" I asked after a while not moving away from our hug.
"I wanted to talk"
"But I told you that I..."
"And i'm telling you that I have learned to not let people I care about face problems on their own and YOU should also respect THAT" he mocked me
"What are we going to do about the pack?" I asked concerned
"You have another pack now so they can't take you back and normally they would quit but even if they don't, too bad for them, I mean have you even seen your pack?" he said and chuckled at the end still playing with my hair. This is the most calm we have ever been...
