My dreams have been good ones again which makes me smile while I shower and get ready. He's coming home today, he's most likely on his way to the airport now. It's still a bit chilly to wear dresses in Montreal right now so I go for black pants and a low V-neck black sweater. I'm working on applying makeup when I get a notification on my phone.
-Baby, can you pack a suitcase? We need to go to London as soon as I get to Mtl. I'll text you your boarding pass(one for Max too) and explain later. I love you xoxo
London? What's going on? I text back a reply to confirm I'm packing now. The email tells me that we're leaving soon after he lands here meaning I have to meet him there. It also means he'll be exhausted once we get to London, my poor baby.
Unsure of the reason why we need to fly there right away, I pack a carry-on with the basic items and just a few outfits. I do have clothes at our flat there as well. I also text Max to let him know we're flying to London. Being a bodyguard must be hard for them especially since we're always on the move. I did wonder if I should keep Max around, not that I don't appreciate his work, but now that I'm unemployed I've been spending a lot of time at home. I guess we'll see how it goes although I'm sure Ryan would put up a fight if I was to bring it up to him.
Sitting here waiting for hours to go by is stressful. It could be good, him having a new contract possibly or it could be bad. I call Maddy again, I know she's off today. We chit chat for a little bit, she's doing a good job at keeping me distracted going over different options for her wedding. The girl is so indecisive she'll be lucky if she makes up her mind in time. I tease her about it telling her we need to go shopping for dresses. After a while, Sam grabs the phone to tell me he needs her now. I can picture my sweet friend turning bright red.
The time comes for Max and me to head to the airport to meet with Ryan and Cooper. Going through security goes quickly and I'm finally able to find them in the lounge area. Cooper nods when he sees us. Then I see Ryan sitting on a sofa, he's on the phone, he opens his arms for me to sit on his lap. I cuddle into his chest and his arms wrap around me. He tells whomever he's talking to that I'm here and we'll board soon. Then he says "Don't worry about funerals right now, I'll take care of it," his voice cracks. I look up at him but he puts his hand into my hair bringing me to lay on his chest again. He gets off the phone and I feel him shaking while he hides his face into my hair. Knowing he needs time, we stay in a quiet embrace until we board.
