Bani was aware of Markaat's evil intentions. She wished to reverse the effect Markaat would do to her.
"I want the Gandhak stone.." Bani told Veer with an expressionless face.
"Of course...I'm ready to give my heart liver, kidney and even my life for you, sweetheart...!" He said and without questioning her, gave her the Gandhak.
Bani silently glared at him and placed it under the pillows.
"My dear Adi naagin sweetheart, can we sleep?" Veer asked winking at her
"By the way.....I love your silent treatment.....the way you look at me with....a lot of....." Veer said and lied down
"Hatred?" Bani questioned
Veer gave out his usual hearty laugh and said " I love your passionate looks....."
Bani pulled the duvet over her and lied down....
"Now tell me...sweetheart....do you love Jai more or do you hate me more?" Veer asked as he rolled facing the other direction
"I hate you more....." Bani snapped
"Aww..that's so sweet....that means you have more feelings for me....whether it's love or hatred......I'm happy and impressed," Veer chuckled and closed his eyes.
"We're SOULMATES!" Veer shouted suddenly
Bani was shocked
"This boy!" she thought to herself and drifted off to sleep, forgetting that the Gandhak was placed in between them under the cushions.

The next day,
Bani woke up holding her head....
"Hey Bholenath! why is my head hurting this much!" Bani sat up....
"What has happened to my voice!...." Bani was suddenly shocked.
Bani saw herself sleeping in front of her.
Bani looked into the mirror to get the shock of her life!
"What! NOOOOOOOOO" Bani shouted as she touched her face....
"I've turned into Veer!!! " She cried
"Sweetheart!...what happened?" Veer sat up and looked equally shocked as Bani was.
"Am I dead?" Veer questioned as he touched the face in front him
"My voice is very sweet.....and....my hair!..Oh wow!....." Veer looked into the mirror
He was sweetly surprised that he had turned into his wife...
"But how's this possible?" Bani(as Veer) questioned
"Sweetheart! relax! calm down.....where did you keep the Gandhak?" Veer(as Bani) asked
(NOTE: Veer and Banis' souls have been exchanged. Now Veer will be written as Bani and Bani will be written as Veer from now on)
"Under the pillow," Veer muttered
"Sweetheart! Don't you know that Gandhak reverses things.....You're adi naagin..I thought you were smarter...." Bani was cut in between
"Just shut up! I know what I am doing...I am adi naagin...but how did our souls get exchanged...?" Veer questioned
"Because I said we are soulmates last night....maybe and our souls have been exchanged" Bani said happily
"I am still adi naagin" Veer said
"Sweeheart.....it's alright.....we'll be able to switch our places after twenty four hours..." Bani cried
"What! I cannot stay in your body for one whole day....." Veer said
"Imagine that you have changed your form as naagin, baby doll," Bani tried to pinch Veer's cheek
"Stay away...." Veer glared at Bani
